Christine Bleakley: Phillip Schofield is ‘cheeky’

Christine Bleakley looks forward to working with "cheeky" Phillip Schofield on 'This Morning'.
The 35-year-old TV presenter will cover part of Holly Willoughby's maternity leave next year - sharing duties with Amanda Holden - and she can't wait to take on the role.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I'm really looking forward to being a part of 'This Morning' during Holly's maternity leave.
"Phil is brilliant. One of the best. Very professional, great to work with and a bit naughty and cheeky off-camera, too, which I love more than anything really."
In addition to her new role on 'This Morning', the Irish beauty has been hard at working filming a new top secret project.
She teased: "I've been filming for the last two weeks and when I got home last night, I thought, 'God I've missed my own bed so badly.' I'm not allowed to talk about it but we've been filming for weeks now."
Christine shot to fame as co-host of 'The One Show' and later 'Daybreak', where she interviewed some of the biggest celebrities in the world, and the star admits she's had great experiences meeting her idols.
She said: "I've met a few of my heroes and they've actually always lived up to expectations. Dolly Parton was one of them. I've met her several times now over the years and I think I fell in love with her a bit more every time."

Seth MacFarlane sued for copyright infringement

Seth MacFarlane has been sued for alleged copyright infringement for 'Ted'.
The 'Family Guy' creator, along with Universal Pictures and Media Rights Capital, have been hit with the law suit from Bengal Mangle Productions - who claim the titular teddy bear character from 2012 film 'Ted' is an unlawful copy of their own animated bear.
The suit alleges that their bear - who is named Charlie and stars in web series 'Charlie The Abusive Teddy' and 'Acting School Academy' - and Ted are similar in physical appearance and behaviour.
The legal documents state: "Both Charlie and Ted reside in a substantially similar environment, including that both Charlie and Ted spend a significant amount of time sitting on a living room couch with a beer and/or cigarette in hand.
"Charlie and Ted each have a substantially similar persona, verbal tone, verbal delivery, dialogue, and attitude."
The law suit - which also names MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Productions - alleges that scenes in the web series, which aired in 2009 and 2010 on YouTube and FunnyOrDie.com, are similar to scenes in 'Ted'.
It also cites specific scenes in the film including Ted "showing a woman all the lewd acts he wants to perform with her, using violence to get his point across to John (Wahlberg), talking to Nora Jones about their sexual history, and making fat jokes even when his life is in danger."
'Ted' was directed, co-written and produced by MacFarlane and starred Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and a sequel is set to be released next June.

Fatboy Slim: Dance music ‘too commercial’

Fatboy Slim claims dance music has become "too commercial",
The veteran DJ - whose real name is Norman Cook - has confessed he feels as though the current popularity of dance music has resulted in pop stars trying to make money by putting a dance spin on their songs.
He explained: "It's got way too commercial and a lot of that electronic dance stuff really just sounds like pop music with squelchy noises.
"Before the internet it only happened after midnight in nightclubs and no-one really knew what went on."
The 50-year-old star - who is set to perform at a number of festivals throughout the summer - is also amazed by the new "rock-star" status of DJs.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "We've been put on a pedestal that possibly we don't deserve and it might have gone too absurdly in the other direction now.
"When I started doing this thirty years ago, a DJs status was just above that of a glass collector."
Fatboy also admitted that seeing DJs such as Calvin Harris become such big stars makes him feel proud.
The 'Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat' hitmaker added: "People like Calvin Harris come up to me and say, 'When I was a kid you were my inspiration', and that means a lot. I'm really chuffed that I'm still around and invited to the party.
"I kind of feel like a proud uncle when I see people like Calvin."

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to open London restaurant

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is planning to open a restaurant in London.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer - who revealed on Monday (14.07.14) that she'd married her boyfriend of three months Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony last week - is said to be helping her new husband decide on a location to open one of his luxury Cosy Box pop-up restaurants.
A source explained: "Cheryl's been really involved in helping JB find the perfect spot for his first restaurant here. They're considering trending London areas like Shoreditch, Notting Hill, Soho and Dalston.
"JB is very well travelled but Cheryl is loving getting to show him the ins-and-outs of London."
Jean-Bernard - who launched Cosy Box in 2008 - is said to be keen to get his new wife, 31, involved in all aspects of the business.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "When the restaurant opens, she wants to get involved and JB's joked that he'll put her to work in the kitchen."
Meanwhile, it's been reported that prior to their secret wedding ceremony on a beach on the Caribbean island of Mustique, Cheryl refused to sign a prenuptial agreement to protect her £16 million fortune.
The brunette beauty refused to sign one before marrying her ex-husband - former England soccer star Ashley Cole - in 2006 as she claimed the idea of a pre-nup was "disgusting".
A source close to Cheryl's family told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is a canny businesswoman but in matters of love, she believes the heart should rule the head to a certain extent."

