Duchess Catherine too busy for Sarah Parker-Bowles style chat

Britain's Duchess Catherine has "more important things to think about" than what Tom Parker-Bowles' wife is wearing.
Sara Parker-Bowles admits she has spoken to the Duchess of Cambridge - who has 12-month-old son Prince George with husband Prince William - on occasions about fashion, but worrying about the fashion editor's style isn't at the top of the "endearing" brunette's to do list.
She said: "We've talked about designers we admire in the past and she's always very complimentary about what I wear but, clearly, she feels she's got more important things to think about - and that's what makes her so endearing."
Sara tied the knot with Tom in September 2005 and she insists her mother-in-law, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is very down to earth and everyone inside Clarence House is "very welcoming".
She said: "Recently, Tom's mother took me and my sister-in-law, Laura, and the kids to see The Lion King, and then we just went back to have tea at Clarence House. They're completely relaxed, the whole network of people who work in the household team are very welcoming.
"Tom's mother is just not a very formal person."
Sara and Tom tied the knot after five years of dating but she admits she had "quite a few panic attacks" prior to her big day because as well as being the bride, there was added press attention.
She added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I definitely had quite a few panic attacks before the day. It's lovely to have all of that attention, but having everybody dissecting what you look like, what you're wearing - it's quite a strange thing."
But the fashion editor insists the paparazzi are no longer interested in the couple and their children, Lola, six, and four-year-old Freddy, because they are a "boring" family.
She said: "I think we're just too boring for them now! Once you settle down and have kids, the focus switches."

Princess Diana’s former chef slams grave ‘neglect’

Princess Diana's former chef has slammed her brother Earl Spencer, claiming the late royal's resting place has been "neglected".
Darren McGrady took to Twitter to post several pictures of the small island at Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, on which there is a memorial to Diana - who was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997 - and called for the vegetation surrounding the land mass to be cleared up.
In a series of posts, which showed the lake surrounding her grave covered in algae, Darren - who also cooked for Queen Elizabeth - wrote: "If I cared for Princess Diana in life as you are doing in death I would have been fired.
"Please tidy up the vegetation on the island.
"Made me so sad to see how Althorp Estate has neglected Princess Diana's resting place."
But Althorp bosses insist Earl takes his responsibility of looking after the gravesite "extremely seriously" and blamed the recent hot temperatures for the algae growing particularly quickly.
A spokesman from the Althorp Estate told MailOnline: "Algae is an unsightly problem for many lakes in the summer months.
"Althorp employs contractors to deal with what is a highly invasive and fast-growing weed on a regular basis, and the Althorp gardeners also tackle it as part of their summer programme - the exceptional temperatures of this summer have made the task of keeping it entirely under control extremely difficult."

Joe Jonas celebrates birthday with ‘world’s smallest stripper’

Joe Jonas celebrated his 25th birthday with "the world's smallest stripper".
The pop star, who celebrated the landmark on Friday (15.08.14) spent the day at Beacher's Madhouse inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where he was seen receiving a lapdance from Little Spinner, who is known as "the world's smallest stripper".
Joe was also serenaded by another performer, known as Mini Miley Cyrus.
The handsome singer was seen on stage with the two dancers gyrating around him.
Joe was joined for his birthday celebrations by brother Nick, as well as his Miss Universe girlfriend Olivia Culpo.
Nick's presence furthers his recent claim that there is no bad blood between him and his brothers.
Nick, 21, was part of The Jonas Brothers band and he says his brothers, Kevin and Joe, have been "very supportive" of his solo career.
Reflecting on their reaction to his new single 'Chains', Nick said: "They heard it before everyone else did. They loved it. They were really positive. It was great to feel that from them. They all have their things going on as well."

Katie Price unveils baby online

Katie Price has unveiled her baby daughter online.
The former glamour model gave birth to the latest member of her family - her fifth child and second with husband Kieran Hayler - two weeks prematurely, and has taken to her popular YouGossip page to post a black and white photo of her adorable newborn, whose name she is still yet to reveal.
Alongside the image of her new child, Katie posted: "Sooo cute (sic)."
Katie, 36, gave birth on August 4, since when she has been teasing her fans by posting shots of the baby's hands and feet.
This time, though, she went the whole way and posted a picture of the peaceful-looking child wrapped in a blanket.
The picture prompted a warm reacted from fans, with one poster saying: "Lovely.just soo sweet.congratulations:) (sic)."
Meanwhile, Katie could be set to enter the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
She is said to have originally planned to take part in the upcoming series, which starts tonight (18.08.14), but had to withdraw because of her pregnancy.
However, she's now said to be in talks to appear in the next series, which will take place in January.

