Lauren Platt might miss The X Factor due to illness

Lauren Platt may be too ill to perform on 'The X Factor' this Saturday (29.11.14).
The 17-year-old wannabe pop star could potentially miss out on singing this weekend after being hit by a nasty bout of flu as the ITV production crew are unsure if she will be ready to perform on the live show.
Speaking about her condition, a source shared: "Lauren has been really ill. Earlier in the week we had to cancel an entire day of filming so she could go to bed."
However, the insider then revealed how a desperate Lauren is "determined" to keep her spot on the ITV competition, despite fears that singing will damage her voice for future shows.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "At the moment she is determined to sing tomorrow regardless and no one wants to tell her otherwise.
"[But] she is also worried that being ill will affect her performance if she goes on. The odds are really against her this week."
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Fleur East is dating fashion designer Marcel Badiane Robin.
The 26-year-old hopeful has reportedly been secretly seeing the French-born stylist - who has worked with the likes of Rita Ora and Jason Derulo - for several months.
A source told The Sun: "They have been dating for a while now and it is definitely serious.
"He is incredibly supportive of her X Factor success and wants her to go all the way, just as she is really supportive of his fashion career."

Jenna Coleman puts off ‘Doctor Who’ exit

Jenna Coleman has signed up for the next series of 'Doctor Who'.
The 28-year-old actress - who stars as the Time Lord's assistant Clara Oswald in the BBC One sci-fi series opposite current doctor Peter Capaldi - was tipped to leave the show during this year's Christmas special but will now continue playing the sidekick for the first half of the next series.
It is believed Jenna had a "change of heart" about leaving the show after doing just one series with Peter, 56.
Her decision has shocked show boss Steven Moffat and prompted writers to pen a new script for the upcoming season - which originally saw her character being killed off - so Clara can return to the Tardis with the Doctor .
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "When it came to Clara, they had to tear them up and start again.
"In the original draft of the script, she became an old woman who then died with the Doctor at her side. But after they were rewritten, she will now be seen returning to the Tardis, hand in hand with the Doctor."
The pair are set to be joined by actor Nick Frost in this year's Christmas Day special, who will take on the role of Santa Claus and attempt to help the duo escape from an Arctic base.
The BBC said: "The Doctor and Clara face their last Christmas. Trapped on an Arctic base, under an attack from terrifying creatures, who are you going to call? Santa Claus?"

Chris Hemsworth returns to UK for Avengers: Age of Ultron

The cast of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' have to return to London to film extra scenes.
Chris Hemsworth (who plays Thor), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) have been asked to keep their schedules blank for two weeks in January to shoot extras scenes at London's Pinewood Studios for the superhero sequel.
The film's director Joss Whedon won't actually require all the star's to fly to England but had reportedly sent out an early request to ensure they would be available, if necessary.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, these extra measures have been taken to give the movie a bit "more kick-ass on an extravagant scale".
Chris Hemsworth - who has previously starred in the 2011 film 'Thor' and reprised his role in the 2012 flick 'Avengers Assemble' - could potentially be in the UK a lot in 2015 if he cast in the third and fourth installments of the 'Avengers' franchise, which are scheduled to be filmed back-to-back later next year at Pinewood Studios.
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is due out in cinemas from April 24, 2015.

Chris Pine’s mum helps him get into character

Chris Pine's mother helps him get into character.
The 'Horrible Bosses 2' star admitted he often turns to his mother, actress turned psychotherapist Gwynne Gilford, for help analysing potential roles and getting into the mindset of characters.
He told the Metro newspaper: "She's a fantastic resource. If you want to talk acting with her you can, if you want to talk intellectually with her you can."
The 34-year-old actor - whose mother and father, Robert Pine, both starred in the 1980s cop series 'CHiPs' - confessed he didn't always plan on following his parents into acting and would have been content emptying bins for a living.
He said: "Until I was about six I wanted to be a garbage truck driver but in hindsight it makes a lot of sense that I'd end up acting instead."
Chris also turns to his parents after a hard day at work as they understand the pressures of a career in the limelight.
He explained: "It's good to be able to share my professional life with my parents now.
"I can call them after a hard day's work and they understand.
"Having that common language with them is great. "

