Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder engaged

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are engaged.
The couple have been dating for the past six months and multiple sources have now confirmed they have decided to tie the knot after the 36-year-old actor proposed to his 26-year-old girlfriend.
A source confirmed to E! News: "They're so happy. They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right."
Nikki and Ian moved in with each other after only three weeks of dating and their relationship was moved forward at pace.
The pair were recently spotted looking at engagement rings in a jewellery store in Los Angeles.
An eyewitness told HollywoodLife.com: "They were absolutely adorable [inside the jewellery store] and you could tell they are very much in love. Nikki was pointing out items for Ian and vice versa. They looked at some engagement rings, including a 14k gold diamond slice halo ring and an 18k gold green halo diamond ring - both designed by Livin, and an 18k large chocolate diamond ring by White Cloud."
News of their engagement comes shortly after 'Twilight' beauty Nikki finalised her divorce settlement from singer/songwriter Paul McDonald.
Nikki and Paul tied the knot in Malibu, California, in October 2011 following a whirlwind romance.
However, their relationship ended less than three years later when the brunette beauty filed for divorce in May 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.

Katy Perry’s friends shocked by John Mayer romance

Katy Perry's friends are shocked she has rekindled her relationship with John Mayer.
The 'Dark Horse' hitmaker has enjoyed "numerous dinner dates and sleepovers" with the 37-year-old singer in recent weeks, but their reunion came as a surprise to the 30-year-old beauty's close pals.
A source said: "[It's] a complete 180 from where she was weeks ago."
Katy ended her on-again, off-again romance with John last February as they clashed over how to manage their relationship while she was away on her 'Prismatic' world tour.
The insider said: "They're both outspoken and independent. It draws them together, but it can cause problems at times."
But they are determined to make their relationship work this time round.
The source told PEOPLE magazine: "They are in love and have been seeing each other for a while. They missed each other.
"They seem very happy about being back together again. [But] they have to make time for each other and figure out how they can be together in a smooth relationship."
Sources previously suggested John was "jealous" of Katy's success and the 'Roar' singer recently admitted most of her former boyfriends were "threatened" by her career.
In October, she said: "A lot of times I've ended up with people who have been intimidated by me, unfortunately. They say they're not, but it comes out in the long run. They're threatened, or there's resentment because they don't know how to handle it."

Dick Pope: I’ve been called worse than Dick Poop

Dick Pope has joked he has been called "a lot worse" after he was accidentally named "Dick Poop" during the Oscars nominations announcement.
The 'Mr. Turner' cinematographer became an internet sensation yesterday (15.01.15) when Cheryl Boone Isaacs, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), mispronounced his name while reading out the Best Achievement in Cinematography nods, but he has taken the blunder in good spirit and admits he "feels sorry" for her.
He said: "You know what, I have been called a lot worse in my time. I don't think twice about anything like that. I am happy to be nominated.
"You don't need to explain it to me. I have had it explained one hundred times. I feel sorry for the lady who made the mispronunciation."
The British star's name began trending on Twitter shortly after the gaffe and several people compared Cheryl's error to John Travolta's faux pas last year when he mispronounced Idina Menzel's name at the Oscars, calling her Adele Dazeem, but Dick admitted he didn't even know what it mean to trend on the social networking site.
He said: "I have never been on Twitter and I don't know what trending means. I am completely naive.
"All I know is that I have a lot of e-mails here saying I am trending on Twitter. They might as well be saying I am landing on the moon, as far as I am concerned."
Despite the hilarity surrounding his nod due to Cheryl's slip-up, Dick is grateful to have been recognised for his role in the production of the movie - which received four nods - and paid tribute to the film crew, including director Mike Leigh and leading actor Timothy Spall, who played the titular eccentric painter.
Speaking to USA Today, he added: "We're all very happy. It's wonderful news. But I represent a whole company and the whole film.
"I represent the people who work on it. We are all very pleased. Delighted."

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield planning wedding?

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are reportedly planning to get married this summer.
The couple, who started dating in 2011 and sparked rumours they got engaged last May, are said to be secretly scouting for a romantic wedding venue in Rome, Italy.
A source told US OK! magazine: "Andrew would be happy with a city hall ceremony. But Emma wants something a little more dramatic and memorable."
The insider claims the 'Birdman' actress, 26, already has a dress in mind for their ceremony, and is eager to exchange vows in front of just 25 friends and family members.
The duo first started talking about getting married in late 2013.
A friend said at the time: "They want to marry and have a family. They're discussing it. They're madly in love."
Emma recently admitted she is a workaholic as she fears she won't always be in demand in Hollywood.
She said: "I think I have this kind of non-stop neurotic awareness that it won't always be this way, and it hasn't always been this way.
"There have been periods of time throughout it all where it felt like the nature of being an actor is that you finish something and then you feel like you're never going to get another job again, and that doesn't really ever go away. It doesn't really matter what it is you last did. It always feels like your fingers are crossed and you're just waiting to see what's going to happen next. So I have a healthy amount of not believing that anything will continue past the next six months or something. Maybe that sounds horribly negative."

Eddie Murphy unsure of Beverly Hills Cop future

Eddie Murphy is not keen on returning for 'Beverly Hills Cop 4'.
The comedian and actor played the protagonist Axel Foley - a hilarious police detective - in the original three movies released in 1984, 1987 and 1994, but said he is not willing to reprise the role unless there is a "really incredible script", after Paramount Studios announced they were developing another sequel.
When asked if production on the film had begun, he said: "Nah, they still trying to get that script right. I'm not doing a 'Beverly Hills Cop' unless they have a really incredible script."
Last year, the studios announced the franchise's fourth action-comedy instalment would be released in cinemas on March 25, 2016, but with production yet to begin, this has been thrown into question.
Speaking further about the prospect of featuring in the film - which will be directed by 'Horrible Bosses' creator Brett Ratner - the 53-year-old actor said he would not take part in the production just to make money, as he wants to star in something which he thinks people will actually enjoy, following the widespread criticism of the third movie which Eddie himself described as "atrocious".
He told Rolling Stone magazine: "I've read a couple things that look like they can make some paper. But I'm not doing a sh**ty movie just to make some paper. The s**t got to be right."

