Nikki Sanderson lives with her boyfriend Greg Whitehurst.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress has revealed she’s now resides with the businessman, who she began dating shortly after the breakdown of his marriage last year, and is thoroughly enjoying taking their romance each day as it comes.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (12.07.16), she said: "We’ve been together just over a year so it’s very early days. We’re very happy in each other’s company. We live together, so we’re just having fun. If kids happens in the future then great, but we’re just enjoying it."
The 32-year-old star has been slammed with criticism since striking up a romance with Greg, who is now divorced, just over a year ago as people believed she had broken up his marriage, but she’s adamant that isn’t the case and the comments spewed online have got to her.
She explained: "Last year I got with my partner Greg and Greg was married not long before that. He got married in the July on 2014 and his marriage came to an end, through no fault of his own and he was left heartbroken, and it wasn’t much longer after his marriage broke down that Greg and I started dating.
"People, because people didn’t know the backstory and they didn’t know what had happened, they presumed I had broken his married up, that I had wrecked his life, wrecked his ex-wife’s life and unfortunately I got all the blame for it and got all the abuse online. I had nothing to do with it.
"Greg and I have been friends for many years through the charity his family work for – When You Wish Upon A Star – so we’ve known each other for a long time. People presumed because I did go to his wedding."
