Olly Murs ‘pleased’ at being ‘stuck’ in the UK

Olly Murs is "quite pleased" he’s not travelling for the ‘X Factor’s judges’ houses round.

The ‘Never Been Better’ hitmaker has revealed he is secretly glad he won’t be jetting off to glamourous locations for the ITV show with his co-host Caroline Flack as he hates the jet lag.

He said: "It is amazing to think you could go to all these different destinations, but I’m actually happy we’re not doing it because the jet lag and everything going to the different countries back and forth, and getting on a plane is quite a lot of work.

"I’m actually quite pleased I’m just stuck in the UK. It’s quite nice!"

And the 31-year-old singer insists rumours that new judge Nick Grimshaw took his category to Manchester is completely true.

He told Free Radio: "Grimmy is in Manchester. That’s not even a joke, he actually did that! Obviously he’s got radio commitments as you know. I feel sorry for him actually having to do that, but he’s keeping it real!"

Meanwhile, a source previously claimed that there will be "banter" with the judges about the pair missing out on the exotic locations.

They said: "Being with the judges and contestants at this crucial stage is one of the best bits of the job. And it beats being stood in a cold studio in Wembley.

"But they are excited about the series. Of course there’ll be banter with the judges about them missing out."
