Sandra Bullock was horrified when her bag went missing on a recent night out.
The 50-year-old actress reportedly started cursing and screaming when she realised her clutch bag had disappeared from her table while dining in West Hollywood.
A source said: "She screamed, 'Where's my purse?' and screamed 'Oh f**k, what did I do with my purse?'
"Sandra's dinner guests went into a tizzy and immediately started searching the booth they were sitting in and on the floor underneath it.
"The manager came running in and joined them in the search as he tried to calm the distraught star."
However, the whole debacle was quickly smoothed over when an apologetic staff member realised he had mistakenly taken the tiny clutch from the table as he cleared it.
The witness explained: "The guy explained that when he cleared the table and removed the soiled tablecloth he hadn't seen the tiny cocktail purse so it got rolled up and thrown into the dirty linen basket."
And Sandra was so relieved that she even tipped him.
The source told National Enquirer magazine: "Sandra incredibly relieved, told the frazzled busboy not to worry about it - then she opened her bag, retrieved two $20 bills and tipped him."

'The Great British Bake Off' star has revealed he often goes out drinking with his fellow judge, Mary, 79, after a long day of filming the hit BBC cooking show.
He told new! magazine: "When we do 'Bake Off' it's so chilled. It's quite relaxing. It is long hours and a very long day but we go out and get drunk together."
However, the 48-year-old star insists they doesn't socialise with the contestants outside of filming to avoid favouritism.
But the pair do send the show's co-hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins to to provide words of support to the hopefuls.
He explained: "We stay in different hotels. I'm there to judge what is on the plate. I'm not there to chat.
"I'm constructive. I will tell them how to do it and make it if I feel it could have been done better."
Mary added: "There's no favouritism. We're are there to judge. If a baker is having problems, we'll sometimes send Mel and Sue over to comfort them. We can't tell them what to do."

Zoe Saldana has a "huge amount of respect" for Britney Spears.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actress, 36 - who starred with the blonde beauty in the 2002 movie 'Crossroads' - has praised the 32-year-old singer's "humble" attitude.
Speaking on 'Watch What Happens Live', she told Andy Cohen: "She was the one big, big celebrity that I met when I was starting to work in Hollywood who literally was humble. I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she's definitely an abundance of that."
The brunette beauty also jumped to Britney's defence after a caller asked her what she thought of the recent leaked version of her track 'Alien' without auto-tune.
She said of the leak: "That's mean.
"I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists would be mortified if they were caught singing without auto-tune. She was the only pop star at that time - and I can name a lot of prominent figures right now that today are more famous than Britney - that literally got to where they were at by hating on Britney a lot.
"Because it was cool at one time to really just diss her. And Britney never did that."

Megan Fox doesn't feel "ashamed" baring her body for movie roles.
The 28-year-old actress is no stranger to flashing the flesh onscreen but she admits she doesn't mind showing off her figure because it's "part of" the job.
Speaking at the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle' press conference in Los Angeles, she is quoted by toofab.com as saying: "I don't mind doing that stuff, I think that's been a part of being an actress in Hollywood since the beginning.
"I don't feel ashamed or like I can't be taken seriously while also wearing a tank top. If you don't take me seriously when I'm wearing a tank top, that's your f**king problem."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty - who has two children 22-month-old son Noah and Bodhi, five months, with husband Brian Austin Green - admits she's had to cut out bread to help her get back to her pre-baby figure.
She explained: "Well, let me tell you, the first time [I gave birth] I didn't do anything, I was just lucky and I was younger, and then the second time it wasn't coming off the same way and I had to eliminate bread from my diet. It's typical but I'm on that high-protein, low-carbohydrate, very low-sugar diet.
"It's kind of awful but it's what I'm doing."

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary by eating "a lot" of food.
The 'Modern Family' star and his spouse Justin Mikita - who got married last July - spent their romantic occasion gorging on delicious dinners.
Speaking to PEOPLE.com, Jesse said: "We made a few reservations and we had a chef come over to our house on our actual wedding anniversary and cook us something. So we ate a lot."

Becca Tobin has thanked her fans for their "love and support" following her boyfriend's sudden death.
The 'Glee' actress has spoken publicly for the first time since her beau Matt Bendik was found dead in his hotel room at Philadelphia's Hotel Monaco last month.
She posted a picture of her cuddling up to Matt on her Instagram account today (02.08.14), which she accompanied with the caption: "Thank you all for he love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever."
Matt's cause of death is currently unknown, but an incident report taken by a detective at the scene stated no drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, medication or weapons were located in his hotel room, and his body did not appear to have suffered any physical harm.
Becca - who plays Kitty Wilde in the musical TV series - had joined her beau on the business trip, but it is currently unclear where she was when the 35-year-old nightclub owner's body was found by a maid.
Matt's death happened just before the first anniversary of Cory Monteith's death, who died from a heroin and alcohol overdose in Vancouver, Canada, last June.
Matt ran several major clubs around the US and was Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub in Los Angeles.
The nightspot posted a tribute to Matt outside the venue following his death, with a board reading: "We love you Matt."

