Eva Longoria is glad she wasn’t a teen sensation

Eva Longoria is glad she became "famous quite late in life."
The 39-year-old actress says she was "very set in my identity" when she shot to fame in 'Desperate Housewives' in 2004 and believes being older helped her avoid getting into trouble in Hollywood.
Speaking at the Dublin Web Summit in Ireland on Tuesday (04.11.14), the brunette beauty said: "I became famous quite late in life, according to Hollywood standards. I was 28 or 29. I already had my Bachelor's degree, I went to college, I was very set in my identity prior to this thing called fame.
"If you let the tabloids, the news or the media define you as 'America's sweetheart' or 'America's party girl,' and you kind of go in that direction, that's when you can get into trouble. That didn't happen to me because I was so set in who I was, it just kind of falls off my shoulders."
Eva also doesn't feel pressure to maintain her youthful appearance, according to the Irish Independent newspaper.
She said: "I'm still young, so I haven't experienced the ageism yet. I was on a show called 'Desperate Housewives,' where most of the female leads were over the age of 40 and it became a global phenomenon."
She aded: "People tend to put women in boxes - she's sexy, she's smart, she's ambitious, she's a mom, she's young... where women are very complex and the greatest advantage we have is that we're always underestimated."
After taking a break from acting to focus on producing, Eva plans to return to TV next year.
She said: "I probably will be returning to television next year in a new show. I don't know what it is yet, but stay tuned."

Kim Kardashian is using ‘fertility monitors’

Khloé Kardashian has revealed Kim Kardashian is using "fertility monitors."
The 30-year-old reality TV star admits her older sister, who has daughter North, 16 months, with husband Kanye West, is desperate to get pregnant again as soon as possible.
Asked if she thinks Kim, 34, will be expecting her second child by early next year, the 'Kourtney & Khloé Take The Hamptons' star told E! News: "I don't know. I know she wants one and she's trying for one. They're not doing anything to stop it. You know, on those fertility monitors and everything, figuring it out."
Meanwhile, the reality TV star, who filed for divorce from Lamar Odom last December after four years of marriage, avoided confirming whether she has rekindled her relationship with French Montana.
She said: "We all miss French. We love French."
Asked if they're definitely no longer together, she said: "Well you know, yeah..."
The 'Don't Panic' hitmaker attended her half-sister Kendall Jenner's 19th birthday party in Los Angeles on Monday night (03.11.14), just days after he confessed he still has feeling for Khloé and said she will be his "baby forever."

Hilary Duff feels ‘densitised’

Hilary Duff feels "a bit desensitised" following her split from Mike Comrie.
The 27-year-old star, who has son Luca, two, with the retired professional ice hockey player, admits she couldn't have coped with all the negative attention she received when they announced their separation in January after three years of marriage without a "good therapist."
Asked how she handled the difficult time, the 'All About You' hitmaker told the December issue of Elle Canada magazine: "I have a good therapist! I've dealt with [attention] for such a long time. But some of the bigger struggles that came my way in the past two years - like my separation or when my parents separated - were the first times I had to deal with people knowing about something personal happening to my family. It just felt so invasive and insensitive. It got really gross, and I think part of you gets a bit desensitised. The best way to handle it is by just owning your s**t. I'm human and this is what happened. None of us is perfect."
The blonde beauty and Mike, 34, have been working on their relationship for much of the past year and were spotted holding hands at a Halloween party late last month, sparking rumours their marriage is back on track.
Meanwhile, their son Luca is beginning to realise Hilary is famous.
She said: "I think he's starting to figure it out, but I don't really know what he thinks yet. I don't tell him anything about my job, but he knows Mommy's a singer and an actress. We have this book called 'Goodnight Los Angeles'. It's like, 'Goodnight, movie stars and entertainers of Los Angeles!' and it shows people working on a set and having their names in lights. Mike's always telling Luca 'This is where Mommy is!' when I'm at work."

Britney Spears is dating producer

Britney Spears is reportedly dating Charlie Ebersol.
The 'Perfume' singer, who split from legal researcher David Lucado in August after 18 months of dating, amid rumours he cheated on her, is "having a lot of fun" with the producer and director after they were introduced by mutual friends.
A source told E! News: "They met through friends and although they're not yet super serious, they're having a lot of fun together."
Charlie, 31, was previously linked to Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova in 2008 and dated 'One Tree Hill' actress Sophia Bush in 2012.
Britney insisted in September that she was enjoying the single life.
The 'Criminal' singer said: "I am pretty damn happy right now.
"It's all about setting yourself a goal and going for that and just being motivated and staying true to yourself."
The 32-year-old star has sons, Sean, nine, and son, Jayden, eight, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she split from in 2007 after three years of marriage.
The blonde beauty previously admitted she hopes to get married again and have a baby girl in the future.
Asked about her future goals, she said: "I would like to be busy the first couple of years, but then I would really like to have another baby, a girl.
"I think she would be like a mini-me. I think it's going to be crazy."

