A tender Kim Kardashian gave her daughter North West a gentle kiss on the head as they navigated LAX airport in Los Angeles last night (05.11.14). The 34-year-old mother had taken great care with her 16-month-old baby's wardrobe as she dressed her litt...
Britain's Sophie, Countess of Wessex is to officially open the new Country Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue headquarters today (06.11.14).
The 49-year-old royal - who is the wife of Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, Prince Edward - will attend the official opening of the building in Durham, where she will be shown the command and control centre, which has been in operation since last month.
The Countess will watch a number of exercises involving the service's fire investigation dog, Scrappy, an aerial ladder platform and water rescue crews and will also meet with members of the Young Firefighters Association before unveiling a plaque.
Brigade chief executive Susan Johnson told the Northern Echo newspaper: "We are very pleased that the Countess of Wessex is able to visit us to see our new headquarters and hear about the vital work that we are doing."
Her Royal Highness will then to travel to Sunderland Association Football Club's Stadium of Light to promote the proposed Beacon of Light facility, which would be a permanent home for the club's official charity, the Foundation of Light - for which the Countess is patron.
The foundation's chief executive Lesley Spuhler said: "We're delighted to welcome HRH Countess of Wessex back to the North-East to raise awareness of the exciting Beacon of Light project."
Britain's Duchess of Cornwall hopped on a London bus in Mexico today (06.11.14).
Duchess Camilla - who is currently enjoying the last day of her and her husband Prince Charles tour of the country - boarded the red routemaster with the First Lady Gretta Selinas during a visit to the industrial northern city of Monterrey.
The number 7 bus, which was emblazoned with the route London to Monterrey, took the 67-year-old royal a short distance across Fundidora Park, which is built on the site of industrial works and is the home to a museum showcasing the industrial achievements of the area.
The Duchess and First Lady - who is the wife of the governer of the local state of Nuevo Leon, Rodrigo Medina - stepped off of the vehicle at a canal in the park and embarked on a pleasure cruise around a series of waterways featuring cultural performances of dances and musicians along its route.
The man who restored the routemaster bus as a gift for his artists wife Marissa to use as a mobile gallery, Angel Tobar, said: "This is the first time the bus has been used and it was used to take Camilla on a trip - so that's a nice way to begin."
Speaking about his mission to rebuilt the automobile, he added: "My wife found it on the internet, it was in Arizona. It was taken from London in the late 1960s and it was originally owned by the man who bought London Bridge."
The Duchess missed out on the scheduled events for her and the Prince of Wales' penultimate day of their tour yesterday (05.11.14) because she was suffering with sinus problems.
One of the oldest artefacts owned by Britain's Queen Elizabeth will be among the items included in a new exhibition opening at the Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace tomorrow (07.11.14).
The Rillaton Cup - which is made of beaten gold - will be among the most impressive items in the Gold exhibition.
The display will run alongside the Cairo to Constantinople exhibition, which features a funerary stela, or tablet, belonging to Nakhtmontu from the 3rd century BC.
Explaining how the tablet made its way to the UK, Alessandro Nasini, co-curator of the Cairo to Constantinople exhibition, told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "The Prince of Wales was allowed to take part in an excavation in Thebes in March 1862, and in recognition of his status he was told he could keep anything that was found.
"The tablet was unearthed, along with a small mummy, both of which were brought back to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight and put on display there. The mummy has since gone missing, and may have been buried in a cemetery on the Isle of Wight, but in 1869 the prince returned to Egypt and brought back 19 mummies, which were given to museums around the country."
The Rillaton Cup, meanwhile, was discovered in a burial site on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, in the 1830s, with the monarchy assuming ownership of the piece under the rules of treasure trove.
Amanda Bynes' parents are to give up conservatorship of the actress.
The troubled actress' welfare and finances were put in the control of her mother Lynn Bynes last week, but now she and her husband Rick Bynes are to file legal documents to hand her care over to someone else ahead of their planned move to Texas.
According to TMZ, Amanda's welfare will be in the hands of a mental health professional who specialises in handling people with "severe mental illnesses", while financial matters will be handled by someone else.
Lynn and Rick - who are relocating from California to be close to their other daughter - are said to hope that transferring the conservatorship will stop the 'Easy A' star from lashing out at them and help repair their relationship with her.
Amanda's conservatorship attorney David Esquibias hasn't commented on the personal aspect changing, but did reveal her financial affairs are to be put in the charge of an unnamed private trust firm, in order to make them more accessible to the actress, noting the 28-year-old star currently has no stable home or the means to rent an apartment.
He told 'Access Hollywood': "My goal is to get her permanent adequate housing."
