Nicole Barber Lane calls for Joe Tracini to get Hollyoaks-mocking series

Nicole Barber Lane has called for Joe Tracini to get his own series poking fun at ‘Hollyoaks’ storylines.
The 30-year-old actor – who is known for his role as Dennis Savage in the Channel 4 soap – posted a video on Twitter mocking the "far-fetched" death of character Dirk Savage (David Kennedy), who was electrocuted in a swimming pool, despite being a "pretty confident swimmer" who used to live on a boat.
And the clip – which sees him head to former ‘Oaks’ star Danny Mac’s (Mark ‘Dodger’ Savage) house to tell him his on-screen father is dead and ask why he wasn’t at the funeral – has gone down well with some of the show’s other stars past and present.
Nicole – who plays Myra McQueen – wrote on Twitter: "Joe hope you turn into a series please can I be in it
"Maaaaaate u are a genius! Great to see @dannymaconline @jatherton87 but @joetracini you are THE best! @ashley_marge cameo next time please.. Camra Work was great miss n love all you guys (sic)
In the video, Joe admits he thought Dirk’s death scenario "was a bit far-fetched" and pokes fun at the swimming pool scene as he explains Dirk’s passing to Danny.
He says: "The swimming pool had an electrical fault. Dirk is a pretty confident swimmer, obviously … we used to live on a boat.
"But, apparently, he didn’t feel up for climbing the four steps to his left. So he asked for Milo to help him out.
"Even though the lighting conditions were pretty bright, Milo felt he needed to put on the big pool lights to help the perfectly healthy 54-year-old man out of the swimming pool.
"And when he pulled the trigger, because of the electrical fault, it sent electricity through the pool and the water and it electrocuted Dirk to death and now he’s dead."
Danny replies: "Joey, you’ve got to stop this. It’s not real, that would never happen … there wasn’t a funeral. It’s acting. We are actors."
Ayden Callaghan – who played Joe Roscoe from 2013 to 2016 – tweeted: "Very good mate. Genuinely best episode I’ve ever watched. Granted I hardly watched any but this was the best. You’re bloody funny and you should be on tv more. Xx (sic)"
Paul Danan – who previously starred in ‘Hollyoaks’ as Sol Patrick – has also called for himself to be in the next video Joe makes.
He tweeted: "I’m in the next one , it’s genius just genius my brother. Coffee soon. X (sic)"
Tamara Wall (Grace Black) wrote: "Genuinely the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life!!!!!!!!!!!
"honest can’t stop watching it!! Why oh why do you not have your own show!!!! (sic)"