Brody Jenner dismisses Kim rift over Reggie Bush wedding

Brody Jenner insists things are "all good" despite him attending his stepsister's ex-boyfriend's wedding.
The former 'The Hills' star - who is the son of Kim Kardashian-West's stepfather Bruce Jenner - can't understand why people are making such a fuss about him attending Kim's ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush's wedding to dancer Lilit Avagyan, despite him missing her recent nuptials to Kanye West in Italy.
Quizzed on why he'd missed his stepsister's big day, he said: "Kim's was in Paris. I was working. Kim's was in Paris - it's as simple as that."
He added: "It's kind of ridiculous that everybody's making such a big deal out of it. Reggie's been a friend of mine for a very long time so I went to his wedding. It's all good."
The 30-year-old reality TV star also commented on Reggie - who Kim dated on-and-off until 2010 - and Lilit's ceremony, which was held at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego last weekend.
He told Us Weekly: "It was awesome. I love Reggie. It was a great wedding. It was beautiful."
Meanwhile, Kim - who has 12-month-old daughter North with rapper Kanye - is said to be fine with Brody attending her ex-boyfriend's nuptials.
A source told the magazine: "Kim couldn't care less about Brody going to Reggie's wedding. Brody has been friends with Reggie since Kim introduced them many years ago."

Dave Bautista’s chemistry test with Chris Pratt

Dave Bautista's chemistry with Chris Pratt led to his 'Guardians of the Galaxy' role.
The professional wrestler is set to make a huge impact on the big screen as the hulking Drax the Destroyer, but Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has admitted it wasn't until he did a screen test with the movie's leading man that director James Gunn was convinced to hire him.
Speaking at a special Q&A in London on Tuesday (15.07.14), Feige said: "Chris was the reason why we cast Dave Bautista, because James was very smart and ended up doing these chemistry tests with Chris Pratt once we decided to hire him and, thankfully, he agreed to do it. And that was really what brought out Dave ... Dave had done a number of good auditions by himself up to that point, but it was really when we put the two of them together that they both came to life even more."
Bautista and Pratt are joined in the blockbuster sci-fi epic by Zoe Saldana, as well as the voices of A-listers Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel, as an unlikely intergalactic superhero team.
Feige also revealed how Pratt - who was previously best known as a slightly pudgy TV sitcom star - was self-conscious about auditioning for the part of buff superhero Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord.
He said: "Chris initially didn't want to come in because I think he felt self-conscious because his body was in 'Parks and Recreation' shape."
However, the actor stunned the producers in his auditions and Feige is confident he'll be as "iconic" as other Marvel superheroes, such as Chris Hemsworth's Thor.
He added: "The best thing for us is he's the perfect Peter Quill and will take his rightful place alongside all those other iconic Marvel actors."
'Guardians of the Galaxy' is due for release on July 31, 2014.

Amelia Lily: I’m a fresher version of Katy Perry

Amelia Lily believes she is a "younger and fresher" version of Katy Perry.
The 19-year-old singer - who came third on the 2011 series of the 'X Factor' UK - says the 'Roar' hitmaker and Pink are her two biggest music idols and she hopes to emulate their impressive pop careers.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've got musical idols - my top two would be Pink and Katy Perry and I feel like I'm kind of a younger, fresher version of them. Their music inspires me to write my own. They're my top two."
The 'You Bring Me Joy' singer was discovered on the same series of 'The X Factor' as winning act Little Mix, who have since gone on to achieve success across the world.
Amelia admits their success drives her on to do the same and top the charts in other countries as well as her native Britain.
When asked if Little Mix's achievements are an inspiration to her, she said: "It definitely inspires me. I'd love to go on to be an international success. I always said I'd like to start in the UK and then hopefully build across the globe but you know, take one step at a time.
"At the end of the day, it's all about the songs in my opinion. If you've got great songs, you can do what you wanna do - that's the way I look at it. But absolutely, I'd love to be an international success."
Amelia releases new single 'California' in August and she is confident the single will give fans a "great taste" of what she has to offer on her next album.
She said: "The song for me is just amazing because I feel like it represents where I am now in my career. It represents my brand new sound.
"For me, I think it's a great taste of what's to come on the album. And I've had a great reaction from it so I'm really pleased."
'California' comes out on August 24.

Katie Holmes dating Alexander Skarsgard?

