Charlie Ebersol's mother doesn't approve of Britney Spears.
Susan Saint James - whose TV producer son is dating the 'Toxic' hitmaker - reportedly "can't believe" that the couple is "getting serious".
A source close to Susan revealed: "Charlie introduced Britney to the both of them as his girlfriend. But they do not agree about her.
"Dick [Ebersol; Charlie's father] thinks it is great to see his son happy, but Susan wants him to be with someone not famous."
They also revealed that Susan doesn't think her son has made the "right choice".
The insider added to RadarOnline.com: "All Charlie's mother has ever wanted is for him to get married and have children.
"She just doesn't think Britney is the right choice."
Previously, a source revealed that Britney's family has done the opposite and given her boyfriend the seal of approval.
The source shared: "He does well financially and is very private.
"They don't have to worry about whether he is using Britney."
Meanwhile, the 'Piece of Me' hitmaker - who turned 33 on Tuesday (02.12.14) - received a personalised birthday cake from Charlie to mark the occasion.
A source previously explained: "Charlie has been a longtime client of Duff's Cakemix and he wanted to specifically design this for her from him.
"Every detail came straight from his creative, sweet brain."

Melissa Joan Hart's children are making her "broke".
The 38-year-old actress - who has three children: 8-year-old Mason Walter; Brady Hart, 6 and 2-year-old Tucker McFadden with husband Mark Wilkerson - says her wallet is shrinking because her kids are losing so many teeth.
She joked: "[My sons are] losing a lot of teeth right now. The Tooth Fairy has come a whole bunch.
"I'm going broke - she's going broke!"
The 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' star also admitted that her youngest is keeping her the busiest.
She explained: "Tucker is starting to get very spunky. He's got a lot of sass to him right now. A lot of talking back. A lot of his own opinions.
"That's fun and interesting, but it's hard not to laugh and make it a habit."
Meanwhile, Melissa has revealed that she is excited for to spend time with her family at Christmas.
She told PEOPLE.com: "We always have lots of family around so this will be the first time it will really just be about [husband, Mark Wilkerson] and our kids.
"It'll be [an] exciting, calm, quiet, peaceful Christmas ... which is weird because that doesn't really seem like Christmas to me. Christmas is chaos and family and lots of food and lots of people."

Taylor Swift has been "dating" Matt Healy for two months.
The 'Blank Space' hitmaker - whose previous boyfriends include Harry Styles and John Mayer - has reportedly been seeing The 1975 frontman since October.
A source revealed: "Taylor and Matty have been dating for approximately two months now. It started off as a mutual crush and has been blossoming more and more.
"They both have very busy schedules as The 1975 is touring and Taylor is promoting her album but whenever they can find time to be in the same city they do it."
The 24-year-old singer is believed to be quite smitten with the 'Chocolate' hitmaker.
The source continued to HollywoodLife.com: "Taylor thinks Matty is so adorable she can't help but fall for him."
Matt, 25, recently sparked rumours about the supposed couple, after revealing that the pair had swapped phone numbers.
He previously explained: "We exchanged numbers. Let's see what happens, she's a sensation.
When asked for his thoughts on Taylor, he added: "I wouldn't say no."
Meanwhile, Taylor recently revealed that she is "prioritising" friends over a romantic relationship.
She said: "[I'm] prioritising my girlfriends, my family and my music above everything else and trying things I never thought I'd try. I made the decision to spend time on my own and figure out who I am.
"When you're in love you tend to prioritise that other person's opinion and almost value it as much, if not more, thank your own opinion.
"When you take the other person out of the scenario and you're walking through life on your own, you end up figuring out what you actually like without anyone else's input."

Kristen Stewart is "suspicious" of Robert Pattinson's new girlfriend.
The 'Snow White and the Huntsman' star - who previously dated the 28-year-old actor - is reportedly annoyed at FKA twigs for "taking advantage" of the 'Twilight' star.
A source explained to HollywoodLife.com: "Kristen was already suspicious of her motives, but when she heard that FKA was straight up talking about Rob to the press, that confirmed it.
"She knows Rob wouldn't be okay with that. It's so obvious to Kristen that this girl is just taking advantage of Rob ... She's still very protective of Rob."
Meanwhile, FKA twigs - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - recently admitted that she finds it "challenging" being Robert's girlfriend but says it is worth it because she "loves" him.
Discussing her popularity with paparazzi, the 'Two Weeks' hitmaker said: "I look uncomfortable because I am uncomfortable. But then it's like, is this person in my life worth that? And he is, without question ... In comparison to how happy I am. And how I feel with him. It's 100 percent worth it.

