Rolling Stones book to sell for 5k

A new Rolling Stones book will sell for a staggering $5,000.
The boxed, collector's edition of 'The Rolling Stones' - a coffee table book featuring hundreds of photographs - will be signed by band members Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Robbie Wood and goes on sale in December, but fans will have to shell out a huge sum for one of the 1,150 copies of the tome.
Those less willing to dig deep will be able to purchase an unsigned smaller edition for $150.
In a statement issued through publishers Taschen, 'Brown Sugar' singer Mick promised the book captures "many magical moments," while guitarist Keith described it as a "roller coaster" through the band's 50 year history.
Fans who buy the book may get to see a glimpse of the group's life backstage, though Ronnie recently admitted the veteran rockers shun wild parties for more leisurely pursuits on the road these days, including backgammon, jigsaw puzzles, and binge-watching television shows.
Ronnie said: "Being on tour jetlags you. You wake up every night about 9pm, just at the time when you would be going on stage. So now, instead, we watch 19 murder mysteries in a row. We're on 'Above Suspicion' at the moment. Last one tonight.
"We watch loads of box sets on the road, too. Even with [Sir Mick] Jagger I go, 'Let's go and watch 'House of Cards'.' And he told us about 'Game of Thrones'. We had to send someone out at four in the morning when we were in Shanghai to get us the next series."

Boy George hints at X Factor judging role offer

Boy George has hinted he turned down a judging role on 'The X Factor'.
The flamboyant pop star is a big fan of the pop star search show and watches every week, but he could have been on the panel critiquing the acts.
Speaking about his favourite acts on the programme, he said: "I think the young girl Lauren Platt is amazing and obviously the Italian guy, Andrea Faustini, is very good. But you have to remember it's a TV show so there is only ever going to be one winner and I just think a lot of the acts this year, like Chloe Jasmine, I think she's great, she is such a natural star, but all the songs they gave her were just wrong and that's why she went. She should be singing jazz, she's jazz singer. They should get me in there and I'd show them what to do. I think a lot of the singers have been really badly advised because at the end of the day it is about TV it's not about music necessarily."
When asked if he'd like to be a judge on the series, the 53-year-old singer replied: "How do you know that I already haven't been asked?"
He added to BANG Showbiz: "No I'm not telling you. I mean at the moment I'm a bit too busy for that but we'll see, if it's still going. Maybe I'll do it on another type of TV show but I do find 'The X Factor' entertaining."
The Culture Club star admits he can't resist taking to Twitter whenever 'X Factor' is on to air his grievances and give praise where it's due.
He said: "I suppose like everyone else, if I'm in and I'm watching it I get carried away with the decisions people make and I'm like,' 'Oh come on!' So I get on Twitter."

Debra Messing and Will Chase split

Debra Messing has split from Will Chase.
The 'Smash' co-stars - who met on the set of the musical drama series - have gone their separate ways after almost three years of dating but will remain in contact as "close friends".
A representative for the 46-year-old actress told Us Weekly magazine: "Debra Messing and Will Chase have ended their two-and-a-half year relationship but remain close friends."
Though the pair didn't speak much about their relationship, Debra - who split from husband Daniel Zelman, the father of her 10-year-old son Roman - previously revealed she had a lot of "fun" working on 'Smash' with Will, 44, and their other co-star Katharine McPhee.
She said soon after she and Will started dating: "The amount of fun I'm having on this show is so ridiculous -- off the charts already.
"The cast is so accomplished, so committed."
And their romance didn't come as a surprise to the cast and crew of the Broadway drama.
Director Michael Mayer said: "On Broadway, we call it a 'showmance'. That's where people meet and fall in love.
"I don't know where Debra and Will would have met [otherwise]. So 'Smash' brought them together. And the context of their onscreen relationship, I'm sure that triggered a lot."
Since 'Smash' was cancelled in spring 2013, Debra has gone on to work on 'The Mysteries of Laura', which debuted last month, while Will - who has teenage daughters, Daisy and Gracie, from his first marriage - has a recurring role on 'Nashville'.

