Sammy Winward sparks reality TV bidding war

'Emmerdale' actress Sammy Winward has sparked a reality TV bidding war.
The blonde beauty announced she is leaving the ITV soap last week and has now been told to name her price following her claim she'll pick just one offer from 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' and 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
A source shared: "It was only revealed last week and already offers have come flooding in.
"Everyone is desperate to get Sammy but she will do only one of the shows."
The 29-year-old actress has played Katie Addyman in 'Emmerdale' for 13 years and despite being offered an increase on her £120,000-a-year salary by bosses as they begged her to stay, she's decided to leave her character behind.
Katie is set to re-marry former husband Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) in the soap's Christmas extravaganza but with Sammy now leaving the soap, it's been predicted the wedding won't go to plan.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She wants to go off and spread her wings and try some theatre work and other telly jobs. She is still only 29 but 'Emmerdale' is virtually everything she has ever known.
"Sammy knows if she doesn't leave now then she might still be in 'Emmerdale' in another 13 years and then she will be virtually part of the furniture.
"She is actually quite a private person and doesn't get a huge amount of exposure away from 'Emmerdale' but after 13 years on telly she is a piece of soap royalty so whoever gets her will expect to pay a high price because she won't come cheaply."

Vicki Michelle for Loose Women?

Vicki Michelle could be set for a seat on the 'Loose Women' panel.
The 'Allo Allo' star is said to have caught the eye of ITV producers who want to snap her up for the daytime chat show after watching her on 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
A source revealed: "Vicki will have so much to talk about when she leaves the Jungle it will make complete sense to get her on the show.
"She would most likely be invited on as a guest panelist, but if she did well and held her own with the other women then she could be invited back and in time could become a regular."
The 63-year-old actress has had an extensive career in television and theatre which producers are hoping will make her perfect for the programme, which also features former 'I'm A Celeb' contestants Janet Street Porter and Linda Robson
The insider continued: "Like many of the other women on the panel she has been in the showbiz industry a long time so has lots of experience and a cheeky sense of humour so she should fit right in.
"This will be great news for Vicki when she comes out, the Jungle is just the start of an exciting new adventure for her."
Before heading out to Australia, the former 'Emmerdale' star confessed she would be interested in appearing on the programme.
She said at the time: "A TV series or an interview programme - I'd be up for that.
"'Loose Women'? I'd be good on that one."

Sunetra Sarker had broken toe for two months

Sunetra Sarker competed on 'Strictly Come Dancing' with a broken toe for two months.
The 'Casualty' actress was voted off the BBC One celebrity dance contest last night (01.11.14) after losing the dance-off to former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright, and she's now revealed she's been hiding an injury since the second week of training.
She said: "My poor feet - I cracked a bone in my metatarsal in week two and it's been strapped up ever since.
"Every person who looked at it said 'rest!' but how could I? I had to learn the waltz, and then the foxtrot and then the samba!"
The 41-year-old star explained the bone broke when her professional dance partner Brendan Cole stood on her toe during rehearsals.
She continued: "I didn't think it was that bad at first, but then about three or four days later I realised I was hurting."
Sunetra confessed that although she gave the competition her all, even practising on the set of her BBC medical drama, she feels a sense of relief at being voted off.
She explained to The Sun newspaper: "I never knew I was taking on so much. Casualty is a five or six day a week job ... It has been hard, but also amazing. And there's only a couple of weeks of Strictly I'm not going to be involved in.
"But now I'm out I can finally give my toe a rest."

Peter Kay adds 10 more Phoenix Nights shows

Peter Kay has added an extra 10 dates to his 'Phoenix Nights' stage show.
The 41-year-old comedian is reuniting with the cast of the popular sitcom to raise money for Comic Relief and after the first two shows sold out in a matter of seconds, they will now perform a further 10.
Peter - who will reprise his roles as working man's club owner Brian Potter and doorman Max - announced last week he and co-stars Dave Spikey, Paddy McGuiness and others were getting back together for two nights at the Manchester Arena on January 31 and February 1 next year.
However, the venue was inundated with fans looking for tickets when they went on sale yesterday (01.12.14) resulting in them adding a further ten dates, meaning the show will now run until February 12, 2015, with all proceeds going to charity.
Speaking about his decision to bring 'Phoenix Nights' back over ten years after it last aired in 2002, Peter said: "Because I always like to do something for Comic Relief and this year I just thought, it'll take a year to probably organise ... I rang the cast and they overwhelmed me with their generosity."

