Lynda Bellingham’s death will create ‘biggest hole’ in my life, says husband

Lynda Bellingham's husband Michael Pattermore says her impending death from cancer will "create the biggest hole my life".
The 66-year-old TV star has announced her intention to stop chemotherapy treatment for her terminal bowel cancer next month, which means she only has several weeks to live.
Michael - married the former 'Loose Women' co-host in May 2008 - has no idea how he's going to cope with the loss of his wife.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am the most positive-thinking guy in the world. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how positive I am on this one, the Good Lord is going to take her. End of. It's scary and it's going to create the biggest hole in my life.
"I just don't know what the next few weeks will bring or how I am going to cope. The only things that's giving me comfort is that Lynda is very much at peace with everything - we've managed to sort everything out.
"I just pray to God she gets to see Christmas Day again. It's what she wants."
Lynda - who played the Oxo mum on the TV adverts - says she hopes her husband finds a new partner and moves back to Somerset, where he's originally from.

Robert Pattinson helped choose sister’s X Factor songs

Robert Pattinson helped to choose the songs his sister performed on 'The X Factor'.
Lizzy Pattinson has revealed her Hollywood star sibling has been aiding her in deciding what tracks to perform on the ITV talent contest and impress the judges Mel B, Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
The 31-year-old singer explained: "I just sent him a link to the songs for Judges' Houses and he said, 'They sound really cool.' One of the songs was quite obscure and he thought it was really good."
Lizzy - who is being mentored by Simon - also admitted that the 'Twilight' heartthrob has been really supportive during her time on the programme, and has been giving her tips to improve.
She added: "I am surprised how interested he is in it.
"He watched the first episode I was in. He gave me feedback and that meant a lot to me."
However, Lizzy's future on the show is unclear, as she was struck down with illness the day before travelling to Simon Cowell's Los Angeles home for the next round of auditions.
She said: "I started feeling ill the day before I left and it all came out at the wrong time. I did some swimming in the ocean, which probably didn't help.
"I didn't feel like I had any control of my higher range. I didn't know what note was going to come out. So I probably pushed it more than I would have normally."
The Judge's Houses episodes of 'The X Factor' will air on ITV this weekend.

Alison Hammond tells saucy stories to Strictly co-stars

Alison Hammond has been shocking her 'Strictly Come Dancing' co-stars with her saucy stories.
The bubbly 'This Morning' reporter has been revealing racy details of her love life to her fellow celebrities on the BBC One ballroom show making many of them blush.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Alison is always talking about her boyfriend and will tell everyone everything about him. She is hilarious and pretty out there with the detail she goes into."
It seems that it's not just the other dancers who have been left blushing after the 39-year-old's X-rated tales with beau Jamie Savage, 36, as producers have also unintentionally been treated to the raunchy details.
The insider continued: "The costumes and microphones go on first thing and the producers can listen in to everything."
Alison surprised viewers on Saturday night's opening episode of the hit dancing show with an energetic cha cha which scored an impressive 26 points.
Following the performance, Alijaz Skorjanec - who won the show with model Abbey Clancy last year - confessed that he also thinks Alison is an exceptional dancer, joking that he has found it hard to keep up with the popular presenter.
He quipped: "She is an amazing dancer. I am trying to keep up with her - she looks better shaking it than me."

Amy Childs is dating Bournemouth footballer

Amy Childs is reportedly dating professional footballer Adam Smith.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star said to be enjoying a blossoming romance with the sportsman, who plays for A.F.C. Bournemouth in the Football League Championship.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Amy didn't want to rush into anything after all the publicity surrounding Darren.
"But she's really taken to Adam. They're roughly the same age and have the same interests.
"It's early days but Amy is hopeful it will turn into something really serious."
The 21-year-old soccer star is also from Essex, and it is said the pair share many mutual friends.
They have already been on several dinner dates after meeting in a local bar, which prompted them to swap phone numbers start sending each other flirty text messages.
Amy spoke last year about wanting to settle down, but admitted it might be difficult with her busy career.
She previously said: "I can't wait to get married. Not yet though, in a couple of years. I've always wanted a big wedding and want all my family there.
"But I just wouldn't have the time at the moment. I've got so much coming up work-wise that I couldn't cope with it."