Angus and Malcolm Young closer after dementia diagnosis

Angus Young has grown closer to his brother Malcolm since he was diagnosed with dementia.
The 61-year-old rocker was forced to leave their group AC/DC earlier this year after being gripped by the condition - which causes memory loss and confusion - but his younger sibling and bandmate was "surprised" at how much he wanted to plan for the 'Back in Black' star before he was unable to continue.
Angus, 59, said: "His symptoms started around the 'Black Ice Tour' [during 2008-2010] but he said he wanted to continue. I kept asking him if he wanted to go on and he did.
"Then when he'd seen a few different people and was diagnosed, he said he would go on with the band for as long as he could play. He did very well."
Did it make us closer? Yes for sure. Even when he was ill. When touring he didn't have great days. So I'd sit with him and we'd talk.
"He'd surprise me, by talking about things such as how we should do some open-air shows. But then he's always been our leader and it was just good to have that feedback."
Though Malcolm - who is now in a full-time nursing home in Sydney, Australia - gave his blessing for the band to continue and has been replaced on rhythm guitar by his nephew Stevie Young, the group found it "hard" recording new album 'Rock or Bust' without him.
Guitarist Angus told The Sun newspaper: "We missed Malcolm from the very start. Especially when we've got tough decisions to make.
"But I'm pleased he got to hear the album. One of my other nephews in Australia took the record in for him to hear. And he loved it.
"My nephew said Malcolm was happy and had a big smile on his face. That was very moving to hear."

will.i.am: Current music is dated

will.i.am thinks current music sounds too dated.
The Black Eyed Peas star is worried that records hitting the charts sound too much like the material that was being released over 10 years ago.
He said: "Everything around music right now is so 2000s, like 2003."
And the 'I Gotta Feeling' hitmaker was unimpressed by the performances at the recent American Music Awards (AMAs), which included Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J and his own bandmate Fergie.
However, he thinks it is difficult for such televised shows to engage with audiences nowadays because gadgets such as smart phones and tablets are more suited to a short attention span.
He told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Nothing was like, 'Oh my!'.
"It's like, I don't know how you compete with 'refresh. "Everyone is 'refreshing' their phones, and songs just always seem to be in the background. You're competing with my thumb flipping channels."
The 39-year-old producer recently admitted he is planning to "energise" and has no desire to retire.
Quizzed on whether he was planning to leave the music industry behind, he said: "You know what rhymes with retire? Expire. We ain't expiring, we ain't retiring. If it rhymes with something bad you don't want it ... [I'll just] energise the batteries. Lithium. Lithium pop."

Prince William to visit China and Japan alone

Britain's Prince William is to visit Japan and China alone.
The 32-year-old royal will undertake a six-day trip to the Far East in February and March next year, but his wife Duchess Catherine - who will be around eight months pregnant - will remain in the UK with their son Prince George, 16 months.
William is making the trip at the request of the government, and will attend numerous engagements in cities including Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai, as well as getting the chance to address his "personal interest" in halting illegal poaching.
A royal spokesperson confirmed he will visit Japan first and said: "The engagements will be focused on UK-Japan relations, commerce and cultural exchange and in support of his own personal interest in combating the illegal wildlife trade."
The first stop for the prince in China will be to open the Great Festival of Creativity a worldwide initiative to promote Britain and will allow over 500 UK businesses the chance to reach new customers.
Kensington Palace added: "In China, the duke will officially open the Great Festival of Creativity at Shanghai's Long Museum on Monday 2nd March.
"The duke will also undertake engagements in Beijing and elsewhere to promote UK-China relations, people to people links, and in support of his work to combat the illegal wildlife trade and support wildlife conservation."

Sammy Winward quits Emmerdale

Sammy Winward has quit 'Emmerdale'.
The 29-year-old actress has left soap bosses "gutted" after announcing her intention to leave after 13 years as Katie Addyman, not long after shooting the show's Christmas episodes, which will see her alter ego re-marry Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher).
A source said: "Sammy is the Michelle Keegan of Emmerdale so everyone's gutted she's leaving.
"She's hugely popular and her character has been a big part in the show overtaking 'EastEnders'."
The blonde beauty will leave next year and though her exit storyline hasn't been plotted yet, it is likely to be explosive.
The source said: "The producers haven't decided yet [if they will kill her off]. 'Emmerdale' love a big death because it's great for their ratings.
"Katie being Katie she sure won't be sailing calmly off into the sunset."
Sammy - who has nine-year-old daughter Mia with former partner David Dunn - is keen to tackle new projects and would love to indulge in her passion for history with a part in a period drama like 'Downton Abbey'.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "She wants to spread her wings and try theatre work and other telly. 'Emmerdale' is virtually everything she has ever known
"She always has her nose stuck in a book and can't get enough of documentaries about bygone days."

