Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine to join Real Housewives of Cheshire

Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine has signed up to the ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’.
The ‘Take Me Out’ host’s spouse has reportedly agreed to join the next series of the trashy reality TV show because she’s keen to carve out her own career and set the record straight following claims that her and Paddy’s marriage has hit the rocks.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Christine has been given the chance to be in the spotlight. She has been through a tough since feeling betrayed by Paddy and is looking forward to having a new focus. It’s not great news for Paddy who’s already seen enough of his private life scrutinised. She’s already filmed some scenes."
The programme – which follows the lavish lives of well-off women including Tanya Bardsley and Leanne Brown in Cheshire – is set to return to screens next month.
An ITV spokeswoman said: "The new series will be returning to ITVBe in March. Friends and familiar faces will be popping up along the way."
Meanwhile, Christine has had a tough few years as she found out her four-year-old twins Leo and Penelope had autism and admitted that she felt a "sense of loss."
The 29-year-old model – who also has 19-month-old daughter Felicity with Paddy – said at the time: "I think there is a sense of loss when your child is diagnosed with autism. The things you plan out, what you think you’re going to do, go to Butlins for the weekend, go to Blackpool or holidays, you realise actually those things might not happen as it would normally.
"But that was when we first found out. But now I’ve done my research, and I know a lot more about it, I’m really confident that I’m the right mum for these. I know I can give them a really good life. I know with lots of planning, lots of research into everything and preparing the twins I know they can do anything."
