Keira Knightley has no plans to swap her career in movies for music.
The actress portrays a musician in her latest movie 'Begin Again' - a romantic comedy which also stars Mark Ruffalo, James Corden and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine - but is adamant the role hasn't inspired her to make a switch into songs because she has
negligible musical talent.
Asked whether she planned to make the transition into music, she replied: "I'm the least musical person in the entire world. I wouldn't know what to do!"
Keira admits she didn't really give much thought to the singing element of the role until she was handed the lyrics and she was suddenly required to break into song.
The 29-year-old star has had to use her vocal range before, but for a very different project so she felt completely unprepared.
In an interview with London Go - on every weekday at 6.30pm on London Live - Keira revealed: "It was a much more 1940s theatrical thing, so it was completely different from this (part). This is a very different style - I'd definitely not done anything like that."
Despite being married to Klaxons musician James Righton - who unsuccessfully tried to teach her to play guitar - Keira doesn't go to many concerts or has much interest in music.
She confessed: "I know nothing about music."
KISS have promised a "double dose [of] steroids" with their Las Vegas residency.
The legendary group will perform nine shows at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from November 5, and guitarist Paul Stanley has promised the gigs will be bigger and better than anything they have done before.
He said: "Whatever you're used to with KISS, this will pump it up that much more. If KISS is on steroids, this is a double dose."
Though the 3,200-capacity venue is smaller than the group usually play, the 'Crazy Crazy Nights' hitmakers insist it won't be restricting, but instead allows them the opportunity to try new things.
Paul added to USA Today newspaper: "Usually, going into a smaller venue means eliminating things.
"The great thing about going into The Joint, it gives us the opportunity to add. Much in the same way as a Broadway show, when you have a permanent installation, you're not breaking down every night to travel. So we can do things we wouldn't normally do."
The group - which currently comprises Paul, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer - are currently on a co-headline tour with Def Leppard and while the Las Vegas shows will incorporate the "spider stage" they are currently using, it won't be the same spectacle.
Paul said: "That being said, it's not going to be that show. Here, we're in the enviable position of being able to do a KISS show that we haven't been able to do. We will pack 10 pounds of gunpowder into a 5-pound bag.
"Anybody who sees the band sees four guys reveling in the smoke and fire. Every time we hit the stage, it's a victory lap. It's a race that's never over, but it's a race that we continue to win."
Paolo Nutini wants to collaborate with Pharrell Williams.
The 'Let Me Down Easy' singer was hoping to "bump into" the 'Happy' hitmaker at the T in the Park festival over the weekend as he thinks the producer has the "Midas touch" and can do no wrong.
Talking to In:Demand radio backstage at the Scottish festival, Paolo explained: "He's the man with the Midas touch. I don't think it is as easy as just saying, 'Hey Pharrell, let's do this!'
"But I think he seems to be making more and more music. He seems a busy man just now but who knows maybe I'll bump into him. You never know."
But Pharrell isn't the only one with a hectic schedule as Paolo revealed his calendar is full at the moment.
He added: "The next few months are more shows, more festivals, gigging throughout the summer up until September... we just keep gigging.
"We're pretty much at a gig every second day ... if we even get that amount of time!"
However, Paolo insists he is going to find the time for some fun when out on the road.
He added: "When we go to LA; we've already made plans to go out and have a night in the limo. It's going to be good, it will be very Fifty Cent."
The Scotsman also opened up about how special it was to be performing in his hope nation for the festival.
He told presenter Stu Tolan: "It's a special country and everybody really raised their spirits for this festival, in every sense of the word, they go for it. There is just something about it. It can get a bit cosmic."
T in the Park will be a "voyage of discovery" for festival-goers when it moves site.
The Scottish festival's 18 years in Balado, Kinross, came to an end last night (13.07.14), and event organiser Geoff Ellis wants its new home at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire to be more like Glastonbury, with different atmospheres in different areas of the site.
He told BBC Newsbeat: "It'll have more of a boutique feel I suppose.
"It'll be a little bit like Glastonbury where you can go to Shangri-La and not spend any time anywhere else.
"There are lots of mature trees, a castle, tree lined avenues. It'll be a voyage of discovery for those going.
"We might split the fields so, for example, have one field for leftfield music and the healthy eating area."
