James Corden has become a father for the second time.
The comedian's wife Julia gave birth to their first daughter on Monday (27.10.14) and both mother and baby - who has been named Carey after her mum's maiden name - were said to be doing well last night, reports The Sun newspaper.
James, 36 - who also has son Max, three, with Julia - confessed that parenthood has changed his outlook on life, saying: "It has given me a sense of clarity".
The 'A League of Their Own' host - who lost 5st after Max was born - tied the knot with charity worker Julia in 2012 and earlier this year revealed his "best times" were weekends away with his family.
James also admitted that he gave his firstborn child the middle name McCartney as a bribe to The Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney to appear in a Comic Relief sketch.
Speaking previously about how Sir Paul had accused him of "grovelling" after they met, he explained: "I then said, 'That's nothing - if you'd said no, I was going to say I would name my unborn child after you'. To which he said, 'If you promise to do that, I'll do the sketch'."
The 'X Factor' contestants have been banned from going near the windows of their mansion.
This year's hopefuls - who reside together in a £2.8 million north London property while they compete in the competition - have been ordered by show bosses to stay clear of the windows over fears they could distract fans and cause a road accident.
Producers of the ITV show are worried about the presence of young admirers who wait outside the mansion for a glimpse of the contestants and fear they could be tempted to run across the road if they spot their favourite star.
Barclay Beales - who is competing for this year's title as part of the eight-piece boyband, Stereo Kicks - told The Sun newspaper: "We have been told not to go near the windows for the safety of the fans outside.
"Sometimes the house can be mobbed by fans."
The hopefuls - who are working hard ahead of their Halloween-themed performances this Saturday (01.11.14) - are set to be joined on stage by series judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini this week as she performs during the results show on Sunday (02.11.14).
Meanwhile, The X Factor's choreographer Brian Friedman confessed he is "thrilled" to be working with the 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' hitmaker and credited her for her hard working attitude and spirit during rehearsals.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm choreographing Cheryl's performance on the show this weekend. It's the first time I have ever worked with her in any capacity outside of being her creative director for X Factor, so I'm thrilled.
"In rehearsals she has been a dream artist to work with. She is a great dancer, she has great spirit and energy and she is a hard worker. It's been a while since she did the show, so it will be amazing to get back into that gear. I can't wait for it to hit the stage."
Fran Parman has called time on her relationship with James 'Diags' Bennewith after finding "naked" pictures of other women on his phone.
In last night's (29.10.14) episode of ITVBe's 'The Only Way Is Essex' James was seen breaking down as he confessed to best pal Tom Pearce that Fran had ended their relationship, insisting she didn't love him anymore.
He said: "Fran is saying she's seen pictures on my phone. Of three girls in underwear."
Quizzed on whether Fran had broken up with him, Diags added: "Yeah. I don't know what to do. She says she don't want to be near me, she says I'm disgusting. She don't even love me, I don't know what to do."
The former couple later met up for crisis talks as Diags attempted to build bridges with a furious Fran - who has recently been complaining about his laziness.
He pleaded: "I understand the pictures were bad. But these were from over two years ago. I didn't even know they were there.
"I've done nothing for you not to trust me. I back you with everything. I'm so, so sorry for having those pictures on my phone."
However, appearing unfazed by his apology, Fran stormed off claiming she'd been experiencing "insecurity issues" thanks to past relationships.
Derek Martin is to return to 'EastEnders' next year.
The 81-year-old actor will reprise his role as former cab driver Charlie Slater later this year after being axed from the BBC One soap in 2011, and he's confessed he's looking forward to reuniting with his "family".
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "In December and January, I am going back to make a couple of episodes. I don't know what the storyline is but I am booked.
"Charlie is living with one of his daughters in Manchester and I think I have gone on holiday somewhere, Lanzarote or something.
"I was in full-time between 2000 to 2011 and it becomes like a family. When you leave or get written out it is like a loss."
Derek - whose character Charlie is father to Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) - hints his return may come as his family, which also includes mother-in-law Mo Harris (Laila Morse) and his great niece Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner), need him most.
He added: "They need the head of the family don't they?"
Charlie has previously been involved in a number of dramatic storylines, including one in which he was arrested for attacking Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney) after discovering he'd raped his daughter Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth).
Nick Jonas thinks it would be "ideal" to get married.
The 'Jealous' singer is smitten with beauty queen Olivia Culpo - who he has been dating for 18 months - and would love to make their union official one day.
Speaking on 'Access Hollywood Live', he gushed: "I met her at a Fashion Week party a couple years back. It's been an amazing year and a half now. She's the best."
Asked if he is considering marriage, he added: "At some point. It would be ideal [to settle down], but we're still quite young and we're going on a journey."
