Kate Upton has always wanted a curvaceous figure.
The 'Other Woman' star, 22, admits she "begged" for a shapely body when she first started modelling and was overjoyed when people started praising her sexy shape.
Speaking to the UK's ELLE magazine, she said: "When I first started modelling, I was a normal catalogue model. Then, I became a woman and I was really excited about becoming a woman.
"Because I'm from Florida, it's all about being in bathing suits. It's a different view of beauty there. You are ugly if you don't have a curvy body. And I didn't have one, and then I got one, and thought, 'Yessss!'
"And then people say, 'Oh, wow, you're healthy.' And you're like, 'Wait, what? I've been begging for this body my whole life!' "
However, the Sports Illustrated model previously admitted she found it difficult when she first started going for auditions for films because agents weren't sure if her hourglass figure was right for the big screen.
She said: "It's weird that in the press they'll be like, 'Your biggest fight was with the industry and the designers', and I'm like, no, my biggest fight was with my agents, trying to get them to sign me into the castings.
"I thought, how I'm going to come out of this will be an example for girls."

Jenny McCarthy's son called the police on her.
The former Playboy model admits Evan, 12 - whom she has with ex-husband John Asher - once reported her for texting on her phone whilst she was driving.
Speaking on Sirius radio show 'Dirty Sexy Funny', she recalled the experience: "We're driving in the car and of course I text and drive. He called the police on me and said, 'My mom is texting and driving right now.' "
To avoid getting in trouble with the law, the 41-year-old star quickly grabbed her son's phone and launched it out of the window.
However, this isn't the first time Evan has called the police about his mother as he also rung them when she once sneaked out of the house for a cigarette and he became anxious about her whereabouts.
She explained: "He called 911 and said, 'I am alone in the house. My mom abandoned me.' I go back in the house and it's 911 and they're like, 'Your child just called. Is there an emergency?' I'm like, 'What? No!"
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty - who engaged to Donnie Wahlberg - recently left Evan "horrified" after she had the "birds and the bees" talk with him.
She said previously: "It was difficult ... but being the kind of single mom I've been, I've had to wear two hats and I'm proud to say that Evan will never be having sex for the rest of his life after my conversation."

Jennifer Lopez "danced all night long" at her 45th birthday bash in the Hamptons last night (24.07.14).
The 'I Luh Ya Papi' hitmaker spent the duration of her party on the dance floor at Nammos, a Mediterranean restaurant, in New York celebrating her milestone with her friends - including Khloé Kardashian, French Montana, Scott Disick and Rachel Zoe - and family.
A source told PEOPLE.com: "She was so happy and she stayed till 4 am. They had a dinner party and there was champagne, and she danced all night long. Everybody was dancing."
The brunette beauty - who has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony - posted a picture of herself all dressed up for her party on Instagram yesterday evening, which she accompanied with the caption: "Let the games begin! #itsmyparty #funtimes #birthdaygirl #aintnuthingbutanumber (sic)."
Meanwhile, Jennifer's ex-boyfriend Casper Smart, whom she split from a few months ago following two years of dating, proved they're still friends after he sent her a birthday message on Twitter yesterday.
The choreographer posted a picture of a pink bear cake, which he had given Jennifer for her 43rd birthday two years ago, and accompanied it with the caption: "Happppppppy Birthday to the most Beautiful lil bear in the world!!!! May all your wishes come true!! @JLo (sic)."

Scott Disick reportedly won't drink alcohol until after the birth of his third child later this year.
The 31-year-old reality TV star - the long-time partner of Kourtney Kardashian - is determined to stay sober after he was hospitalised for alcohol poisoning on June 22 following a heavy night of drinking in New York.
A source told Us Magazine: "He stopped drinking [and went] cold turkey and promised he won't drink again until after Kourtney gives birth."
However, the hunky star has sparked rumours he has already broken his promise after he was photographed clutching an empty wine glass at Jennifer Lopez' 45th birthday bash in New York, last night (24.07.14).
Meanwhile, it is believed Scott's excessive boozing stems from the difficult period he's had recently after losing both of his parents earlier this year.
However, Kourtney - with whom he already has daughter Penelope, two, and son Mason, four - has reportedly warned him she won't put up with his erratic behaviour anymore and he's on his last chance.
The source explained: "[Kourtney] told him that was the last straw."
The couple began dating prior to 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' in 2007, but they broke up in early 2010 after Kourtney, 35, believed Scott had an alcohol problem.
The businessman attended regular therapy sessions and temporarily gave up alcohol, which led to them reconciling in mid 2010.