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift have reportedly rekindled their friendship.
The One Direction star and the 24-year-old singer - who briefly dated in 2012 - were spotted drinking cocktails at the after party for the Victoria's Secret fashion show in west London on Tuesday night (02.12.14).
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper's 3am column: "All eyes were on Harry and Taylor when they turned up. People were desperate to see how they reacted to one another.
"It's really awkward, because they have so many friends who get on with both of them ... But they were actually fine. It seemed like they'd buried the hatchet. The drinks were flowing until 3am, when they snuck out of a rear exit five minutes apart to avoid being pictured together."
Taylor - who performed her track 'Style' at the event - attended the after party with Ellie Goulding, before heading to the London Edition hotel with model pals, Karlie Kloss and Lily Aldridge.

Meanwhile, a source recently revealed that Taylor would be "heartbroken" if the 20-year-old singer just wanted to be friends.

Kendra Wilkinson has branded Hank Baskett a "monster".
The 29-year-old television personality - whose husband allegedly had an affair with a transsexual model earlier this year - blasted the former NFL player when he tried to tell her his side of the story.
She said: "I was like, oh my god. This is a f***ing monster I married. This is a f***ing crazy, sick f**k that I married.
"I mean, I just gave birth. I had post-partum blues!"
Hank, 32, openly admitted that fear had caused him to approach the situation wrongly.
He explained: "I handled this wrong. I immediately froze. I was scared.
"I felt like I was going to lose everything - my wife and my kids - because I couldn't tell my true story to her."
When asked by Kendra why he took so long to come clean, he added: "I didn't go to you right away because I was scared of where we had been in our communication and how you had already been telling me that marriage isn't for you, there's more out there for you.

Kendra appeared to be upset by her husband's comments.

Kim Kardashian West is "determined" to make her relationship work.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who tied the knot with Kanye West, 37, earlier this year - is reportedly desperate for her marriage not to end up like her mother's, Kris Jenner, amidst rumours that Kim's nuptails are already on the rocks.
A source said: "Kim is determined to make this work because she does not want to ever have to go through what she is watching her mom and Bruce go through."
The 34-year-old television personality - who already has 17-month-old North with her husband - is hoping a new addition to the family will help smooth things over between the couple.
A family friend told RadarOnline.com: "[They are] not getting a divorce [and are] planning to have another child in the near future!
"She wants to have just one more baby and then she is done."
Meanwhile, Kanye's stepbrother, Hal Carmichael, recently revealed that the 'Stronger' hitmaker "protects" his wife by "controlling" her.
Hal said: "Kanye constantly worries about Kim and North because he knows the kidnap risk is high. Because of the lifestyle they lead, he has to think about it carefully nowadays.

Sofia Vergara is now an American citizen.
The 42-year-old Colombian - who moved to the US in her 20s - passed the oral exam needed for naturalisation with flying colours and she felt very "emotional" afterwards.
She said: "They make you [jump through hoops] because they have to make sure that you deserve to be part of the country.
"The most interesting thing for me was, they give you like a hundred questions that you have to learn, and then they give you a quiz, like a test.
"I got all questions perfect. Yes, all of them... I got all the questions!"
"You know what? It's a very emotional moment for me. It took me a lot of time to get my residence even though I was working here for a long time."
As well as the oral exam, the Modern Family' star - who has a 23-year-old son, Manolo, from a previous relationship and is dating actor Joe Manganiello - was also required to recite the Oath of Allegiance to align herself with the US and came up with a cunning way to ensure she passed that aspect too.
She explained to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "You swear that you're going to fight for the United States... I'm ready!

