Olivia Bentley: Being on TV carries ‘extra bit of stress’

Olivia Bentley says being on TV carries an "extra bit of stress" because people are "watching your every move".
While the ‘Made In Chelsea’ star admits there is "definitely pressure" for people on the small screen from social media, but the 23-year-old beauty praised the E4 show for the support they offer and says there is always "someone there" to talk too.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I think there’s definitely pressure [of being on a reality show], there’s more pressure from social media and stuff.
"But then I think everyone gets pressure on things, you don’t have to be a reality star to feel pressure, everyone does in every job they do.
"But I think being on TV does have the extra bit of stress because everyone is watching your every single move. I’ve never felt like I’m alone on ‘Made In Chelsea’.
"’Made In Chelsea’ are very good at supporting us in every single way, I’ve had quite ups and downs and there’s always been someone I can talk to and they massively support us and there is always someone there."
Olivia experiences social media trolls "regularly", which she says can get "very weird".
She added: "Yes [I have experienced trolls] regularly but I laugh at it, I don’t say anything back. I get a lot of trolls calling me a liar that I’ve claimed I’ve had a boob job, which I haven’t, and then they claim I’m lying because I haven’t admitted it, when I haven’t had one.
"It’s bizarre. I don’t really read it but [I get comments] like ‘You’re a liar.’ ‘You have had a boob job!’ It’s all very weird.
"Instagram is that sort of platform where everyone thinks they have a right to say what they’ve got to say.
"With ‘Made in Chelsea’ we’ve always had that sort of help and not to really get into it because it’s a random person who doesn’t know you, so I don’t really know why people should care what they have to say."
Made in Chelsea’s 17th series continues next Monday night (08.04.19) at 9pm on E4.