Kelly Osbourne doesn’t want Joan Rivers replaced on Fashion Police

Kelly Osbourne insists nobody will replace Joan Rivers on 'Fashion Police'.
The 29-year-old star hosted the programme alongside the comedienne until her death aged 81 earlier this month, and while the show is set to return next year for a new series, Kelly is insistent another present won't join the show.
She tweeted: "#enough already!!! yes @e_FashionPolice Will be back in January but NO ONE WILL REPLACE @Joan_Rivers! (sic)"
Despite this, Kathy Griffin is currently favourite to take Joan's place on the show alongside hosts Kelly, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos.
E! confirmed earlier this month the show will return next year after the channel received the blessing of her daughter Melissa to keep the programme going.
A spokesperson said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honouring her memory on all of our platforms. We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of 'Fashion Police'.
"We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. 'Fashion Police' will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time."
Kelly was left "completely heartbroken" after Joan's death and paid tribute to her 'Fashion Police' co-host in a heartfelt message.
She wrote on her official Facebook page: "I'm completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan. Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew.
"She was family and I will never forget her. Laughter will be difficult for a while but when I'm sad, lonely or upset all I will have to do is think of Joan and a smile will cross my face. Laughter is what she gave us and laughter is what she would want us to do in remembrance of her."

Keira Knightley unconcerned about turning 30

Keira Knightley is not worried about turning 30.
The 29-year-old actress - who is best known for starring in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films - said she didn't enjoy herself during her early 20s because she was consumed by uncertainties, but admits she's been on an upward curve ever since she turned 25.
Keira told Glamour magazine: "I'm not actually worried about turning 30. Because, honestly, my early twenties were not much fun. Then after 25, things just got better and better.
"Maybe you stop caring as much about where you should be going and what other people think - which is all the s**t that makes you very unhappy early on."
Keira also admitted she is very happily married to Klaxons rocker James Wrighton, 31, saying she made the right decision to tie the knot in the south of France in May 2013.
She explained: "It was a bloody good day and a lot of fun. And yes, being married feels pretty good.
"You only get to choose one member of your family and I made a good choice. So well done, me!"
However, Keira - who appeared in 'Begin Again', alongside Mark Ruffalo, Adam Levine and James Corden, earlier this year - says married life has not led to her maturing.
She said: "I reached my peak of grown-up behaviour at 20 and 21, and it's been downhill since then.
"I was terribly sensible as a teenager but I've got far less so as I've grown up, which has been a huge relief for everyone - including my parents."

Alicia Keys due to give birth on New Year’s Eve

Alicia Keys is due to give birth on New Year's Eve (31.12.14).
The 'Girl On Fire' hitmaker - who is expecting her second child with husband Swizz Beatz - has revealed they are set to become parents again at the end of the year.
Speaking on 'The View' last night (29.09.14), she said: "It's looking like December, they tell me December 31. I think that's kinda cute."
The singer - who has three-year-old son Egypt with her husband - also discussed her new single 'Here We Are' and the movement she is leading to create a peaceful world for her children, and admitted being a mother has influenced her passion for change.
She added: "Definitely being a mother has definitely given me more of a fierceness and an understand about just what I believe in that much more."
Alicia is keen to help make the world a better place to ensure her children have a great life in the future.
She explained: "I think no matter who you are and what we might disagree on, or whatever we might think differently about - one thing we can all agree about is that we want a peaceful world for our children."

Nick Grimshaw in twerking world record delight and disaster

Nick Grimshaw set a twerking world record this morning (30.09.14) - only to have it cruelly taken away from him by a fellow Radio 1 presenter minutes later.
The 30-year-old star broke the Guinness World Record for the longest duration of twerking after putting his tush to the test for an hour, but shortly after it was confirmed live on air that he had set a new record it was revealed his pal Greg James had carried on twerking to set an even newer record.
Following the realisation that Nick's minutes-old record had been beaten on his Radio 1 breakfast show, he admitted he had simply assumed Greg was only twerking alongside him to show his support.
He quipped: "People think it's a joke but it's really horrible. I've been having twerking lessons for this.
"I thought that's so nice that he's supporting me. You know this is my dream, Greg? It's my lifelong dream. "
A smug Greg replied: "I know, that's why revenge is sweet."
Nick also took to his Twitter account to reveal his disappointment at losing out to Greg just minutes after setting the record.
He wrote: "YAY I'M A WORLD RECORD HOLDER!!!! Oh no....wait....damn @gregjames and his ass. (sic)"
The twerking attempt was very much official as a Guinness World Records adjudicator in the studio confirmed Nick had set a new record.
A post on the organisation's official Twitter account even congratulated Nick on his achievement and posted pictures of him with his certificate.
The message read: "A new Guinness World Records title - longest duration twerking for @grimmers on @R1Breakfast! #GrimmyTwerks (sic)"
But shortly afterwards another post on the account revealed Greg had set a new record.
It wrote: "A surprise twerk-off this morning on @BBCR1 as @gregjames breaks @grimmers record minutes after it was set (sic)"

