Penelope Cruz enjoys swimming with sharks

Penelope Cruz loves swimming with sharks.
The 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' actress - who has children Leo, three, and Luna, 11 months, with husband Javier Bardem - enjoys watching the sea creatures when she goes scuba diving, but insists she isn't "crazy" enough to get up close to the biggest and most dangerous of the species out of a contained environment.
Asked what every woman should try at least once, she said: "Scuba diving--with sharks. I've done it in the Caribbean and Brazil. I think they were lemon sharks or reef sharks. If I ever do it with a great white shark, it will be in a cage. I'm not crazy."
While the 40-year-old beauty loves scuba diving, her favourite holidays enjoy being lazy on a beach.
She said: "I like anytime I'm on the beach, in the sun, lying on the sand."
And despite getting to travel the world with her work, Penelope still has a list of places she is desperate to visit.
She said: "I would love to visit Patagonia, and then I would go to the Amazon, because I've never been."
The 'Nine' actress was left devastated when a ring she was given by her grandmother was stolen, as she had previously taken it everywhere with her and even insisted on wearing it while shooting movies.
Asked the best gift she's been given, she told America's Marie Claire magazine: "A ring my grandmother gave me. I had it for years, but it was stolen. I did many movies in which it was part of my character's costume."

Lea Michele dated Matthew Morrison

Lea Michele dated Matthew Morrison.
The 27-year-old actress - who denied being romantically involved with her 'Glee' co-star in the past - has finally confessed that the pair dated in her new book 'Brunette Ambition'.
However, Lea - who was in a relationship with her late co-star Cory Monteith from late 2011 until he passed away form an alcohol and heroin overdose in July 2013 - insists she dated Matthew, 35, long before they began working together on the set of 'Glee'.
She wrote: "When we shot the pilot [for 'Glee'], I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."
Lea - who plays Rachel Berry on the hit FOX TV show - denied rumours she was involved with Matthew as they filmed the first series of 'Glee' in 2010, claiming the pair enjoyed a "close" friendship instead.
She said at the time: "I've known Matt for years. He's been a friend of mine from New York. People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close."
Addressing the same rumours, Matthew previously said: "We were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist [about Lea], and [Lea] got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, 'What the f--k?' It's so laughable."

Lionel Richie: Michael Jackson hologram was ‘freaky’

Lionel Richie was left "uneasy" by Michael Jackson's hologram performance.
The 'Easy' hitmaker admits he was "freaked out" after seeing the virtual likeness of his late friend - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - perform at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday (18.05.14) because it was so realistic.
He said: "It was freaky. I must tell you it freaked me out because it's Mike. I have to tell you it was brilliantly done, but it just made me a little uneasy because it was just... I keep waiting for him and then I realize that is him but it's not him.
"It's a little bit over the top for me."
The 64-year-old crooner admitted he didn't enjoy the performance because it interfered with his own memories of the 'Thriller' star.
Asked on 'Access Hollywood' if he would rather remember Michael the way he was, Lionel replied: "Yeah, let me have Mike the way I... you know, it was..."
While Lionel was unimpressed by the performance, Michael's brother Jackie Jackson claims his late sibling would have given it a "thumbs up" and says he found it "beautiful".
He said: "Beautiful, unbelievable. I thought he was there for real. I got teary eyed a little bit."

Sean Connery told to ditch accent in early career

Sean Connery was urged to ditch his accent at the beginning of his career.
The Scottish actor was told his accent was "off-putting" by producer
Alvin Rakoff who worked on 1950s' TV drama 'Requiem for a Heavyweight' where the Hollywood legend starred as Harlan McClintock.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I met Sean in his 20s. He had the looks but I couldn't see him as a star. We thought his accent was distracting -- how wrong we were."
The 83-year-old star is best known for portraying James Bond and starred in seven films about the secret agent between 1962 and 1983. Following a string of successful hits he confirmed his retirement
after receiving the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award on 8 June, 2006.
Since then he's taken on a few projects, mostly voice work.
In 2005 he recorded voiceovers for a new video game version of his Bond film 'From Russia with Love' and has lent his voice to the titular character in 2012's animation 'Sir Billi the Vet'.

Rita Ora wanted to name her album ‘Hymen’

Rita Ora wanted to name her album Hymen.
The 23-year-old singer - who is set to release her second studio album in September this year - was planning to name it after a mythical goddess of love and even considered 'Hymen', the Greek god of weddings and wedding songs, for the title.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I looked at calling it Hymen, that's a good one but probably not the best. It will be named after a love goddess but not Aphrodite or Venus, you'll have to wait and see."
Rita - who duets with DJ Mustard, Diplo, Mackelmore and the legendary Prince on the new album - admitted she was in awe of the 'Purple Rain' singer when they worked on a "sexy" track together, named 'Champagne Kisses'.
She said: "He's amazing, he's almost mythical. He's one of the very few legends we have left.
"He has made amazing sex anthems in the past. But our track is not obviously sexy, it's more like, 'What could that really mean?'"
She added: "I feel like he was born to send people amazing sounds. I'm all good now I've worked with him."
While Rita's lead single 'I Will Never Let You Down' has already topped the UK singles chart, she revealed she is yet to put the finishing touches to the album's final cut.
She said: "It's not finished yet. I keep going back and forth. I started it around Glastonbury last year. I find I have to go in there and rumble through the dirt before I find the gold, so I'll just keep going.
"It won't be finished until I have to send it off to the factory."