Michael Jackson's daughter has been advised by doctors to reconnect with her family.
Paris, 16, has reportedly become estranged from her relatives following her attempted suicide last June and medical professionals believe she'll find it beneficial if she re-establishes her relationship with them.
A source told TMZ.com: "The doctors who have been treating Paris have told her she needs to create a family support system. She's become estranged from her entire family."
The troubled star - who has grown close to her biological mother Debbie Rowe - has spent almost a year at therapeutic boarding school Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah, but doctors think her mental health will continue to improve if she rekindles her bond with her grandmother Katherine Jackson, her brother Prince, 17, and her half-brother Blanket, 12.
The source explained: "Doctors want her to mend fences with Katherine, her siblings and other immediate family ... they think it's important to her healing."
The actress was given the all-clear from doctors in May and is reportedly adamant she won't return to the $14,000-per-month private school in the Autumn.
However, Katherine - who is a co-guardian to Michael's three children alongside T.J. Jackson - doesn't think that's a very good idea and thinks she should return.

Khloé Kardashian and French Montana are not having sex due to his Islamic beliefs.
The 30-year-old star admits she and her beau are abstaining from getting physical in the bedroom during the month of Ramadan out of respect of his religion.
Speaking on Angie Martinez's Power 105 radio show yesterday (24.07.14), the brunette beauty said: "There's no sex during Ramadan. That's so fun."
The 29-year-old rapper has also given up alcohol and is fasting during daylight hours as required of him during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
Meanwhile, the hunk - who has been dating the reality TV star since April - has shot down rumours Khloé's mother Kris Jenner disapproves of their new romance.
He said: "Me and Kris Jenner are best friends. We drink together."
French is smitten with Khloé - who filed for divorce from her husband of four years Lamar Odom in December following revelations he cheated on her - and is reportedly planning to propose to her in the near future.
A source said previously: "He has started to look at rings. French knows she's the one for him. They've discussed their future and she's said she would marry him. If he got his way, French would propose soon, and they would marry by the end of the year.
"So Khloé is going to try to push her divorce through as soon as possible."

Jared Padalecki is "violently protective" of family time.
The 32-year-old actor admits, despite his busy career, he always makes sure he sets some time aside for his sons Thomas, two, and Shepherd, seven months.
Speaking to PEOPLE.com, he said: "I am violently protective of my - I call it - off time when I'm not working. I'm straight home and whether they're in Vancouver or they're in Seattle or wherever we happen to be I'm straight to them. The other night I worked from 8 am until 8 pm in Vancouver and got an overnight flight to Houston. It got me home at 8 am and, you know what, I was there with my kids and I took a nap when they napped. I do it whenever I can."
However, the hunky star insists his children still get to see him when he's not at home as his wife Genevieve will put on the television series 'Supernatural', which he's currently starring in as Sam Winchester.
He explained: "You know what's funny? My wife will put 'Supernatural' on and they're too young to know what's going on but she'll put it on when either I'm at work or I'm out of town so they can see their dad."
Meanwhile, Jared - who married Genevieve in 2010 - hopes his sons grow up to have a similar relationship to him and his brother.
He said: "I am a younger brother and I love him and we were best men in each other's weddings. [I] want them to be there for each other."

Kris Jenner cries herself to sleep.
The 58-year-old matriarch admits she falls asleep weeping over her son Rob Kardashian, 27, after he plunged into depression following his weight gain.
Speaking to her daughter Kim, 33, in a preview of Sunday's (27.07.14) episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', Kris said: "I want to fix Rob and sometimes you just can't. I have not not cried myself to sleep in so long that I don't even know what that's like. It's the worst feeling in the world when one of your kids isn't in a good place."
However, Kim - who has 13-month-old daughter North with her husband Kanye West - insists she doesn't feel sorry for her younger brother and thinks he needs to stop moping and do something to improve the situation.
She said in the last episode of the reality TV show after Rob failed to attend a family vacation to Thailand: "We've all been here to offer him help and he won't take it, so I don't have sympathy."
She then turned to the camera and explained: "I think I'm just more of the tough love kind of person. My personality is like, 'All right, you complain, you don't like it, get up and do something about it.' "
Rob has reportedly been distant from his relatives since he refused to attend Kim and Kanye's wedding in May following a huge family bust-up.