Ariana Grande believes her mother loves Nick Jonas' music more than her.
The 21-year-old pop star's mum Joan Grande is obsessed with Nick's hit song 'Jealous' and Ariana is sure she likes the track more than her or her brother Frankie Grande.
Ariana jokingly wrote on Twitter: "My mom loves @nickjonas' song "jealous" more than any of her children (sic)"
The 'Break Free' hitmaker has just got back to Los Angeles, California, after performing at the Victoria's Secret Show in London on Tuesday night (02.12.14) and she's very pleased to be home to see her family and pet dogs.
Ariana's arrival at LAX Airport was made more bearable when the paparazzi waiting for her at the airport didn't bother her for too many photos.
In other tweets, she revealed: "Back in Cali. it's gloomy and perfect. paradise awaits. pups n all ... Thanks to the paps at the airport for being nice, not terrifying, safe & sweet this am. even tho I was sleepwalking lmao. I appreciate itttt (sic)"
Ariana was seen clutching a Victoria's Secret blanket as she walked through the airport and she happily stopped to sign autographs for waiting fans.
She thrilled the audience at the Victoria's Secret Show by singing a medley of her hits, including 'Bang Bang' and 'Problem', as the Angels walked the catwalk.
Although her performance went great, backstage afterwards the singer was accidentally hit in the face by an Angel's wings.
She revealed: "A Victoria's Secret angel accidentally smacked me in the face with her wings and it was awesome."

Miley Cyrus smoked marijuana on stage last night (03.12.14).
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker donned a silver wig and stripped down to nipple pasties at her Art Basel show at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami and told the assembled crowd - which included her boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger and party organiser Tommy Hilfiger - she was breaking her usual rules for show day.
She said: "Usually I don't smoke weed and drink, well that's a lie ... usually I don't smoke weed and drink on show days, but I felt like it was fine in Miami."
Elsewhere during the show - which was largely formed of covers from artists including Led Zeppelin and Johnny Cash - Miley, 22, said she had been in a "dark place" followed by the death of her beloved dog Floyd in April and said his passing had been a "wake up call" as to how meaningless some of the things she had been doing were.
Before singing a song called 'Twinkle', which was inspired by a friend's dead cat speaking to her in a dream, she added: "This year has constantly challenged me, and that's why I started doing art."
The 'Party in the USA' singer was later joined on stage by Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, and the pair dressed as a giant rainbow to sing the Beatles' 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' flanked by people dressed in shark costumes, one as a giant mushroom and another man dressed as a penis with silver streamers.
Miley ended the show by pulling back her top to reveal the silver nipple pasties as fake five dollar bills bearing her face fell into the crowd.
As she left the stage, a giant silver balloon saying "F**k yeah Art Basel" was released.

Perrie Edwards is letting Zayn Malik go "with the flow" when it comes to the couple's wedding plans.
The loved-up pair, both 21, got engaged 16 months ago, and although the Little Mix singer is keen to tie the knot, she is prepared to wait until the couple aren't quite so busy before they start to plan their nuptials.
When asked if they had set a date for the ceremony, she told BANG Showbiz: "Nope, we have no idea, we're just going with the flow."
But when it comes to wedding plans, Perrie admitted they won't be rushing up the aisle anytime soon as they need to wait until their lives are less hectic in order for them to plan the "perfect" day.
Speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards at One Mayfair in London on Wednesday (03.12.14), she added: "We'll get there eventually when we're not too busy to make it perfect."
While their busy schedules leave them with hardly any quality time together, Perrie and Zayn recently enjoyed a romantic day out in Weymouth, Dorset, southern England, which prompted the 'Move' singer to say she is still very much in love with the hunk.
She added: "We're just happy to be engaged, enjoying it."

Abbey Clancy gets a bigger "buzz" from helping her family than she does from the perks of her fashion jobs.
The 28-year-old model - who regularly poses for lingerie brand Ultimo - is very proud of her career and the opportunities she has but she insists her motivation for being successful is to be able to provide for her loved ones.
Speaking in the January issue of Cosmopolitan magazine - of which she is the cover star - she said: "For a lot of people it's a massive deal to be on the front row at Fashion Week and look perfect. I don't go to be seen, I go to look at the collections, and support my friends, like Henry (Holland), Giles (Deacon) and Jonathan Saunders. As much as I love clothes and shopping, it doesn't drive me.
"No one can complain about earning good money, but for me it's being able to help my family out, put my brother and sister through school, take my family on holiday. That's where I get the biggest buzz, not buying a pair of £500 shoes."
Abbey - who has a three-year-old daughter, Sophia, with her husband, soccer player Peter Crouch - enjoys her career much more now than when she started off.
The blonde beauty - who finished as runner-up on 'Britain's Next Top Model' in 2006 when she was 20 - felt slightly intimidated by bigger stars when she first entered the fashion world but now she is confident in herself.
