Nicola McLean tips Ola Jordan to be Queen of the Jungle

Nicola McLean thinks Ola Jordan can be the winner of this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ because of the challenges she has faced as a dancer.
The 35-year-old former glamour model tested her mettle Down Under on the tough ITV reality show back in 2008 taking on the dreaded Bushtucker Trials and coming seventh in the process.
This year’s brave stars have just begun their jungle adventure and of all the contestants, which include Larry Lamb, Wayne Bridge, Scarlett Moffatt and Carol Vorderman, Nicola thinks former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Ola will deal with the gruelling conditions the best because of the determination she has had to have for her chosen career.
Speaking at a pet-friendly screening of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ at the Prince Charles Cinema in London on Saturday afternoon (12.11.16), she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think Ola Jordan will do really, really well. To be a professional dancer I think she’s extremely dedicated and determined and I think she’ll shock us, I love it when a glamorous female does well so I really hope she does. But it really is the best experience ever, so they’ve all got to just enjoy it."
Revealing what the toughest things to deal with in camp are, she added: "I think the lack of food for most people is really, really tricky, they say the glamour models deal best with that because we’re the ones that limit the food anyway! I think for the guys the lack of food is tough. Then it’s the boredom, and never knowing what time of day it is, that can be tough. I was an army cadet so I was pretty used to outdoor living. People are shocked when they get there, but I think you’ve just got to be prepared that you are going to be dirty, you are going to be wet and cold and you just have to get on with it."
Nicola was joined at the screening – the UK’s first ‘Petmiere’ where cinema goers were allowed to bring their pet dogs – by her two sons, Rocky and Striker, and her beloved mutt Jasper, who was on his best behaviour.
Speaking about her love for her canine pal, she the blonde beauty: "Jasper is so funny, he hates other dogs, he feels as though he’s the only other dog in the world which is really funny. He’s little but he’s got a big personality, he’s only two and we’re all obsessed with him, he’s so cute, he’s the cutest thing in the whole entire world. He just goes in the garden and tires himself out, we don’t have to walk him. He sleeps in my bed. He’s pretty low key as long as he’s with me."
Other celebrities at the event included Loose Women’s Martine McCutcheon, Imogen Thomas, Elen Rivas and ‘TOWIE’ cast member Debbie Douglas.
‘The Secret Life of Pets’ is out now on Digital Download, Blu-ray and DVD, courtesy of Universal Pictures.
