Nicole Scherzinger is ‘crazy’ mentor

‘The X Factor’s Matt Terry thinks Nicole Scherzinger is a "crazy, hands-on" mentor.
The 22-year-old contestant has praised the brunette beauty for helping him in the live shows and giving him constructive criticism to help him improve week-on-week.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Daily Mirror newspaper’s Pride of Britain Awards in London on Monday (31.10.16), he said: "Having Nicole as my mentor is crazy, she’s so hands on, I love it. She will give you criticism, she will praise you, she’s really cool and where she’s a singer herself she gives good advice."
However, not everyone agrees with the handsome wannabe singer as Gifty Louise – who was given the boot from the competition last weekend after losing the sing-off against Four of Diamonds – has slammed the former Pussycat Dolls singer.
She said at the time: "I was quite upset with Sharon [Osbourne] and Nicole’s decision [to send her home] because I felt they gave me a standing ovation [after her performance] and then they turned around and got rid of me. I worked so hard."
Although she’s now been given the axe, Matt – who is one of the favourites to win the show – is convinced Gifty, 20, will go on to bigger and better things after her exit.
He explained: "I feel like Gifty is such a talent, I don’t want to choose between any of them but Gifty is super talented and I know she’ll be fine outside of the show."
Meanwhile, Matt wasn’t the only finalist to grace the event last night as he was joined on the red carpet by Saara Aalton, Four of Diamonds and Sam Lavery, as well as his mentor Nicole and head judge Simon Cowell.
