Nick Jonas to ‘kill’ Jumanji role

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson thinks Nick Jonas is going to "kill" his new role in the forthcoming ‘Jumanji’ remake.
The 44-year-old actor – who is producing and starring in the remake of the 1995 film – has announced the former Jonas Brothers singer has officially joined the revamped movie and he knows he’s going to pour his heart and soul into the part.
Taking to his Instagram account on Wednesday (28.09.16), Johnson uploaded a photo of him and the 24-year-old hunk on set.
He accompanied it with the caption: "Officially welcoming my guy @NickJonas to #Jumanji. Great dude, great positive energy and very talented. He’s gonna kill this role like I kill things with my bare hands. The jungle awaits. The adventure continues. And ironically the one who sings the most on set is Jack Black. #OnLocation #Hawaii #WelcomeToTheFamilyNick #Jumanji (sic)."
Roles are being kept tightly under wraps for now, but it’s believed Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black will take the lead.
And the retired wrestler recently admitted, although he’s planning to jazz up the flick, he’s adamant the new movie will honour the late Robin Williams and his character Alan Parrish from the original following his death two years ago.
Williams – who tragically committed suicide in 2014 – starred in the 1995 movie as the 12-year-old boy, who gets trapped in a board game with his friend Sarah Whittle in 1969.
Twenty-six years later, Judy and Peter Shepherd find the game in their attic and begin to play, but unbeknownst to them, they accidentally release the now-adult Alan.
‘Jumanji’ is set to hit cinema screens next July.