Naughty Boy writes 1D track with Emeli Sandé

Naughty Boy and Emeli Sandé have written a song with One Direction for their next album.
The producer has been working with the boys on music for their hotly-anticipated new LP and he drafted in pal Emeli - who he worked with on her acclaimed debut record 'Our Version of Events' - to help out on the track 'One Chance To Dance', which could be the next 1D single.
He told The Sun newspaper: "We wrote it with Emeli Sandé and it's a real progression for them. I've been told there's a big chance it's going to be the first single from their next album. I literally finished it this morning so I'm allowed to talk about it now."
Naughty Boy was invited to work with the boy band after striking up a close friendship with Zayn Malik.
The 29-year-old studio guru - real name Shahid Khan - says Zayn has become one of his closest friends in the pop world because of their shared cultures.
He explained: "I had to think about doing it because a One Direction song was a big leap into the pop world ... I met Zayn at the BRITs but have become really close. It was a case of being mates before music. We live close to each other and both come from Pakistani backgrounds and working class families. We're Muslim and that's helped us bond. We love curries, too, so it's the little things as well.
"In this industry it's hard to make real friends but we'd be mates even if we didn't work in music."
At the weekend Naughty Boy performed at the Virgin Media V Festival playing a storming set on the Our House Stage.

Morrissey insists he’s been dropped from record label

Morrissey insists he has been dropped by his record label, despite the company denying his claims.
The former Smiths frontman is adamant he has proof in an email that he was ditched by Capitol-Harvest Records, but label boss Steve Barnett has dismissed claims the organisation and the 55-year-old singer have parted company following the release of his solo album 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business'.
In a statement on fansite True To You, Morrissey wrote: "Both Morrissey and Morrissey's lawyer are in possession of email correspondence from Steve Barnett (head of Capitol-Harvest Records), and also from Steve Barnett's personal assistant, both of whom confirm that Capitol-Harvest have ended their relationship with Morrissey. No recording Agreement with Capitol-Harvest was ever signed by Morrissey, and Morrissey retains full ownership of (new album) World Peace is None Of Your Business.
"Contrary to the assured Billboard report, Capitol-Harvest have very clearly stated that they would have no interest in licensing a second album by Morrissey. (Law firm) Russells (London), who represent Morrissey, are presently concluding Morrissey's relationship with Harvest Records. Once again, Morrissey is in search of a new label."
But last week, a source told Billboard that Morrissey hadn't been dropped from his label and was halfway through his two-album deal with the company.

Victoria Beckham refuses Mel B’s X Factor offer

Victoria Beckham has snubbed Mel B's offer to appear on 'The X Factor'.
The 39-year-old talent show judge and former Spice Girl - who was hoping one of her ex-band mates would join her in Cancun, Mexico, as the contestants visit the judges' houses prior to the live shows - has already had her offer refused by the 40-year-old fashion designer.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "All the Spice Girls have been approached to join Mel, as she thinks it would be great to have a reunion on the show.
"But Mel is realistic that it's a long way to travel and the other girls have commitments.
"Victoria has already indicated she won't be able to do it but Mel hopes at least one of the others will help her out."
Mel is keen to have one of her former bandmates - Victoria, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton - alongside her as she decides which six hopefuls in her boy's category will go through to the live shows and remains confident that one of them will take part.
However, producers are said to be keeping an eye out for other singers to join her instead.
Meanwhile, the show hopefuls are believed to be visiting their judge's house later this week.
Tulisa Contostavlos has been reunited with Louis Walsh in Bermuda,
Simon Cowell is expected to be joined in Los Angeles by Sinitta, whilst Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is rumoured to be getting a helping hand from will.i.am in the south of France.

Bruce Forsyth: Strictly Come Dancing wasn’t fun anymore

Sir Bruce Forsyth quit 'Strictly Come Dancing' because he didn't find it fun anymore.
The 86-year-old television presenter and entertainer - who announced he was leaving the show earlier this year after 11 series as its iconic host - admitted he started to find the process of filming exhausting.
He told The Daily Mirror newspaper: "I don't have the feeling I usually get every time this year, knowing I've got to slog away until Christmas and then go away dog tired.
"I'll feel very strange and I'll miss it like mad, but when you've been with something for 10 years that will happen.
"But I'll miss it in a relaxed way, rather than thinking: 'Oh I wanna be up there!', I don't particularly want to be."
Bruce - who has also presented a number of game shows in his career - admitted the 'Strictly' job had become stressful and too high pressure for him.
He explained: "With Strictly I did have a problem with it personally: I couldn't get enough fun out of doing it.
"When I first started I hoped I would be able to get it in amongst it all. 'Play Your Cards Right' and the 'Generation Game', they were fun shows.
"With Strictly I was mostly a presenter - good or bad - but there wasn't an avenue in it where I could have fun."
Bruce's co-host Tess Daly will be joined by Claudia Winkleman on the new series, which is due to return to BBC One in the Autumn.
Speaking of the new presenting duo, Bruce said: "They've done it before when I was off last year.
"The public accepted them nicely, so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work."