Snooki has McDonalds after wedding

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi celebrated her marriage with a McDonalds meal.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star tied the knot with Jionni LaValle - with who she has children Lorenzo, two, and Giovanna, two months - at the St. Rose of Lima in New Jersey on Saturday (29.11.14) and, after overindulging on alcohol at the 'Great Gatsby'-themed reception at the Venetian banquet hall, the couple had a lazy day at home being "slobs" and watching TV.
She tweeted yesterday (30.11.14): "Hungover with my husband. (That will not get old) getting mcdonalds and being slobs together. Waiting for walking dead tonight (sic)"
The 27-year-old reality star loved her wedding day so much, she wants to get married again.
She also wrote: "I wanna get married again. Such an amazing experience celebrating the love between @JLaValle and I! Love u husband (sic)"
The lavish reception was attended by almost 500 guests - including Snooki's 15 bridesmaids - and boasted a bingo table, a white chocolate fountain and a Scotch and cigar bar.
All of those in attendance were given a bottle of Snooki's own fragrance as a gift.
Parts of the nuptials were filmed for Snooki's reality show, 'Snooki & JWoww', which airs on MTV.

Kit Harington’s show curse

Kit Harington thinks being in 'Game of Thrones' can be a "curse".
The 27-year-old actor portrays Jon Snow in the fantasy drama series and though he insists he "loves" working on the show, he is worried the role will haunt him forever.
He said: "'Game Of Thrones' is my life, it's my day job, I love it,' he said, adding, 'But honestly, if there is a curse of Thrones, it's a lifetime of having to talk about it."
Kit landed the role shortly after leaving drama school and he admits he would be "foolish" to wish things had happened differently.
He said: "It would be foolish to say I wish I'd gone through a period of longing. Because any actors going through a period of longing themselves would tear my f***ing face off."
The hunky star is forbidden from cutting his long curly locks between filming the show, and as a result he gets recognised a lot more than his co-stars.
He said: "I'm more recognisable in public than much better-known actors. So many people watch, and I go around looking like my character."
Since starring in 'Game of Thrones', Kit has gone on to land a number of movie roles in the likes of 'Pompeii', 'Testament of Youth' and 'Seventh Son' but he hasn't been very happy with all his work.
He admitted to the new issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "I won't name names and I won't name films but I've sat through private screenings, nearly in tears. Hating it. Thinking; this is the end, everything's over."

Jerry Hall slams ‘idiotic women’ for having surgery

Jerry Hall has hit out at "idiotic older women" for turning themselves into "pathetic, insecure creatures" by having surgery.
The 58-year-old actress has slammed "normal women" who go under the knife in an attempt to improve their looks because she doesn't understand why they want to risk their lives by transforming into "a grotesque caricature" of themselves.
She said: "Older women aren't valued, because they can't procreate, right? But they should be valued for their experience, wisdom and power.
"So it's idiotic when they risk their lives to have surgery. Every time you have anesthesia you're killing a lot of brain cells - why would you do that? You could get infections, you could die.
"Why make yourself look a grotesque caricature of yourself? They don't fool anyone. They look like pathetic, insecure creatures. I loathe the whole thing.
"I don't mean to be critical, and I understand actresses feel the pressure in Hollywood, they have to do it. I respect that and I feel sorry that they have to.
"But for normal women to do it? If men want to leave their wife for a 19 year old, they're gonna do it anyway. All the facelifts and Botox in the world isn't going to change that guy, you know?"
Jerry's comments come after she left ex-husband Sir Mick Jagger when he fathered a child, Lucas - who is now 15 years old - with Brazilian model Luciana Morad, and while she is still good friends with The Rolling Stones frontman, the former model admits she doesn't want to spend her "old age" with him.
The blonde star - who has children, Elizabeth, 30, James, 29, Georgia May, 22, and 16-year-old Gabriel with Mick - added to HELLO! magazine: "I left him. He was begging me to stay. He never left me. He was unfaithful to the point where he had a baby. That was too much.
"It was exhausting. But we're still friends. I genuinely like him - he's funny, he's clever, he tries this best and he is also a great father.
"Why would I want to make trouble? I chose really well - my children are smart, beautiful and talented, so I feel no regrets.
"But he's not the sort of person I want to spend my old age with. Life changes and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Why shouldn't life change? Move on."

FKA Twigs is in ‘love’ with Robert Pattinson

FKA Twigs says it's "challenging" being Robert Pattinson's girlfriend but it's worth it because she is in "love" with him.
The 26-year-old singer embarked on a relationship with the 'Twilight' actor earlier this year and admits it's been tough dating one of the most famous men in the world because of the constant interest in their romance.
However, FKA insists she's willing to put up with the negative aspects of their life together because of how "happy" he has made her.
Discussing becoming a favourite with the paparazzi, she said: "I look uncomfortable because I am uncomfortable. But then it's like, is this person in my life worth that? And he is, without question ... In comparison to how happy I am. And how I feel with him. It's 100 percent worth it."
In an interview with The Observer newspaper, she added: "That side of my life [the paparazzi] is nothing to do with me. That's, like, that is the ... side of life of the man that I love. And ... when that started happening I had to. Because that is the opposite of who I am as a person, and it was weird ... Then I had to sit back and have a conversation with myself and I had to say, 'That is something really horrible.' No, not horrible, I don't find it horrible, it's something that's very challenging."
FKA - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - accepts she has now achieved a certain level of fame because of her actor boyfriend, but she will not allow herself to get complacent with her music because she is yet to achieve her goals in the industry.
The 26-year-old pop star said: "Oh, I'm nothing. I'm nothing right now. I think it's easy to sit in this trendy cafe, in a trendy little area of New York, and say, 'Ooh, I'm FKA Twigs.' But outside of these four blocks, does anybody really give a s**t? Probably not."