Sam Faiers is ready to meet ‘the one’

Sam Faiers is ready to settle down with "the one".
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star split from on/off boyfriend Joey Essex in October but is already looking for love again because she prefers being in a relationship.
She said: "After my split with Joey, I put up a bit of a barrier with men because I wasn't ready for something new. I wasn't going out much and was focusing on myself and being a good auntie to Nelly - but it would be nice to meet someone new this year.
"I know I'm only 24 but I prefer having someone special in my life. When I do meet my next boyfriend, it'd be nice if he was the one I ended up with - I'm ready to settle down."
And Sam is hoping her friend and former TOWIE co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh's new boyfriend, gymnast Louis Smith, can help her find a man.
She added to Closer magazine: "He's perfect for Lucy because she's really into fitness. Maybe Louis has some single gymnast friends to set me up with."

Brendan Cole ‘can’t imagine’ not being on Strictly Come Dancing

Brendan Cole "can't imagine" not being on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 38-year-old professional dancer has partnered the celebrity contestants on the show since it began 10 years ago and though he anticipates he won't be on the programme forever, he is still "very comfortable" being a part of the contest.
He said: "I'm sure one day the shoes will have to be hung up, whether it's because I don't want to be there or they don't want me.
"I love 'Strictly' and it's a massive part of my life - I can't quite imagine it not being there. It's been over a quarter of my life so far. That's a big chunk of time.
"I'm very comfortable with it at the moment and hopefully they'll want me back next year."
While Brendan - who has two-year-old daughter Aurelia with wife Zoe Hobbs - adores the show, he has no interest in being a part of the accompanying tours as he prefers to take his own productions on the road.
He told Now magazine: "I've never done [the tour] and I've never wanted to. My show is what I like doing and that's how it'll stay."

Beyoncé dances to Meghan Trainor songs ‘every day’

Beyoncé dances to Meghan Trainor's music "every day".
The 'Lips Are Movin' hitmaker recently met the superstar at the Billboard Women in Music Awards and was shocked to hear the 33-year-old singer and her three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy are such fans of her tracks.
Recalling the moment Beyoncé admitted to loving her music, she said: "She came up to me and held my hands and said, 'I love your music. My daughter and I listen to your songs every day and dance to them.'"
The 21-year-old singer - who has been nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the Grammys for her breakthrough single 'All About That Bass' - said she was so surprised about the revelation, it felt like her life was "complete."
She continued: "I freaked out.
"I was pretty much complete with life. I was like, 'Oh! That's it, Beyoncé likes my songs. I'm done.'"
The young musician - who is releasing her debut album 'Title' around the world this month - added the moment was particularly special for her because she is also a fan of the star's music, and believes she is "the most talented artist" to have ever lived.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "I didn't believe it.
"It was like a movie in my face. I worship her. I think she's the most talented artist we have ... ever."

Madonna to perform at BRITs

Madonna is being lined up to perform at the BRIT Awards.
The 'Unapologetic Bitch' singer is believed to be in discussions with producers to perform at the ceremony next month - 20 years after her last performance at the prestigious celebration - where she will showcase previously unheard material.
A source revealed: ""Madonna wants to perform to the biggest number of people for the maximum impact and there's no better place for a controversy-filled Madonna performance than the Brits."
The 56-year-old performer - who is "99% confirmed" to perform a medley of tracks from her forthcoming album, 'Rebel Heart' at the annual event - will be hoping the performance will peak interest in her new music, after already announcing she will be singing at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 8.
The source continued: "She has already confirmed she will perform at the Grammys, when she will debut the new music.
"But her album is due out on March 9, a month after the LA ceremony, so she wants another large platform to perform her songs on just before it is released.
The controversial star - who has hit the headlines recently for defacing images of Nelson Mandela and Britain's Princess Diana to promote 'Rebel Heart' - will be hoping to shock once again with her performance to heighten the buzz surrounding her comeback.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She has cleared her diary for the Brits. She knows she needs to really entertain and bring a good show because she'll want to be the talking point."
The ceremony will take place at London's O2 Arena on February 25, with other performances coming from Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Paloma Faith.

James Bay proud to join BRITs ‘crew’

James Bay feels proud to be part of the BRITs Critics' Choice winners "crew".
The 'Hold Back The River' hitmaker - who has been handed the BRITs Critics' Choice gong as part of the 2015 BRIT Awards with MasterCard - has revealed that he wants to emulate the success of some of the award's former winners.
When asked how he felt to be part of a group of winners that includes Adele, Florence Welch and Jessie J, he said: "It's amazing to be part of that little crew you know, or feel like that. They've proved themselves and they're as amazing as everyone says.
"I'm going to try and do the same. Adele hasn't congratulated me, if she did that would be nuts!"
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter - who hails from Hertfordshire, south east England - is hoping for success across the pond too.
Speaking on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards with MasterCard nominations show, 'The BRITs Are Coming', where he also performed, he told BANG Showbiz: "American success? Fingers crossed. I think they know about the BRITs from tiny little old England, yeah fine they've got the Grammys, whatever!
"I have a lot to show for this; I guess it points a lot of people in my direction at the moment so I have to use that. And that's my plan so hopefully that will change things for the better and push things forward."
The 2015 BRIT Awards with MasterCard will be held in London on February 25th.