Although he is sad to say goodbye to Kinross, Geoff is looking forward to making the move.
He said: "It's with a heavy heart that we have to leave Kinross, we've got a great relationship with the local community.
"The main thing we'll miss is the local community, residents and businesses..
"It's the end of an era but the start of a new chapter and we're looking forward to it."
Meanwhile, Scottish singer Paolo Nutini - who performed on the main stage at the weekend - thinks there will be a "whole new buzz in a whole new setting" when the festival moves.
He added: "As long as the music's good, people will take to it just the same."
Charlie Condou gets asked for autographs whilst using the toilet.
The 41-year-old actor, who plays midwife Marcus Dent on 'Coronation Street', has revealed that fans of the soap opera often ask him for his signature at inopportune times, including trips to the loo.
Charlie lamented to Attitude magazine: "I've been asked for a picture while trying to deal with my two year old having a tantrum or trying to wolf down a sandwich in my only 10 minute break.
"I've had people interrupt me on the phone or even at the urinal - seriously."
However, the actor doesn't act like a diva when approached by an excited fan and always takes a moment to chat or give them a quick autograph.
He said: "I always make time. It only takes a minute. Those people are the reason I have a job I adore."
Charlie now has some time to himself, though, as he exits 'Corrie' this week following the breakdown of Marcus' relationship with Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley).
The soap star quit his role to spend more time with his two children and his partner Cameron Laux.
'Big Brother' producers have scrapped plans to introduce Jenny Thompson into the house.
The former prostitute - who infamously had a threesome with current housemate Helen Wood and football ace Wayne Rooney - was hotly tipped to enter the famous reality TV house as a late entrant, but bosses now fear she would spark a bloodbath if she is reunited with friend-turned-rival Helen.
Three new housemates are set to join the Channel 5 show tonight (14.07.14) and Jenny will be stuck watching the action from her sofa as a singer, a stripper and a raunchy Sikh are thrown into the mix.
The news is a big blow to the 25 year old, who recently revealed that she is keen to get into the house to give Helen a piece of her mind.
She said: "I want to jump out and see her face when I tell everyone what a bullying bitch she is and how the public all hate her."
The confrontation would have made for some eye-catching TV, but producers reasoned that the bad blood could have damaged the show's reputation beyond repair.
The pair fell out in 2010 when Jenny chose to sell her story about their three-way romp with Wayne.
Christine Bleakley says her life is "dictated" by her fiancé Frank Lampard's football career.
The 35-year-old beauty, who has been engaged to the soccer ace for three years, admits she isn't sure what will happen if Frank - who left London club Chelsea FC after 13 years in June - decides to play for an international team, as has been rumoured.
She said: "The honest truth is, I can't answer that. It's something I've never, ever anticipated, if I'm honest."
The 'Dancing on Ice' and 'This Morning' co-host also explained it was a "big enough deal" to move from her native Northern Island to London, so she isn't sure she could move to another part of the world with Frank.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "We've just moved into our house [in London] and all sorts. There are so many other things behind the scenes that nobody knows about.
"Our lives are very much dictated by what Frank wants to do football-wise, so I really, really don't know. It's still very much up in the air. God only knows what's going to happen now."
Frank Grillo insists 'The Purge: Anarchy' is not a sequel.
The 'Captain America: Winter Soldier' actor stars as Sergeant in the upcoming second instalment of the horror franchise but he's claimed it will serve more as a bigger and better version of the first film, 'The Purge', rather than a sequel.
He explained: "I hadn't seen the first Purge when they called to have a meeting and I read the script and thought it was genius.
"I said, 'Wow. This is a great idea and it can go in so many different directions'. And then I saw the first one and I could understand why people were pissed [off], because they [the characters] were just bound to this house...
"This is not really a sequel. It's a standalone film that basically takes the premise on a grand scope that should have been done in the first one."
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old star has also spoken out about people referring to the idea of the films - where all crimes are made legal for just 12 hours once a year - as ridiculous.
He told Collider: "So many things are ridiculous. I mean there are posters for 'Transformers' with dinosaur robots. It's all ridiculous isn't it? But at the end of the day it's also entertaining."
'The Purge: Anarchy' is set for release on July 25, 2014.
