Noel Gallagher brands Liam ‘crazy’

Noel Gallagher has branded his brother Liam "crazy".

The 47-year-old singer has slammed his sibling, claiming he was erratic and disruptive during their time together in Oasis – who split in 2009 after 18 years together following the pair’s spectacular fall out – which made it impossible to plan anything.

He is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "As we know, you can’t plan 30 seconds of your life with him as it can go t*ts up any time.

"It can be in a lift going up to a hotel room or at the side of the stage before you go out to 25,000 people.

"I have been at gigs and he’s said, ‘I am not singing any of that s**t.’ And we’ve been rehearsing for four months. He is a crazy guy."

This comes less than a month after Noel insisted the siblings have been getting on well.

He recently said: "We’re on good terms, as good as we can be."

Noel and Liam’s fall out that led to the end of Oasis came at V Festival in 2009 when they had to cancel the group’s performance.

The official reasoning for the band pulling out was because Liam was suffering from laryngitis but Noel later insisted his brother didn’t want to play because he was hungover, which was disputed by his sibling.

Speaking in 2011, Liam said: "I got diagnosed with laryngitis for the V festival. I wasn’t hungover.

"I do gigs when I’ve been hung-over. I’m a big boy. I’m not going to cancel a gig because I’ve got a headache.

"In my opinion, he’s a control freak. He’s making up lies to get brownie points."