Janelle Monáe is "devastated" she has had to cancel her Australian tour due to illness.
The 'Electric Lady' singer, who was set to perform a number of dates on her Australian and New Zealand leg of her 'Golden Electric Tour', had been advised by doctors to scrap the gigs and rest.
According to Billboard, a statement issued by promoters, Live Nation Australasia, said: "It has been confirmed that the remainder of the Golden Electric tour has been cancelled and there will be no rescheduled performances.

Sam Smith and Disclosure team up for film

Sam Smith and Disclosure have teamed up with Beats by Dr Dre to create a new film.
The stars - who released the Top 20 song 'Latch' - have worked on a short film to tell the story of how the track was written and became a chart hit, propelling the artists to international fame.
In the video, Disclosure gush about Sam's vocal range and joke: "I was still fully expecting Sam to be a Samantha and he was like a big female singer. He has a voice of an angel."
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter said he comes from a "whole different world of music" and admits he had no idea what electronic music was before he started working with artists like Disclosure - made up of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence.
He explained: "I grew up listening to these classic [love] songs and they've been lost from the radio for so long, I feel like we're bringing it back."
The promo, which has already had more than 54,000 views on YouTube, is the second part of the Beat by Beat series which was launched with dance act Rudimental earlier this year, which goes behind the beat and demonstrates how some of the world's biggest artists create their tracks.
Meanwhile, Sam has embarked on a north American tour this month, playing at venues in Toronto, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco and more.

Prince Charles compares Putin to Hitler?

Britain's Prince Charles has reportedly likened Vladimir Putin to Adolf Hitler.
The Prince of Wales is currently on a four-day tour of Canada and while meeting with members of the public at a reception for World War II veterans and their families at the Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax, Nova Scotia he is said to have made the comparison between the Russian president and the late German dictator.
Speaking to Marienne Ferguson - a museum volunteer who fled to Canada with her Jewish family when she was 13-years-old - he reportedly said: "And now Putin is doing just about the same as Hitler."
The 65-year-old royal is scheduled to meet Putin at the D-Day commemorations in France on June 6, but Mrs. Ferguson claims she agrees with the comments he made about Putin and the Nazi leader, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
She said: "I had finished showing him the exhibit and talked with him about my own family background and how I came to Canada.
"The prince then said 'And now Putin is doing just about the same as Hitler'."
"I must say that I agree with him and am sure a lot of people do. I was very surprised that he made the comment as I know they [members of the royal family] aren't meant to say these things but it was very heartfelt and honest."
In addition to his reported comment, Charles also made a public speech commending Canada for its contribution to the allied victory in the Second World War.

Marvin Humes wants wife on The Voice

Marvin Humes wants his wife Rochelle to become a judge on 'The Voice'.
The former JLS singer hosts the BBC One talent show alongside Emma Willis and has admitted now that Kylie Minogue has confirmed she won't be returning to her role as a mentor next year, he thinks his The Saturdays star wife would be the perfect replacement.
He said: "It would be great if she was asked to be a coach on The Voice, although she is very busy with the girls.
"It is going to be hard to replace Kylie, she is such a legend."
The couple - who have 12-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai together - have completed a number of presenting stints on ITV daytime show 'This Morning' and are set to return next week.
Marvin told The Sun newspaper: "We are back on This Morning at the end of the month and we have had a great experience doing that.
"We have only done three so far so it is not like we are working together all the time.
"Rochelle thinks she is the boss but she is not at all. She knows who is in charge!"
As well as wanting his wife to join 'The Voice' line-up, Marvin is also hoping he and Emma will be asked to return next year, but is worried that Kylie's departure and Kaiser Chief's frontman Ricky Wilson's threats to follow suit may result in another shake-up.
He added: "Change is inevitable with these shows. Look at when Kylie and Ricky came in."

Angelina Jolie’s kids loved movie with Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children loved seeing them "play fight" on the big screen.
The 'Maleficent' star has revealed her kids - Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - recently watched the couple's 2005 spy movie 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', in which they play super-spy spouses who are both tasked with killing the other, and found it hilarious.
She told E! News: "I mean, our kids did watch - finally - 'Mr. and Mrs. for one of the first times like last year, and they thought it was the funniest they'd ever. Of course, seeing your own parents try to kill each other is ... for a child, it's like watching your parents play fight. It was very funny for them."
There could be more laughs ahead for the brood as Angelina, 38, recently revealed she and Brad, 50, are planning to reunite on the silver screen soon - 10 years after they worked together on 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', which sparked their romance.
She said: "I wrote something a few years ago for Brad and me. Just for fun.
"Just an independent little art piece. Because we don't get to do those as much as we'd like. But it's something really small and experimental."
