Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall fondly remembered her late brother chasing her with a cricket bat when they were younger.
The Duchess honoured her brother, Mark Shand - fondly known as Shandy-Ba - at a memorial event at the late travel writer and conservationist's school, where they have dedicated an all-weather pitch to his memory.
Speaking at Saint Ronan's School in Hawkhurst, Kent, Camilla shared: "This is where his love of sport started, he adored cricket. I'm told he was very good-tempered, at home he had a foul temper and chased both me and my sister round the garden with his cricket bat - but it was all smiles again.
"Wherever Mark is today, he would be so proud what this all -weather pitch has been named after him. I think he would be rather surprised too because although he adored Saint Ronan's - and said it was the best school he'd ever been to - he didn't like school very much."
Mark tragically passed away on April 23, 2014 after he fell and hit his head outside the Rose Bar, inside the Gramercy Park Hotel in Manhattan, New York.
After his death, The Mark Shand Memorial Fund was established to raise money to save the Asian elephant.
Prince Andrew has admitted that he finds the selfie trend "disconcerting".
The Duke of York has admitted that he has struggled to adapt to the new technology phenomenon, which involves people constantly trying to take photographs with the royal family.
Talking to BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, Prince Andrew said: "One finds that if you're walking along crowd of people, you're faced with iPad, not a face.
"But it's a live event. Why do you need to film a live event?
"It's disconcerting, not rude or anything, just disconcerting that this is the new reality."
His comments echo the thoughts of the US ambassador Matthew Barzun, who told Tatler magazine that the Queen isn't very comfortable with the selfie trend either.
Matthew - who met with the Queen at Buckingham Palace to present his credentials as a foreign ambassador - told the mag: "She was essentially saying 'I miss eye contact'."
However, Prince Andrew isn't totally unhappy with selfie - as long as he is in control of the camera.
In April, the 54-year-old Duke became the first member of the royal family to share a selfie of himself after he took a snap of himself and his guests at his Pitch @ Palace event in St James' Palace and posted it on Twitter.

Halle Berry wants her child support payments slashed by 80 per cent.
The 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' star was ordered to pay former partner Gabriel Aubry $16,000 a month by a court in May but she has now filed documents asking to reduce the payments to just over $3,000 a month because she claims the model - with who she has six-year-old daughter Nahla - has stopped working and is living entirely from the money he receives from her.
According to TMZ, Halle notes in the documents that her 39-year-old former partner - with who she shares equal joint custody of their little girl - is "perfectly capable" of getting a job and the reduced payments will still allow Nahla to live a comfortable life, supplemented by his own income.
During the hearing earlier this year, 48-year-old Halle - who also has 12-month-old son Maceo with husband Olivier Martinez - was ordered to make the hefty payments to Gabriel until their child turns 19 or graduates from high school, whichever happens first.
A judge in Los Angeles also awarded the Canadian mode $115,000 in back payments and $300,000 in lawyer's fees.
The duo split in April 2010 after two years of dating and reached an initial custody agreement in late 2012 after Gabriel got into a violent altercation Olivier.
The French actor and Gabriel reached a mutual decision not to pursue criminal charges for Nahla's sake after Gabriel originally filed for a restraining order against Olivier, claiming he had threatened to kill him during the dispute in November 2012.
The row stemmed from Gabriel blocking Halle from moving to France with their daughter to escape attention from the paparazzi.