Kim Kardashian West reveals birthday gift from North

Kim Kardashian West's daughter gave her a hand-painted Hermes bag for her birthday.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star turned 34 last Tuesday (21.10.14) and was delighted with the unique gift her husband Kanye West helped their 16-month-old daughter North create - and admitted that, until she saw footage of the youngster decorating the purse, she thought it had been created by an up-and-coming artist.
She said: "Kanye had a box [with an Hermes purse in it] and I opened it up and it was all painted really cool and on my computer was this message that said 'Play' and it was a video of my daughter sitting outside painting the purse.
"I had thought it was this new artist who had painted this purse [but] it was my daughter. It was amazing."
The 37-year-old rapper whisked Kim away on a short surprise trip to Hawaii and they spent their time visiting high street store Gap, picking up garments to customise.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "Kanye took me away for 24 hours and was like, 'What do I get the girl that has so much?' Sleep and no paparazzi and shopping at The Gap.'
"We spent two hours shopping at The Gap and we haven't been there in years. We bought creme sweaters -- we bought like five of them and we're going to reconstruct them and make things out of them."
Now her birthday is over, Kim and her husband are looking forward to a Thanksgiving celebration with both their extended families.
She said: "It's at my mom's house and this year I think one of Kanye's family members is gonna cook and we're gonna have a blended Thanksgiving."

Dave Grohl: Kurt Cobain’s death made me afraid of music

Dave Grohl was "afraid of music" after Kurt Cobain's death.
The Foo Fighters frontman has admitted his former Nirvana bandmate's suicide in 1994 shook him so much he found it difficult to listen to songs which provoked any kind of emotion..
Speaking to Anderson Cooper on CBS' '60 Minutes' on Sunday night (26.10.14), he said: "Losing Kurt was earth-shattering, and I was afraid of music after he died.
"If I heard a song that even touched on an emotion in me, I would turn it off.
"I was so terrified because to me, that's what music always was. It was a direct connection to my heart."
Earlier this year, Dave reconciled with Courtney Love, Kurt's widow, after putting their feud behind them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in April.
He explained: "It was the Hall of Fame ceremony, but it meant so much to all of us personally that sometimes you forgot about the other stuff - like the arena and the trophy - and focused on real, personal things.
"I saw Courtney walking past [earlier in the night], and I just tapped her on the shoulder and we looked at each other in the eyes and that was it - we're just family.
"We've had a rocky road. We've had a bumpy past, but at the end of the day we're a big family and when we hugged each other it was a real hug."

Jessica Chastain ‘doesn’t work for money’

Jessica Chastain never takes on a role for the paycheck.
The 'Interstellar' actress said she's not interested in how much money she's offered to play a part, insisting she won't accept a role unless it's right for her.
She told The Independent newspaper: "I've been very lucky when I choose a film, I don't think of the paycheck first. I think, when we end the film, how are we going to be more enriched as human beings?
"For me I've never taken a role and thought I'll get something out of this. If you think, 'I'll get recognition', often the opposite happens."
The 37-year-old star shot to fame after playing an agent hunting Osama bin Laden in 2012 movie 'Zero Dark Thirty', but Jessica insists she still doesn't feel like a celebrity.
She explained: "I don't get used to it, I feel like I've found a place in the industry, but that I'm observing everyone. That I've got into the coolest concert ever, and I'm backstage and I get to hang out with the [Rolling] Stones. I don't feel like I'm part of a band."

Ronan Keating ‘wants a Game of Thrones wedding’

Ronan Keating wants a 'Game of Thrones'-style wedding if he ever ties the knot to girlfriend Storm Uechtritz.
The 37-year-old singer - who met his girlfriend on the set of Australian 'X Factor', on which he is a judge - is keen for their nuptials to be in the style of the US fantasy drama series, but thinks his plans could be quashed before they've even got off the ground because the blonde beauty wants an "organic" ceremony.
He told HELLO! magazine: "If we did get married, I was thinking more of a 'Game of Thrones' kind of theme, but she's really earthy."
She added: "Yeah, I'd want it to be very organic and natural.
"I grew up on a farm in North Queensland so I'd like simplicity."
While Ronan - who divorced ex-wife Yvonne Connolly in 2012 - has already been thinking about the couple's potential wedding, Storm insists they are in "no rush" to tie the knot just get.
Ronan - who has three children, Jack, 15, Missy, 13, and nine-year-old Ali with Yvonne - said: "We've both found our soulmate and we know that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.
"But we're not in a rush to make an announcement about wedding bells just yet."