Eddie Redmayne’s ‘catastrophic’ Star Wars audition

Eddie Redmayne had a "catastrophic" audition for 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens'.
The 32-year-old actor admitted to having a particularly bad audition for an unnamed role in the eighth instalment of the science-fiction saga which resulted in "crushing" his "childhood dream".
Recalling the embarrassing incident, Eddie said: "My 'Star Wars' audition was pretty catastrophically bad. There's this wonderful casting director called Nina Gold, who I absolutely love.
"I went in and did this scene, and after seven times of trying to play ... [Gold] was like, 'Got anything else, Eddie?'
"I said, 'OK, that's a childhood dream crushed.'"
Eddie then explained how he also ruined an audition for the 'The Hobbit' as he tried to win the role of Bilbo Baggins, which eventually went to Martin Freeman.
In a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Eddie shared: "I did a very awful audition for 'The Hobbit' too - trying to do my Bilbo Baggins impression."
However, the handsome actor managed to successfully land a role in at least one science based movie.
Next year, Eddie will join Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum in the space opera, 'Jupiter Ascending', which is due out in cinemas from February 2015.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have secret cameo in Annie

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a secret cameo in 'Annie'.
The new parents - who welcomed their baby girl Wyatt Isabelle in September - will reportedly star in a film within 'Annie', called 'Moonquake Lake'.
According to Confident@l, the movie's father figure Will Stacks, played by Jamie Foxx and the titular star, played by the 11-year-old actress Quvenzhane Wallis go to the cinema to see the film, where the real-life couple play lovers.
Mila, 31, and Ashton, 36, will then be confronted by a blue villain, played by the pop star Rihanna.
'Back to the Future' actor Michael J. Fox will make a cameo appearance in the film as he endorses the fictional mayor of New York City.
While 'Saturday Night Live' member Bobby Moynihan stars in the final scene of the movie as a "rude and mouthy bar patron" who makes fun of Will Stacks.
The remake of the classic 1982 film - which originally starred Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan and Aileen Quinn as Annie - has been produced by Jay Z and Will Smith.
Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne are also set to star in the film, which is due out in cinemas from December 25.

Take That will be back as five-piece

Take That will return as a five-piece in 2017.
The 'Patience' hitmakers reunited with former member Robbie Williams on their 2010 album 'Progress' and though the 'Angels' singer isn't a part of new record 'III', the remaining members of the group insist he will be back for their 25th anniversary, as will Jason Orange, who announced his departure earlier this year.
Howard Donald - who is now joined in the band by Gary Barlow and Mark Owen - said: "We want to do something with the five of us. That will be great."
Gary added: "It would be nice to put all the music from the Nineties and now on one compilation and do a tour that would have to be bigger.
"Take That is five people. Exactly when they come back is up to them. That will keep it interesting."
And Gary jokingly claimed fans should expect the group's line-up to change with every album.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Moving forward, I do think our fans need to get used to the fact that it's going to change -- maybe every album. I might be missing on the next one and Rob might come in instead of me. Actually, he'd better not do!"
While they have only released their new album 'III' today (01.12.14), the 'These Days' singers are already looking ahead to their next record and are confident Robbie - who also brought out a new record, 'Under the Radar, Volume 1' today - will want to be a part of it.
Gary said: "Rob will be back soon. We have a good time with Rob. He adores being in the studio and he loves the process of writing with us.
"We can't wait to start the next record now. We have that excitement in us.
"There's no way this is the last album. I feel this is what I've been put here to do."

Susan Boyle writing own music

Susan Boyle is learning to write her own songs.
The former 'Britain's Got Talent' star has amassed a £75 million fortune from recording albums of cover tracks, but the 53-year-old singer is now keen to pen her own music.
A source said: "Susan loves singing but she has decided that she wants to change direction with the music she is putting out there and write it herself. So she is learning how it's done properly.
"She will be putting original hits on her seventh album, and she has already began work on it.
"She is taking lots of advice and is being taught how to do it so it can be the best standard possible for her fans.
"So far all of the songs she has put out there have been written by others and as much as she wants to continue to belt out songs she loves, she knows musicians have to evolve.
"Susan is the last person to be motivated by money - she doesn't spend what she's got already - but her new plan will make her millions."
But Susan - who recently revealed she has found her first boyfriend, a US doctor - isn't planning a radical change in musical direction as she still wants to keep her existing fanbase happy.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She is also looking to find some brilliantly talented singers to collaborate with. Susan knows who her fans are, she's not looking for a new fan base, she just wants to give them something different."
