Nina Conti turns audiences "lurid and sexual" at her gigs.
The comedienne – who performed live at Prince Harry’s 30th birthday – joked the infamous mask sketch she does at her shows often results in some of her crowd turning into "monsters".
She exclusively told BANG showbiz: "People get very lurid and sexual quite easily, I promise that’s not my fault! But often that’s what happens when you put a mask on someone it actually unleashes a monster. I try for it not to go that way but on occasion is has!"
The 40-year-old star appears on stage with a variety of puppets at her gigs and the juiciest part of her show comes when audience members are invited on stage to wear a mask controlled by Nina, but she has vowed not to poke fun at any cleebrities.
She added: "The next show is 100 per cent mask work. But I tend not to comment on famous people, it’s my thing I feel like it’s freeloading. It’s very interfering to take someone’s personality and start saying things I guess.
"Someone would have to be very hateful for me to have to do that. No one has been hateful enough."
Nina – the daughter of actor Tim Conti – is rumoured to have made Prince Harry wear a mask while performing at his birthday and while she bases her show on real life characters, she insists her act is never insulting.
She explained: "It’s quite flagrant it’s all very jokey so it’s not too secret".
