Olly Alexander jumps on 2018 Swedish Eurovision star’s latest tune Kite

Olly Alexander is featured on Benjamin Ingrosso’s new version of ‘Kite’.

The 2024 UK Eurovision entrant – who is set to represent his home country with his 80s-tinged disco pop hit ‘Dizzy’ – has added his vocals to the latest single by the Scandi pop star, who represented Sweden in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the dance-pop earworm ‘Dance You Off’.

Benjamin, 26, said: “I Can’t wait for people to hear this track. I’ve been a big fan of Olly’s music for many years and it feels very exciting to be releasing a song together with him now. Olly is an incredible person as well and extremely talented creative who I feel has added an amazing dimension to Kite.”

Years and Years star Olly, 33, added: “When I first heard Kite, it made me feel sunny and happy, thank you Benjamin! It was a great experience working together, he’s a really sweet guy and I’m excited to be on this gem of a song.”

The upbeat tune, which draws inspiration from his childhood, is the perfect blend of classic Swedish pop and soul from the 70s and the late 90s.

‘Kite’ is the first track to be taken from Benjamin’s upcoming album, due out later this year, which follows his second English album, 2022’s ‘Playlist’.

Stream ‘Kite’ with Olly now on all major platforms.

Meanwhile, you can catch Benjamin live on the ‘Better Days Tour’ in the UK and Europe this April.

The ‘Better Days Tour’ kicks off in Germany on 1st April with stops in the Netherlands, France, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Spain, Finland, as well as Heaven in London, UK on 4th April before heading for a mammoth summer run in Sweden. Tickets are on sale now at LiveNation.co.uk.
