Olly Murs gets Bonkers on the first taste of his forthcoming album Knees Up

Olly Murs has returned with his new single Bonkers – the first taste of his upcoming album Knees Up.

The 41-year-old pop star – who recently welcomed his second child into the world with his wife Amelia Tank, son Albert, a brother for their 16-month-old daughter Madison – will follow-up 2022’s Marry Me on November 21.

Described by the singer as “Olly 2.0,” Olly experiments with Ska on the upbeat tune.

Olly has teased that Knees Up is “daring, fun, [and] a bit bonkers”.

He said in a statement: “This is the first album in years I’ve made authentically for me – it’s daring, fun, a bit bonkers – and the most buzzing I’ve felt about music in a long time.

“My fans have been there through everything over the last 15 years, and I can’t wait for them to hear something fresh and fun from me. Time for a cheeky little Knees Up!!”

The album will be available in multiple formats, including transparent green vinyl, standard CD, and a Deluxe CD featuring four live bonus tracks: Troublemaker, Heart Skips A Beat, Save Me, and Dance With Me Tonight. Fans who pre-ordered at his summer shows will also receive an exclusive Lanyard CD.

The new album follows Olly’s sold-out UK tour marking 15 years of success.

Olly was also just confirmed as a performer for Hits Radio Live Manchester, which takes place on the same day Olly releases his new record, suggesting he could play new material when hits the stage at Co-op Live.