Oscar Isaac prefers ‘old-school’ Star Wars films

Oscar Issac has criticised the modern tweaks George Lucas made to the original 'Star Wars' films.
The 35-year-old actor, who appears as a still-to-be-named character in the eagerly-awaited 'Star Wars: Episode VII', explained he prefers an "old-school" approach to film-making as opposed to the adjustments made by Lucas, 70.
He told the Huffington Post: "I'm most excited and, I know this seems nerdy, but I love the fact that [director] JJ Abrams is shooting it on film. And that's not just from an aesthetic standpoint but it's about how a movie is filmed. It changes so many things.
"I mean, I've had to do things over again because there was a hair in the gate, which is so old school. But it just feels better, and movies are all about feeling, so I think that's something that I'm so very excited about."
Isaac, who is best known for his lead role in 'Inside Llewyn Davis' in 2013, said as the creator of 'Star Wars', Lucas retained the right to make whatever changes he wishes.
He added: "There's a part of me that appreciates that he doesn't really care if people are upset about it. He decided to share it and he wants to go back and do stuff, whatever.
"But as a fan, I'd much rather go back and watch the old thing, because it's a product of the time. It's 'what did you do at the time with the things that you had?'."
'Star Wars Episode VII' is set to hit cinema screens on December 18, 2015.

Magic Mike XXL synopsis released

The synopsis for 'Magic Mike XXL' has been released.
The sequel to the 2012 comedy drama will continue the story three years later, following Mike's (Channing Tatum) decision to walk away from his stripping career.
Greg Silverman, president of creative development and worldwide production at Warner Bros, said: "'Magic Mike' was a tremendous crowd-pleaser, scoring with critics and audiences across the board.
"We look forward to continuing the magic with so many of the talented individuals who made that film such a success - both in front of and behind the camera."
The film will see the other Kings of Tampa follow in Mike's footsteps, but vow to have a huge show to celebrate their decision to step out of the spotlight.
Not only do they want to impress their legions of fans for one last time, they are determined to get their legendary headliner Magic Mike to return to the stage for a final performance.
In an official synopsis released by Warner Bros, they tease: "On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways."
Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias will all return to the movie, which will also feature newcomers Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Strahan.
'Magic Mike XXL' will be released in the UK on August 7, 2015.

Angelina Jolie buys £2million watch for Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie has given Brad Pitt a rare £2 million watch as a wedding present.
The 'Maleficent' actress has splashed out on the expensive gift - a 1952 Patek Philippe platinum chronometer - which has been inscribed with the words "To Roly from Nessa", a reference to the characters the couple play in 'By The Sea'.
The two stars - who tied the knot last month - are currently filming the new movie in Malta and George Farrugia, 57, who runs Dolindo Jewellers on the neighbouring island of Gozo has opened up about the "rare" and "valuable" present.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I did inscribe the watch, it was for Brad and it was a rare one.
"Oh yes, it was very valuable. I wasn't nervous about the inscription because I knew I could do the work perfectly."
Meanwhile, Brad has admitted he is "slowing down" his film career so he can spend more time with his wife and their children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with Angelina - "before they're grown up".
He recently said: "I've been slowing down for a while now. And slowly transitioning to other things.
"And, truthfully, I do want to spend more time with my kids before they're grown up and gone."

Phil Collins reveals extent of drink troubles

Phil Collins used to drink wine at 11am and struggled to get out of bed in the morning.
The 63-year-old musician - who has a personal fortune estimated to be worth £120 million and has won seven Grammy awards - insists three failed marriages and the absence of his five children led to a period of heavy drinking and soul searching.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The retirement process started in 2004 when [son] Matthew was born.
"I thought I'm going to do this the right way - I don't need another gold record, or any gratuity or gratification; I want to stop [making music] and bring my kids up. And then stuff happens you can't control. You get a divorce so I'm not living with my kids."
It was at this stage the 'In the Air Tonight' hitmaker split from his third wife, Orianne, and he started drinking heavily.
He said: "I'm getting up and watching cricket, turning on the television at 11am and having a bottle of wine.
"I was never an alcoholic; I just got to be doing that most days.
"But you have to have a reason to get up and my manager keeps saying, 'You have to do something.' But right now I don't really feel the urge to record.
"My doctor said, 'I can stop you drinking but I can't give you a reason to get up in the morning.' I stopped drinking 18 months ago, but they're still trying to find me that reason."