While the next scheduled conservatorship hearing isn't due to take place until February 2015, it is hoped the matter will be resolved by the end of this week.
The news comes after Amanda - who was recently released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California after being involuntarily committed for the second time on October 10 -hit out on Twitter and expressed her desire to have a new conservator.
She wrote: "I'm so mad at my parents
"They are with holding my belongings and money from me so I don't have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment
"We aren't speaking
"So until I get a different conservator ill look terrible because I don't have enough to get new clothes or anything I need (sic)"
Josh Hutcherson wants to eat human flesh.
The 22-year-old actor has admitted he would love to chow down on another human being if it wasn't such a taboo, but only if the person he was going to eat hadn't been killed to specifically feed his cannibalism cravings.
He said: "I don't want somebody to die for me to eat them.
"However, if someone happened to die from natural causes and it was not so taboo ... I'm curious.
"I want to know what it tastes like. Like you want to know what a pigeon tastes like, you know, except it's a human. We're all animals."
While he is keen to get his teeth into another human, his 'Hunger Games' co-star Jennifer Lawrence looks to be safe as Josh - whose character Peeta Mellark is romantically involved with Jennifer's alter-ego Katniss Everdeen in the franchise - admits he has never been sexually attracted to the 24-year-old beauty.
He added to GQ magazine: "If we were at all sexually attracted to each other, it would be the most intense relationship in the world.
"But there's never been an ounce of that between us. It's been brother and sister from the beginning."
Josh leapt to Jennifer's defence in September when he hit out at hackers who had leaked nude photos of the stunner online.
He said: "I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous.
"We're people to, man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it's not fair."
Britney Spears was presented with the Key to the City of Las Vegas' Strip yesterday (05.11.14).
The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker was honoured by Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak, who officially proclaimed the day to be 'Britney Day' and a host of other festivities took place in the city to mark the occasion.
A group of showgirls from Jubilee at Bally's Las Vegas performed a Britney-inspired routine to her hit 'Toxic' on the LINQ Promenade Fountain stage before stepping back and revealing the pop superstar with their iconic feathered fans at the end of the performance.
And the 32-year-old singer celebrated with hundreds of her namesakes as fans with any spelling variations of her name were invited to her show at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino - where she is almost a year into her concert residency - where they also received a special commemorative t-shirt, a complimentary ride on the High Roller and access to a special area to watch the concert.
The 'Womanizer' hitmaker also used the occasion to announce 36 extra performances of her Las Vegas show and reveal a partnership with Zappos and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF), where $1 of every ticket purchased to her residency will be donated to the charity.
She said: "I am so proud to join forces with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and support children and their families in need in my second home of Las Vegas, Nevada."
Britney is the 11th person to receive the Keys to the City of the Strip, following in the footsteps of the likes of chefs Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay and the cast of 'Last Vegas'.
Chris Martin is to join Jennifer Lawrence at the world premiere of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1'.
The 37-year-old star was reported to have split with the Oscar-winning actress last month, but it now appears their romance may be back on, with the Coldplay singer set to attend the event in London - although he will not appear on the red carpet.
A source close to the situation says Chris will do his "usual, fly-under-the-radar thing that he used to do with Gwyneth Paltrow", his now estranged wife.
Jennifer, 24, was spotted at the Malibu home of the singer for a heart-to-heart meeting last week and it's believed they've been together since the weekend.
The source told MailOnline: "They've mostly been holed up at Chris' house, and there were rumors that they were at one of Jen's regular haunts, Chateau Marmont, earlier in the week.
"Jennifer hasn't been talking about it - she's been uncharacteristically quiet about the whole thing.
"Chris is meant to be going with her to London to the Hunger Games world premiere. But he won't make a public appearance."
The insider said Jennifer was "adamant it was all over" last week, adding: "But she tends to move on fast in these matters.
"Her personal life seems to be in flux, but she's not letting all that is happening affect her promotional duties for Mockingjay."
This comes following a report earlier this week that the pair are still very much still a couple after Jennifer was spotted driving to Chris' Malibu mansion on Saturday (01.11.14).
An insider told PEOPLE magazine: "They're very much together.
"He's very much into her and they're still seeing each other."
The X Factor's Jake Quickenden has reportedly signed up for 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
The 26-year-old singer - who was voted off the ITV talent show last month - is said to have been signed up to provide "male eye candy" for the thousands of female viewers set to tune in when the reality series kicks off later this month.
A source revealed: "Jake was a big hit on 'The X Factor' and not just because of his voice. He's going to be the male eye candy in the jungle and a potential love interest for some of the female stars.