Nick, 22, has recently been showing off his muscular physique and though it "feels good" to be in such great shape, he insists he doesn't spend his time admiring his buff body.
He said: "In a way, I feel like it was a combination of things, just getting older, growing up and then shooting this TV show 'Kingdom'.
"It feels good to feel healthy, but I'm not sitting there looking in the mirror."
The former Jonas Brothers singer recently launched a solo career and is excited about releasing his self-titled album as the response to his single 'Jealous' has been "incredible".
He said: "I'm thrilled to have music that I'm so passionate about that I love.
"The response to 'Jealous' has been incredible and I'm ready to get the whole thing out there!"
It was recently claimed Nick was planning to propose to Olivia by the end of this year.
A source said: "Nick has told everyone that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. They are obsessed with each other and he has even said that he wants to ask her to marry him by the New Year!"
Keith Urban has "carried" Nicole Kidman through the last month.
The 47-year-old actress was left devastated when her beloved dad Antony passed away last month and she admits she wouldn't have got through her grief if it wasn't for her "amazing" husband.
She said: "I have to say. I love saying this because he should be just adored. He has been so good to me for nine years, but for the last sort of month, which has been a really tough time for me... "When you have your partner who just literally carries you through a tough time. And he's been amazing to me. I recently lost my father and to have my husband just step up that way it makes me cry. He's amazing
"Literally at times, to be carried by your partner, physically at times because I was so devastated, it's like I'll do anything for that man."
The 'Before I Go to Sleep' actress - who has daughters Sunday, six, and Faith, three with Keith, and adopted Isabella, 21, and Conor, 19, with ex-husband Tom Cruise - also admitted she was "amazed" at the outpouring of "love" she had experienced from other people since her father passed away.
She said: "I'm amazed when people reach out, because it's an awkward thing at times, but to have people go, 'I'm so sorry for your loss' -- the power of that and even a note or anything. I've gotten so much love from people."
And Nicole says her own experiences has made her realise how little we talk about death with one another.
She added to Ellen DeGeneres in an interview airing today (30.10.14): "I've realised we don't talk about it [death] enough in terms of our society. Because at some point in our lives we're gonna go through [it], everybody loses their parents. It's awful. I'm sorry to bring everybody down but at the same time I'm trying to navigate through something right now."
Rihanna splashed out $135,000 on two items at the 2014 amfAR Gala last night (29.10.14).
The 26-year-old star forked out $100,000 on photograph 'Elizabeth Taylor at the Eden Roc', which was signed and numbered by artist Willy Rizzo, as well as a further $35,000 on Harry Winston diamond link earrings containing 72 diamonds and set in platinum.
As well as splashing the cash at the event at Milk Studios, Hollywood, the raven-haired beauty took to the stage to present the Inspiration Award on behalf of amfAR - the foundation for Aids research - to designer Tom Ford, and praised him for being a fashion "genius".
Before inviting the 53-year-old star onto the stage to collect his prize, she told the crowd: "I'm thrilled to be here tonight to present amfAR's award of inspiration to one of the world's most admired and creative, accomplished designers.
"Tom Ford's genius spans the entire spectrum of style, from the suave elegance of James Bond to womenswear and accessories with an attitude.
"Everyone looks good in Tom Ford. He brings the same sophistication and talent to everything he does, whether it's transforming the fortunes of Gucci or creating and building his own now-iconic brand.
"Tonight we honour Tom Ford for both his incredible talent as well as what he stands for. We honour him for inspiring us with his creative genius, his leadership, his integrity and generosity.
"We honour him for doing good while making us look good."
Rihanna sat on the same table as her long-time friend Justin Timberlake - who she collaborated with on her track 'Cold Case Of Love', which appeared on her 2009 album 'Rated R' - and dazzled in a white dress which featured nude breast panels.
While her modesty was covered thanks to several purple sequins, the star took to the opportunity to show off her stunning slim pins courtesy of the gown's hip-high split which also enabled her to show off her black stockings.
Miley Cyrus, who was joined by her mother Tish, also left little to the imagination at the star-studded event - which raises money for amfAR's Aids research programmes - in a bondage-style dress which barely covered up her assets.
Several other stars also attended the gala, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGowan, Lea Michele and Brazilian beauty Alessandra Ambrosio.
Robbie Williams has named his son Charlton Valentine.
The singer and his wife Ayda Field have picked the moniker for their newborn son, whose birth at the beginning of this week was documented in a series of videos posted by the 'Candy' hitmaker on his own website, RobbieWilliams.com, and on YouTube.
The couple revealed the name of their baby in a new video uploaded to both sites and to Twitter, entitled "Charlton Valentine Williams has left the building... and Daddy is doing just fine (sic)".