Katie Holmes is reportedly dating Alexander Skarsgard.
The 35-year-old actress grew close to the 37-year-old star when they filmed 'The Giver' last year and they stayed in touch afterwards and are said to have enjoyed a string of secret meetings recently.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Their flirtation was one of the worst kept secrets on set. Nobody is surprised that they've been spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company."
Katie - who has eight-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise - will be able to spend even more time with the 'True Blood' star in the coming months as they will be promoting their movie.
The source added: "While it's all quite casual at the moment, they are looking forward to spending more time with one another as they promote the film, especially as they are both single."
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star - who has been romantically linked with Jamie Foxx, George Clooney and Luke Kirby since splitting from Tom two years ago - recently insisted she is too busy with her career and raising her daughter to date at the moment.
She told America's Glamour magazine: "I am really focused on motherhood and work right now."

Kendra Wilkinson won’t give up on marriage

Kendra Wilkinson doesn't want to give up on her marriage to Hank Baskett.
The 'Kendra on Top' star - whose parents divorced when she was eight years old - was devastated when her husband was recently accused of cheating on her with a transgender model, but is torn over whether to file for divorce because of their children, Hank IV., four, and Alijah, seven weeks.
A source told America's OK! magazine: "Kendra grew up in a broken home, so she always swore she'd never divorce.
"She is emotionally and financially invested in the relationship. She can't just walk away."
The 29-year-old star has been spotted without her wedding ring recently and the friend said she removed it to "make a statement" because she doesn't want her husband to think she'd take him back so easily.
It was recently revealed Kendra's marital woes will be chronicled on the next series of 'Kendra on Top'.
A spokesperson for WE TV confirmed: "We are currently in production on season 3 of 'Kendra on Top'. And yes, we are covering her reality."
Producers apparently arranged a counselling session for the ex-Playboy model and Hank so they could vent their frustrations, during which things went from bad to worse.
The insider said: "Kendra was crying and Hank was kind of being a jerk, looking very p***ed. She was talking divorce."

Lady Gaga wishes ‘hero’ Taylor Kinney a happy birthday

Lady Gaga has wished her "hero" Taylor Kinney a happy birthday.
The 'Applause' hitmaker posted a message to her boyfriend on Twitter yesterday (15.07.14) to wish him all the best on his big day as he celebrated turning 33.
She tweeted: "Happy Birthday to my darling @TaylorKinney11 he plays a hero on TV but in real life he's my Hero."
The 'Chicago Fire' actor also took to Twitter to thank his fans for their kind messages, and wished a happy birthday to anyone who happened to be celebrating their own milestone.
He wrote: "Thank you all! Lots of love ... If anyone else has a B-day today, happy happy! Here comes the sun. God bless."
While Gaga described him as her "hero", Taylor called his girlfriend an inspiration earlier this year and insisted their relationship works because they believe in each other.
He previously said: "It's someone who's always in your corner, that believes in you and your work, and vice versa.
"You know, I love what she does and her work and music and charity. She inspires so many people including myself."

Glenn Close: Mental illness isn’t shameful

Glenn Close wants mental illness to not be seen as a taboo.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actress - whose sister has bipolar disorder - has called out for people to discuss the issue more freely and realise it isn't something to be ashamed of.
She told the New York Daily News newspaper: "It is part of the human condition ... Actually, because so many people are affected by it, it is something that should be a uniting, hope-filled issue rather than something that people have always been loathed to talk about, and afraid and shamed about it."
The 67-year-old star - who is a founder of the Bring Change 2 Mind charity aiming to end the stigma surrounding mental illness - called for people to speak openly about it, given that they are likely to know someone suffering in some way.
She added: "It's really important to now be able to have open conversation about it."
She isn't the only star to open up about certain issues, and Demi Lovato has spoken about her father - who passed away on June 22, 2013 after battling cancer - and his own illness in the past.
She previously said: "My dad suffered from severe mental illness so at least there's peace in knowing he's not suffering anymore."

Jonas Brothers set for summer reunion

The Jonas Brothers are set to get back together this summer.
The 'SOS' hitmakers - made up of brothers Kevin, 26, Joe, 24, and 22-year-old Nick - are reportedly planning a reunion just nine months after they announce their split.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "The Jonas Brothers have settled their differences and are going to be reuniting by the end of this summer .... The boys are extremely close and have realized that they need each other more than they would like to believe.
"Kevin has adapted well to fatherhood, Joe is doing really well and has seemed to have beaten his demons and Nick just really wants to get back to making music."
When the three siblings announced the band's breakup in October 2013, their representative claimed there was a "deep rift within the band".
However, it is said any issues between the brothers have now been dealt with.
An insider added: "There was a lot going on with all of them at the time.
"Kevin was getting ready to have a child with his wife Danielle, Joe was dealing with some personal issues and Nick was simply feeling restless and wanted to test the waters on his own."