"ITV usually refrains from signing up reality stars unless they're household names. But they've made a special exception for Jake."
Jake, who was taken through to the live shows in Mel B's boys category after failing to get past the judge's houses with Nicole Scherzinger in 2012, has enjoyed work as a presenter on Chart Show TV but is said to be keen to promote himself in the jungle.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "Jake is hoping to get at least a modelling deal out of it."
Meanwhile, TV presenter Melanie Sykes, 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Gemma Collins and 'Hollyoaks' actress Gemma Merna are also reported to have agreed to try their luck in the Australian jungle, where they'll be tasked with completing Bushtucker trials that involve eating creepy crawlies and animal parts as well as performing terrifying stunts in return for food.
Simon Cowell is setting up dates for Stevi Ritchie.
The 'X Factor' hopeful was ditched by fellow contestant Chloe-Jasmine Whichello after a fling, and now his mentor, Simon Cowell, is helping him to find love.
The 34-year-old crooner explained: "Simon is going to set me up with five ladies apparently. He's trying to set me up with his PA. He's pimping me out but I don't mind.
"I don't know who the rest are but I doubt they would be below his standards."
The singer - who performed a rendition of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Music of the Night' from 'Phantom of the Opera' on last week's Fright Night show - also revealed he is hoping having Simon play cupid for him will mean he gets more action in the bedroom.
He continued: "I have slept with more than ten women but less than 20. I have a high sex drive for a 34-year-old. I think it's because I missed out when I was younger. I didn't lose my virginity until I was 21."
The ITV contestant hasn't only been focusing on his naughty antics, however, and reflected on his position in the competition, acknowledging that his voice isn't as impressive as some of his co-stars.
He said: "I would say my voice is six or seven out of ten. I am the weakest singer in the competition but I do think I'm up there as the best performer with Fleur East."
Despite surviving on the singing contest for several weeks, the wannabe confessed that he sees no future in music after the programme, and instead wants to become a television host, like former 'X Factor' contestant Rylan Clark.
He added: "I would love to become a presenter. I know I'm not going to get a record contract but if I could have a TV career like Rylan Clark I'd be happy."
Luisa Zissman has asked a former porn star to be her bridesmaid.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star has asked her best friend and retired X-rated actress Rachael Lalji - who once worked as a Britney Spears "bum double" to be her bridesmaid in preparation for her wedding to business tycoon Andrew Collins.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Rachael is a dear friend of Luisa's so was always likely to be given the nod for the day. She met up with a couple of the bridesmaids this week to go dress shopping."
After announcing her proposal on Twitter in October, the 27-year-old beauty also revealed that her friend Doctor Leah Totton would be her bridesmaid, after they starred together on the ninth series of 'The Apprentice'.
Tweeting her congratulations to her friend, Dr Leah wrote: "YAY! Huge congrats & much luv to u both (sic)"
To which Luisa replied: "thanks bridesmaid (sic)"
Rounding out her wedding entourage, Luisa has reportedly asked her close friends Laura Mcleod and Georgia Clarke.
Her impending nuptials mark the second time that Luisa will be walking down the aisle, following her marriage to the entrepreneur Oliver Zissman in 2009.
The former couple - who have four-year-old daughter Dixie together - were divorced earlier this year.
Coronation Street's Michelle Connor is to be left heartbroken when her relationship with Steve McDonald collapses.
Michelle - who is played by Kym Marsh - will be left stunned when her partner Steve (Simon Gregson) walks away from their relationship after refusing to open up to her about his depression.
Steve has been suffering with the condition since the murder of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) but has chosen to keep his feelings to himself, driving a wedge between him and Michelle, resulting in their split.
Later this month Michelle will be seen crying on the shoulder of Steve's mum Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) before moving into best pal Carla Connor's (Alison King) house.
Speaking to Liz, Michelle says: "He's said nothing. No, 'Get out I hate you', or, 'It's not you, it's me'. This makes no sense. He just sat in the car staring at the window.
"The only time he showed any emotion was when I threatened to smash it up. It's over, he doesn't love me, he doesn't want me."
Liz then replies, saying: "I'm lost for words. This isn't about you, it's him, he's all over the place at the moment."
Michelle then leaves the Rovers Return pub - which Steve had bought as a gift to her earlier this year - with her bags and heads to Carla's, admitting she'd rather there was "another woman involved" than not know what's wrong.
Steve and Michelle were previously married on the soap before he had an affair with Becky Granger (Katherine Kelly).
Meanwhile, it's been revealed Simon - who plays Steve - has had to pull out of filming after being hit with a mystery illness, meaning Corrie bosses are having to rethink his current storylines.