In the 23-second clip, Ayda is seen pushing a wheelchair in which Robbie - who is wearing sunglasses - is sat holding their son.
As she pushes her husband down the corridor of the US hospital in silence, Ayda then lets out a joke sigh as she turns the wheelchair to leave.
Charlton weighed 8lbs 2oz when he was born on Monday (27.10.14) and after his arrival, Robbie posted on social media: "No Moms Were Harmed Thank you for sharing the journey with us, we have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy. RW x (sic)"
In the series of birthing videos the former Take That star posted online, he was seen singing his own tracks to Ayda as well as crooning through 'Let It Go' from the Disney movie 'Frozen' as she endured the 14-hour labour.
The 40-year-old pop star and actress Ayda, 35, also have a daughter, two-year-old Theodora 'Teddy' Rose.
Motley Crue don't socialise offstage.
The legendary rockers - comprising bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, guitarist Mick Mars, and singer Vince Neil - are currently in the midst of their last-ever tour and relations between the quartet are so bad, each member has their own "party room" and they all travel separately to gigs.
Hat designer Ivy Supersonic told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column backstage at their Madison Square Garden gig on Tuesday (28.10.14): "Tommy and Vince don't get along.
"Each band member has their own party, in their own party room. They have separate tour busses as well."
The group announced in January they were separating after 33 years together and even signed a legal document vowing no more tours after their final one ends next year.
Explaining why they were splitting, Nikki said: "We want to leave a legacy and have dignity. We want to call it a day and be proud."
Tommy added: "Everything must come to an end. We always had a vision of going out with a big f*****g bang and not playing county fairs and clubs with one or two original band members! Our job here is done."
Ant and Dec will host the 2015 Brit Awards with Mastercard.
The 'Saturday Night Takeaway' stars - who first fronted the ceremony in 2001 - are "really excited" to have been chosen to present next year's ceremony.
They said in a statement: "We're really excited to be hosting the Brits again, it is undoubtedly the biggest night in the British music calendar."
And the pair - whose real names are Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - joked they will be giving out tips on achieving chart success after their 1994 single 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble' went to number one last year after it was re-released following a 'Saturday Night Takeaway' sketch.
They added: "We're especially excited now we're number recording artists ourselves.
"We'll be offering our advice to the fledgling pop stars backstage as to how to have a number one, as long as they're prepared to wait 19 years to top the charts!"
Brits bosses are thrilled to have landed the duo to replace James Corden, who has presented the show for the last five years.
Brits chairman Max Lousada said: "Ant and Dec are two of the most popular TV broadcasters this country has ever produced and it's a real honour to have them take centre stage once again to host the Brits."
Next year's ceremony will take place at London's O2 Arena on February 25.
Plot details of 'Terminator: Genisys' have been revealed.
In the upcoming film, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator will raise the character of Sarah Connor, who was orphaned at the age of nine and has spent the majority of her life being protected by a terminator.
Reflecting on the plot of the much-anticipated new film, producer David Ellison told Entertainment Weekly: "Since she was 9 years old, she has been told everything that was supposed to happen.
"But Sarah fundamentally rejects that destiny. She says, 'That's not what I want to do'. It's her decision that drives the story in a very different direction."
The role of Sarah will be played by 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke, 27, while other actors and actresses set to feature include the likes of Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, Dayo Okeniyi, Courtney B Vance, Matt Smith and Byung-hun Lee.
Paramount - the movie studio behind the films - recently announced plans to release two sequels in the franchise for 2017 and 2018, which will be produced back to back.
Meanwhile, 'Terminator: Genisys' is set to hit cinema screens on both sides of the Atlantic in the summer of 2015.
Matthew McConaughey has revealed Chewbacca is his all-time favourite sci-fi character.
The 44-year-old actor stars in Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi film 'Interstellar' - which also features the likes of Sir Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway - and speaking in London yesterday (29.10.14), McConaughey named the character from the 'Star Wars' franchise as his top pick.
The rest of the star-studded cast also named their favourite sci-fi characters, with the 'Star Wars' franchise playing a prominent role.
Chastain named Princess Leia among her top picks, while Hathaway cited R2-D2 as her favourite.
Similarly, Mackenzie Foy, 13, said she couldn't choose between 'Star Wars' character Darth Vader and Spock of 'Star Trek'.
By contrast, Caine, 81, cited Sandra Bullock's character in 'Gravity', Dr. Ryan Stone, as top of his list.
'Interstellar' is the sixth movie Caine has made with Nolan and speaking during 'A Night Out With... Sir Michael Caine' at the Royal Albert Hall in London earlier this month, he described the filmmaker as his "lucky charm".
He said: "Me and Christopher have now done six movies. He always says I'm his lucky charm and I'm always saying he's my lucky charm. It's been an incredible ride."