Mike Smith has died aged 59.
The former BBC Radio 1 DJ passed away in hospital on Friday (01.08.14) after suffering from complications following major heart surgery, his aerial filming company, Flying TV, has confirmed.
Sarah Greene, his wife of 25 years, has thanked the hospital staff who treated her husband for their care and compassion, and has now asked that her family and friends be allowed to grieve in peace.
A Flying TV spokesman added: "Mike founded Flying TV ten years ago and the company says his legacy will be FTV continuing to go from strength to strength."
Noel Edmonds, who worked with Mike on the 'Late, Late Breakfast Show' said in a statement: "I am totally stunned and heartbroken for Sarah and his family.
"He was so much more than simply a presenter. Mike was that rare individual - the consummate broadcaster in an era when professionalism, dedication and hard work were truly valued."
Aled Jones took to his Twitter account this evening to pay tribute to Mike, tweeting: "So shocked and very sad to hear of the passing of Mike Smith - a really fantastic guy. Love and thoughts to Sarah x (sic)."
While, 'This Morning' host Phillip Schofield posted: "There are no words. My wonderful, bright, funny thoughtful friend Mike Smith has passed away. @RealSarahGreene I'm so so sorry my darling."
Mike spent six years at BBC Radio 1 between 1982 and 1988, and during that time was also a presenter on 'Top of the Pops' and hosted 'Live Aid.'

Khloé Kardashian is reportedly worried about French Montana's regular partying.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star, 30, is concerned that her boyfriend's social life is starting to threaten their four-month relationship.

The source explained: "[Kris] thinks [Khloé] needs to be single because she worries that Khloé just got out of a marriage."
However, the Khloé, who began dating French in April after being introduced through mutual friend Diddy - recently defended her new relationship.
She said previously: "People are gonna comment no matter what. If I dated the most clean-cut, perfect guy they're gonna comment. So if I'm having fun and dating this kid...they're not f**king him, so why should they care?"
The stunning star also claimed there's a softer side to her beau that no-one has seen before.
She said: "He puts out more of the tough exterior, that's who he is. But there's also a different side of him. He could be a softie sometimes. [But] I've learned from my past that you've gotta keep some things more private and a little more close to your heart."

Justin Bieber reportedly banned Orlando Bloom from a star-studded party in Ibiza last night (01.08.14).
The 37-year-old hunk was allegedly refused entry into the birthday bash for Givenchy fashion designer Riccardo Tisci after the 20-year-old singer ordered his entourage to stop him from entering the celebration.
An insider told the New York Post's Page Six column: "Bloom was on the way as a late arrival, but when he got to the starry bash, Bieber, who was already inside, had his entourage insist organisers keep Bloom out."
The 'Baby' hitmaker then continued to party inside the Spanish venue along with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kendall Jenner, Jared Leto and Kate Moss, while Orlando was forced to leave the area.
The snub follows an altercation involving the 'Lord of the Rings' actor and Justin at the upmarket eatery Cipriani earlier this week.
Orlando reportedly swung a punch at the troubled star - who was rumoured to have slept with his then-wife Miranda Kerr almost two years ago - after Justin reportedly told him, "Say hi to Miranda for me."
Miranda's lawyer previously insisted that rumours she cheated on Orlando, with whom she has three-year-old son Flynn, with Justin after the Victoria's Secret fashion show in 2012 were "false and defamatory."

Nick Jonas' brothers kept calling him the "Hulk" after he gained 15 lbs.
The 21-year-old hunk piled on the pounds for his MMA fighter role in the new drama 'Kingdom' and he admits his siblings Kevin, 26, Joe, 24, and Frankie, 13, kept comparing him to the green fictional superhero.
Speaking to E! News, he said: "I gained about 15 pounds of muscle for the role ... I really wanted to look like an animal who internalises a lot, but when he's in the cage and he's fighting that's when you see this kind of animalistic mentality that he has.
"[My brothers] were calling me the Hulk and they were poking fun at me a little bit."
Nick has now lost over half of the weight he gained for the part, but is still working out a few times a week.
He explained: "The bulky muscle guy was probably good for a month or two, but I feel better where I'm at now. I started to include more fun activities instead of just going to the gym all the time.
"So it's a ton of different sports that I play and traditional workout stuff. I work out with a great trainer and he has a great gym. We do sort of circuit training and strength and conditioning."
Nick, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes nine years ago, has also realised the importance of nutrition.
He added: "I really got into living a really healthy lifestyle and physical fitness last year.
"I saw pretty quickly how it improved my health and the diabetes. I've stuck with it."

Jason Derulo knew Jordin Sparks was The One "pretty early on" in their relationship.
The 'Talk Dirty' hitmaker was determined to have the 24-year-old singer romantically involved in his life long-term after he broke one of his vertebrae in 2012.
Asked when he realised she was his match, he replied: "I knew that pretty early on. I felt that when I was in the hospital with my neck injury. I felt different ... I felt like I needed her in my world."
The loved-up couple, who have been dating for two years, admits it can be hard having a relationship in the public eye but insists they manage it well.
He explained to E! News: "You know, of course we have our problems just like anybody else. But our relationship is a positive one and that's good for people to see in today's entertainment industry."
The hunk believes the secret to their successful romance is their love of food and opposite personalities, which makes their relationship "fun."