Nadine Coyle would reunite with Girls Aloud

Nadine Coyle would be open to a Girls Aloud reunion.
The 'Insatiable' singer was recently branded "full of s**t" by former bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - who subsequently unfollowed her on twitter - insisted she doesn't bear a grudge and would happily perform with the group again in the distant future.
Nadine - who Cheryl also accused of causing the band to go on hiatus in 2009 so she could launch a solo career - said: "Why not! 10 years down the line. I would never rule [reuniting] out."
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old singer gave birth to her first child, daughter Anaiya, in April this year and she admits she and fiance Jason Bell are keen to have more children in the future.
She said: "Anaiya is so young, she's such a good baby. I think I've been spoiled - I couldn't get this lucky twice! So I think I have time enough for baby number two. But one day, definitely."
Asked if she'd like a big family, she added: "Yes. I have a huge family as it is; I have two sisters, nieces, nephews, lots of cousins and close friends that are like family."
Wherever she goes in the world, the 'Biology' singer likes to take Anaiya with her and says the youngster already adores travelling.
She told the MailOnline website: "Anaiya loves so travel, she's so well adjusted.
"As long as she has her bottle and her mummy and her teddy bear then she's happy.
"She's a jet-setting baby, she shakes her arms and her legs because she's so excited before we go travelling."

Dakota Fanning planning quiet 21st celebration

Dakota Fanning thinks she will just "stay home" on her 21st birthday.
The 'Twilight Saga' actress reaches the milestone age in February 2015 but hasn't made any plans to celebrate yet, and she admits she gets so tired of being asked about it, she is now expecting to just have a quiet night in.
Asked how she will celebrate turning 21, she said: "I have no idea what to do. It's been such a talked-about thing for so long, like, what are you gonna do for your birthday, that I think by the time it rolls around I'm just going to stay home with five friends and call it a day."
And the blonde beauty also admitted she prefers crafting at home to partying in clubs.
She told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Pretty much every director I've ever worked for I've knit a scarf for."
Dakota is likely to spend her birthday with boyfriend Jamie Strachan, who she recently revealed she is "super happy" with and doesn't care about him being 13 years older.
She said: "I'm super happy. I think love is very important and it's really fun to have someone to experience things with. It makes everything a bit more special.
"People love who they love and you go with that. People get so stuck in rules for life. You go with what feels right."

Harry Styles: One Direction are still growing up

Harry Styles says he and his One Direction bandmates are still growing up.
The 20-year-old heartthrob claims that despite being in the world's most popular boy band, he, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are still learning how to be men and get self-conscious on occasion.
He said: "I think that people imagine that if you're in a band you kind of lose all normal things. But we still have every insecurity every 19 or 20-year-old guy has."
But despite claiming he sometimes struggles with a lack of confidence, Harry decided to stay in Los Angeles for an extra day earlier this week to go partying after One Direction took home three gongs at the American Music Awards.
Quizzed on why Harry and Zayn, 21, had arrived in Australia a day later than himself, Louis, 22, and Liam, 21, Niall, 20, said: "What happened there was, we'd just won three American Music Awards, and some people wanted to get straight to Australia and Harry here wanted to have a little party in Los Angeles."
While Harry agreed with his pal, he added that he had an ear ache which he didn't want to aggravate by flying too soon.
He told Australia's Kiis FM: "I also didn't feel very well so I didn't want to fly. I wanted to wait out the storm to fly. My ear hurts."

Angelina Jolie warned off making bad relaionship movie with Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's friends warned them against making 'By the Sea'.
The couple - who married in August, nine years after meeting on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' - play a husband and wife struggling with their relationship in the forthcoming drama and their concerned pals were worried the material would spill over into everyday life.
Angelina - who is directing the film - said on the 'Today' show: "We did a drama about a bad marriage
"'A lot of friends of ours thought is was a really ... they didn't say a bad idea ... but they asked us a few times if we were sure we wanted to do it."
Earlier this week, Angelina admitted it had been "uncomfortable" working on the movie with her husband - with who she has children Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - but felt the experience had made their marriage stronger.
She said: "'It [was] uncomfortable but we've already shot it, we've survived it and we're stronger for it.
"It was very tough material, so for any actors it was heavy dramatic emotional work."
The movie is set during the 1970s and sees former dancer Vanessa and her writer husband Roland travel together. Though they seem to be growing apart, things change when they stay in a quiet seaside town and get close to some of the inhabitants.
