Olivia Dean eyes Glastonbury headline slot after selling out four nights at The O2

Olivia Dean is eyeing a Glastonbury headline slot after selling out four nights at The O2.

The Man I Need singer – who released her second studio album, The Art Of Loving, last week – will play her biggest headline tour to date next year, including the four nights at the legendary London venue, and she has even bigger aspirations for the future.

She told the new issue of Music Week magazine: “I’d love to headline Glastonbury one day.”

Olivia, 26, opened for Sabrina Carpenter at her pair of shows at BST Hyde Park this summer, and she will also support her peer on the North American leg of the Espresso hitmaker’s Short n’ Sweet Tour this autumn.

Although she hasn’t had a chance to meet the 26-year-old pop star yet, Olivia will be studying Sabrina’s show.

She told the publication: “I’m yet to meet her, but I’ve heard she’s lovely.

“I’m definitely in awe of her work ethic, so I’m excited to learn and see that kind of show in action.”

The neo-soul pop star’s momentum continues to build. Earlier this year, she became the first British female artist since Adele to score three UK Top 10 singles. Man I Need also became the highest-charting UK song on Spotify’s Global Charts in 2025.

This summer also saw Olivia join Sam Fender on his UK tour and the pair performed their collaboration Rein Me In live at London Stadium.

The Art Of Loving has been met with wide appraisal from fans and critics alike.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the follow-up to 2023’s Messy, Olivia shared: “I don’t think this is a cynical thing to say but I don’t think love is just magic that happens to you, I think you’ve got to put the time in, it’s a craft, it’s like playing an instrument or any other skill… I’m a romantic, hopelessly, hopelessly. And I suppose I’m trying to just bring a little bit of love, and loving, back into your life.”