Iggy Azalea’s boyfriend is planning to propose?

Iggy Azalea and her boyfriend have talked about getting married "a couple times."
The 'Black Widow' singer's beau Nick Young has confessed he is smitten with the Australian rapper, 24, and hinted they are close to getting engaged.
The Los Angeles Lakers player told DuJour magazine: "Me and Iggy just bought a house. We've been getting really close lately. I've never been with somebody like this."
Asked if they have talked about tying the knot, the 29-year-old star admitted: "It's come up a couple times."
The couple started dating approximately one year ago and despite being very happy together, Nick admitted they still "argue all the time."
He said: "We fight over the TV remote because she watches TLC and the Weather Channel all night. We argue all the time, but we get it worked out. We understand each other."
He added: "I like shopping a lot, but Iggy's been on my back saying I should get a stylist. She picked out my outfit for the ESPY [Awards] and everybody loved it, so now she thinks she's my stylist."

Lena Dunham apologises for being ‘insensitive’

Lena Dunham has apologised for joking about being a "sexual predator" in her memoir.
The 'Girls' creator and star - who was recently accused by right-wing blog Truth Revolt of sexually abusing her sister, Grace Dunham, now 22, because of a passage in her new book, 'Not That Kind Of Girl,' in which she recalls leaning down between her then one-year-old sibling's legs to "carefully spread open her vagina," and shrieking when she discovered it was full of "six or seven pebbles" - insists she does "not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances" and didn't mean to be "insensitive."
In a statement to Time.com today (04.11.14), the 28-year-old Golden Globe winning actress said: "I am dismayed over the recent interpretation of events described in my book 'Not That Kind of Girl'.
"First and foremost, I want to be very clear that I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances.
"Childhood sexual abuse is a life-shattering event for so many, and I have been vocal about the rights of survivors. If the situations described in my book have been painful or triggering for people to read, I am sorry, as that was never my intention. I am also aware that the comic use of the term 'sexual predator' was insensitive, and I'm sorry for that as well."
She added: "As for my sibling, Grace, she is my best friend, and anything I have written about her has been published with her approval."
Lena initially reacted with anger after Truth Revolt wrote a blog post last Thursday (30.10.14) entitled 'Lena Dunham Describes Sexually Abusing Her Little Sister' and branded it "disgusting" for taking an excerpt from her book out of context.
She wrote on Twitter on Saturday (01.11.14): "The right wing news story that I molested my little sister isn't just LOL- it's really f**king upsetting and disgusting.
"I told a story about being a weird 7 year old. I bet you have some too, old men, that I'd rather not hear. And yes, this is a rage spiral. (sic)"

Matthew McConaughey cried over movie

Matthew McConaughey "cried three times" while watching 'Interstellar'.
The 45-year-old actor, who stars alongside Anne Hathaway in the new sci-fi adventure, also burst into tears several times while shooting some scenes for the film.
Speaking at the New York premiere of the movie on Monday night (03.11.14), the Oscar-winner told PEOPLE.com: "I watched it, and I cried three times."
He added: "It throttled me."
Matthew, who has three children, Levi, six, Vida, four, and Livingston, 22 months, with model wife Camila Alves, found it very emotional because much of the story focuses on his character Cooper's relationship with his daughter.
He said: "Even if you don't care that much about the science of it or even the love story between a parent and a child, you just want to go for the wild, epic ride it is."
The movie also made Matthew appreciate the amount of time he gets to spend with his own family even more.
He said: "There hasn't been a promise or a goodbye like Cooper has to go through with his daughter in this. I'm very fortunate: I get to take my family with me when I go to work, so my goodbyes so far haven't had to be so long."

Joan Rivers to be replaced by Kathy Griffin?