Daniella Westbrook begins rehab for cocaine addiction

Daniella Westbook is attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
The former 'Eastenders' star will attend the group rehabilitation sessions for three months in a bid to tackle her "dangerous" addiction after she started taking cocaine again in April following an argument her now ex-boyfriend Tom Richards.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I do need help. I don't have a choice.
"I'm going back to meetings. I'm in London a lot so there is no excuse and I need to go at least five times a week.
"Therapy will help me massively. I know it will. The intervention has happened and now I can move forward."
Danniella, 40 - who was warned in the late 1990s she would die within two weeks if her habit continued at the same rate and continued to take the drug when she was pregnant with her daughter Jody B, now 12, in 2001 - has vowed to stay clean for the sake of her children.
The actress - who also has a son, Kai, 17, with former partner Robert Fernandez - said: "I don't want to be that person. I don't want to hit that spiral.
"I love my little girl, getting into bed and watching movies. I'm so family orientated.
"How I've ended up here is a blessing in a way. I know If I'm in a vulnerable place now, rather than deal with it myself, I can actually ask someone for help."

Peter Capaldi knew how to work the TARDIS

Peter Capaldi knew "how to work the TARDIS" before he started work on 'Doctor Who'.
The incoming star has replaced previous Time Lord Matt Smith as the latest incarnation of the iconic science fiction character, and he is such a big fan of the show he had to bite his tongue when prop workers were trying to tell him how everything works.
He said: "I'm constantly amazed that it is me playing this role. I think, 'I'm Doctor Who - how did that happen?' It's a huge privilege and hugely exciting.
"I remember when I first came into the TARDIS, I had to be very patient as the very nice prop guys showed me how to work the Tardis.
"I was thinking, 'I know how to work the TARDIS. I've known for a long time, probably longer than you, so you don't need to tell me!' Every day is amazing!"
He has also warned himself not to buy into the hype or fanaticism from similarly devoted followers of the programme, instead focusing on his own performance rather than what people will think.
He added in an interview with The Guardian newspaper: " 'Doctor Who' is so big, from the start I thought, 'Don't get involved in what people say'. You simply do your best.
"Then it goes out into the world and you know that whether most people like it or not, somewhere someone loves you, and will always love you. The more everyone hates you, the more they'll love you! 'He was my Doctor', they'll say."

Ian Somerhalder couldn’t be happier

Ian Somerhalder "couldn't be happier" with Nikki Reed.
The 'Vampire Diaries' actor has been rumoured to be dating the 'Twilight Saga' actress for the past few months and he is thankful for her "support and love".
He told E! News: "Life is good. There's a lot of support and love from a lot of people.
"I couldn't be happier if I tried."
It was recently revealed the 35-year-old hunk - who split from 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Nina Dobrev in May 2013 after three years of dating - and his new girlfriend had adopted a horse together.
Alongside a picture of himself and the equine, he wrote on Instagram: "Proud new dad. What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy. (sic)"
The pair first sparked rumours they are dating after they were spotted at a farmer's market in Los Angeles last month, where Ian held a protective arm around Nikki, who separated from husband Paul McDonald in March.
The duo - who have been friends for a long time - used to go on double dates when they were with their previous partners, and Nikki is said to still be good friends with Ian's ex-girlfriend, Nina.
Nina has recently said she supports Ian in all that he does and they remain close friends.

Jon Hamm is enjoying a break

Jon Hamm is "enjoying" being in "chill-out" mode.
The 43-year-old actor has taken a break since filming his final scenes in advertising drama 'Mad Men' and insists he is "too old" to have done what some of his former colleagues did and head straight into a new project.
He said: "I'm taking some meetings on projects, but mostly I've been in chill-out.
"I've enjoyed it, and I think it was warranted. I worked hard for eight years. I know some of my castmates are on to other projects, but I'm too old for that.
"I'm looking in the mirror right now. I see more grey than ever."
Jon can currently be seen starring opposite Daniel Radcliffe in
'A Young Doctor's Notebook and Other Stories' and though he plays a middle-aged Russian doctor who can travel back in time to advise his younger self, he admits he would never have listened if the same thing had happened to him as a young man - because he thought all older people were "stupid".
Speaking to USA Today newspaper, he said: "I think everyone would love a chance to talk to their younger selves. The only trouble is that the younger self will never listen.
"I know I wouldn't have. I thought everyone older was stupid."