Ellen DeGeneres ‘hated stand-up comedy’

Ellen DeGeneres hated doing stand-up comedy.
The chat show host admits she only ever took to the stage when she was younger because she had "no other skills".
She said: "It's horrible, you only do it if you have no other skills to fall back on."
Ellen now wants to be a design icon.
The 56-year-old star, who is preparing to launch her new lifestyle-and-clothing brand, E.D., early next year, says she plans to become a full-time designer when her self-titled series eventually comes to an end.
She told Vogue magazine: "When I someday decide to stop doing the show, my entire focus is going to be design."
The comedienne and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are worth an estimated $200 million, but Ellen insists she didn't grow up rich and believes everyone should have access to amazing furniture.
She said: "I still understand that everyone should be able to have great design in their home, so let me do it in a more accessible way.
"When I think about decorating, that's when I start to meditate."
The star - who regularly buys houses and revamps them before selling them for a profit - also claims she's made as much money from flipping properties as she has from her chosen career.
But Portia is eager to move to a farm in the future even though they already have three cats, three dogs, three horses and are both vegan.
She said: "I really am a farm girl. I would love sheep and goats, and I'd really like chickens. We need to get a farm."

Kourtney Kardashian’s craving bagels

Kourtney Kardashian's pregnancy has left her craving bagels.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who is currently seven months pregnant with her third child with boyfriend Scott Disick - has admitted she craves bagels so much that she doesn't go anywhere without one in her handbag.
She told E! News: "A bagel with cream cheese and jelly. I would have plain ones just in my bag at all times. Khloé would be like, 'What's in your purse?' I'd have two bagels at all times.
"I would eat plain ones, too. I would get nauseous a lot when we were there so just eating a plain bagel was like my saviour."
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality has revealed her and Scott have "some ideas" for a name but admits she's a bit stuck.
She said: "I want to wait until the baby is born."
Meanwhile, Kourtney has admitted she has some nerves about considering marrying her long-term boyfriend.
The pair attended a friend's wedding together over the weekend and whilst she said it was "beautiful", she felt nervous just watching one, let alone having one of her own.
She said: "It makes me so nervous to see people walking down the aisle and just the nerves that go with it."

He said: "I've never been more in love, and I've never been more proud of my wife.
"She's been absolutely astonishing."
The baby - which has yet to be named - was born at 3.10pm on Monday (27.10.14) and weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

Meanwhile, last month, it was revealed that Ayda was keen on a Los Angeles birth for their second child.
A friend of the couple previously said: ''The baby will be born in California for definite. Ayda did live in the UK with Robbie for almost a year after Teddy's birth but they're based in LA now.
''Ayda prefers living there as her friends and family are close by and she has a good support network.''
Robbie has been entertaining his fans today with amusing videos from the hospital room, including a video which showed him doing a rendition of 'Let It Go' from the hit movie, 'Frozen', whilst his wife appeared to be giving birth.

Daniel Radcliffe’s anger at ‘unconventional romantic lead’ comment

Daniel Radcliffe is angered at those who say he is an "unconventional romantic lead".
The 25-year-old actor - who rose to fame playing the lead role in the 'Harry Potter' series - has revealed he hates when people say he is not as well suited to the romantic lead roles as some of his actor friends.
He told Associated Press: "Around the time of 'What If', the rom-com coming out, a lot of people were saying, 'You're really an unconventional romantic lead.'
"And so eventually I got bored of hearing that and I kind of picked up on it, so I was like, 'What about me is unconventional, exactly? Like, tell me.'"
The 'Horns' star was also questioned about people that find it "kind of weird" thinking of him as a sex symbol because they had seen him "growing up on screen".
Replying to the comment, he said: "Well, the male population has had no problem sexualizing ['Harry Potter' co-star] Emma Watson immediately."
Meanwhile, Daniel has previously admitted he is desperate to break ties with the character he played in the adventure series.
He recently said: "There is no one film that fully separates me, in the eyes of everyone else, from 'Harry Potter' - that isn't going to happen.
''It's about building up as diverse and interesting a body of work as I can.''

Kim Kardashian West ’emotional’ on proposal anniversary

Kim Kardashian West was "emotional" on the anniversary of her wedding proposal.
Kanye West - who asked Kim to marry him on her birthday last year - surprised his wife with a trip to the Bay Area to watch the San Francisco Giants to celebrate the anniversary of their engagement.
The couple attended the AT&T Park last year and it is reportedly where Kanye popped the question.
An eye-witness told HollywoodLife.com: "She was emotional most of the time and was in the bathroom in the private sky box for an inning or two.
"She was crying tears of joy, of happiness and didn't want people to see her being an emotional wreck.
"More importantly, because you know how vain she is, she didn't want anyone seeing her makeup run all down her face."
Kim, 34, and 37-year-old Kanye - who have 16-month-old North West together - watched as the game was won by the Giants, who beat the Kansas City Royals 5 - 0.
Kim was treated to a first class experience at the game, but according to the source, she was more focused on remembering the couple's trip there a year ago.
The source continued: "She just wanted some private time to herself as she remembered the engagement to her husband and to the man she plans to spend the rest of her life with."