Kathy Griffin has been offered Joan Rivers' spot on 'Fashion Police'.
The 54-year-old comedienne claims was approached to replace the late star - who died from complications while undergoing a minor operation on her vocal cords in September - on the E! series alongside Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George George Kotsiopoulos, but isn't sure if she wants the job.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "They did offer it to me."
But she added: "I don't know if the situation is correct at this time for me, or right for me at this time."
Although she hasn't officially rejected the offer, Katy hopes that whoever becomes the late icon's successor doesn't try to change the show.
She said: "I really hope they continue in the spirit of Joan's work. She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humor into our homes that we really need. Somebody's gotta be out there poking fun at the ridiculousness of all this!"
Kelly, 29, previously admitted she didn't want anyone to replace Joan when the series returns early next year.
In September, she tweeted: "#enough already!!! yes @e_FashionPolice Will be back in January but NO ONE WILL REPLACE @Joan_Rivers! (sic)"
Following Joan's death, E! ! confirmed the show would continue after receiving the blessing of her daughter Melissa, who produces the series.
A spokesperson said in a statement: "We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. 'Fashion Police' will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time."

Kris Jenner learned a lot from divorce

Kris Jenner learned a lot from her first divorce.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who split from Bruce Jenner in October 2013 after 23 years of marriage, says her split from her late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, in 1991 was initially "ugly and hard" and is determined to stay on good terms with the Olympic gold medallist, 64, for the sake of their family.
She told 'The Talk': "I went through a divorce a long time ago with Robert Kardashian and it was not fun. It was so scary and I was so young and I had four kids and it was... and then we ended up being best friends. But there was a period of a couple of years in there where it was really, you know, ugly and hard. You didn't want the kids to take sides."
She added: "Well, that was a really good learning experience for me, because I learned how to deal with something again, if I ever...if it ever came up and now we're going through it. You can choose to do things in a real grown-up way and be friends through something and make it so that everyone around you is comfortable and happy.
"Divorce is a decision. It's not a good decision but we're happier living apart than we were together. Everybody feels it. But anything can happen. And the good in my life so outweighs the bad."
Kris, who is set to celebrate her 59th birthday on Wednesday (05.11.14), recently started dating Justin Bieber's road manager Corey Gamble, 41, and likes "to look at the glass half-full."
She said: "So every day, I get up and count my blessings and I thank god that everyone is happy and healthy and strong and we'll get through."

Amanda Bynes wants a ‘different conservator’

Amanda Bynes wants a "different conservator" to replace her mother.
The 28-year-old actress, who was recently released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California after being involuntarily committed for the second time on October 10, isn't currently speaking to Lynn Bynes, who was placed in control of the 'Easy A' star's welfare and finances via a conservatorship last week, and she wants someone else to be instated as her legal guardian.
The blonde beauty wrote on Twitter: "I'm not living with my parents
"I'm not legally obligated to.
"My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved (sic)"
She later suggested a friend had posted the tweets, but then added: "I'm so mad at my parents
"They are with holding my belongings and money from me so I don't have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment
"We aren't speaking
"So until I get a different conservator ill look terrible because I don't have enough to get new clothes or anything I need (sic)"
It was previously reported that the 'What I Like About You' star is living off gift cards.
A source said Lynn and her father, Rick Bynes, are too "burnt out" to let her continue living with them and give the cards to Amanda's court-appointed lawyer who then passes them on to her to cover her living expenses.
A lawyer claiming to represent Amanda asked a judge to remove Lynn's ability to make decisions on the troubled star's behalf on Friday (31.10.14), but the judge ruled the actress lacked the capacity to enter into a binding contract or hire a lawyer, so he refused to allow the hearing to go ahead.

Ryan Gosling video calls his baby constantly

Ryan Gosling reportedly video calls his seven-week-old daughter "constantly."
The 33-year-old actor, whose girlfriend Eva Mendes gave birth to their first child, Esmerelda Amada, in September, has become addicted to FaceTime while filming his upcoming movie, 'The Nice Guys,' in Atlanta, as he hates being apart from them.
A source told E! News that the star is in constant contact with Eva and their little girl and he also made a quick trip back to Los Angeles over the weekend to see them.
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old 'Hitch' actress is relying on her mother, Eva Perez Suarez, to help her care for Esmerelda while Ryan is working.
The insider said: "While Ryan is gone, her mom has been spending a lot of time helping her. His mom comes too, but her mom is the mainstay."
The brunette beauty was recently spotted showing off her trim post-pregnancy figure, but hasn't embarked on a drastic diet.
The source said: "Eva's flattered that people think she looks good, but she's not taking complete credit for it. She knows genetics plays a big role. She has great genes.
"Overall, she's trying to eat only when hungry and not snack too much. For her splurges, her mom's been cooking her traditional Spanish dishes. Those are her treats."