Shane Warne claims Elizabeth Hurley moved on "quickly" after they split.
The Australian cricketing legend got engaged to the 'Bedazzled' star in 2011 but they split up late last year and the former sportsman - who is now dating DJ Emily Scott - insists it didn't take his ex-fiancee to find someone new.
He said: "I think she was dating someone pretty quickly after me."
However, Shane, 44, insists he has no hard feelings towards the 48-year-old actress - who has a 12-year-old son, Damian, with former boyfriend Steve Bing - and they remain good friends.
Asked on Australia's Kiis FM by Kyle Sandilands if he got in touch with Elizabeth about her moving on so quickly, he laughed and said: "I didn't take her to the kindergarten playground, Kyle, no [I behaved maturely].
"We're still good friends and all that sort of stuff. I'm in a relationship now and it's all cool and I'm pretty happy."

Justin Theroux has a crush on Debbie Harry.
The 42-year-old actor - who is engaged to 'We're the Millers' star Jennifer Aniston - first developed a soft spot for the "gorgeous" Blondie singer, 69, when he saw her picture on the cover of a cassette as a teenager.
Quizzed on whether he'd had a crush on any celebrities when he was younger, Justin said: "Debbie Harry was a big one for me. Yeah, Debbie Harry from Blondie.
"I remember my uncle actually had a cassette of hers in the car and I was like, 'Who is this?' I hadn't even heard her music and I was like, 'This person is special'."
Justin - who is currently starring in HBO TV series 'The Leftovers' - confessed it was a dream come true when he finally came face-to-face with his dream woman at an event a recently.

The 'Wanderlust' star also spoke about the time he spent living in Tokyo, Japan, where he worked at a circus as an "assistant manager" on a snow-cone stall.
Commenting on whether he felt as though his life was a circus, he said: "It is like a circus ... Well, it's not that much ... I mean, I worked at the circus before but it's not that bad.
"I went there [Japan] to make some money for college, for a summer job or whatever ... I ended up getting a job as sort of an assistant managerial position selling snow cones."

Dakota Johnson was seen kissing her rumoured boyfriend Matthew Hitt.
The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actress has been photographed embracing the Welsh musician as they enjoyed a romantic stroll in New York on Wednesday (23.07.14).
According to eye-witnesses who spoke to E! News, the couple "looked very cosy with one another".
Another revealed that they looked "happy and in love."
The 24-year-old actress looked beautiful in a mid-length printed dress, which she accessorised with a black satchel and tortoise shell sunglasses. Her beau looked similarly chic in black skinny jeans and a tight-fitting black denim jacket.
The recent photos of Dakota embracing her new man suggest that she has officially broken up with Jordan Masterson.
Jordan was first romantically linked to the brunette in September 2013 and would regularly visit Dakota whilst she was on set filming scenes for 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
Meanwhile, Dakota has admitted she was a little anxious to see how people reacted to the trailer, which was released on Thursday (24.07.14).

Daniel Radcliffe wants lots of children.
The 'Harry Potter' actor is an only child and would love to have a huge family himself some day although he admitted it will be up to his partner as she will be the one who has to carry them.
Daniel, 25, who is currently dating Erin Darke, told PEOPLE: "Maybe because I'm an only child, I love the idea of lots of kids. But it will depend to a larger part on who I end up having kids with. I think men would be a lot less excited about having kids if we had to actually do it!"
Meanwhile, Daniel revealed his parents have kept him grounded despite him shooting to fame as a child, by reminding him of how lucky he is.
He explained: "I'd come whine about something that happened on the set, and my dad would say, 'You're not down in a coal mine.' It's a very good way of putting things into perspective."
The 'Woman in Black' actor recently admitted he thinks he is "getting better" at sex, though he insists losing his virginity wasn't a bad experience.
He said: "I'm one of the few people who seem to have had a really good first time.
"It was with somebody I'd gotten to know well. I'm happy to say I've had a lot better sex since then.
"But it wasn't as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other people's were, like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge.
"For some people sex might be better drunk. But for me and the person I'm doing it with it's much better sober."
