Nick Jonas claims appearing on ‘Kingdom’ has made him swear more.
The 22-year-old singer’s lyrics have grown more raunchy since he starred in the TV drama and he admits it was a direct result of the foul language used in the programme.
He said: "After I did ‘Kingdom’, where there was a lot of bad language, I think my speech was affected. So I added a few more words here and there than I usually would.
"I don’t know if it’s even about being angry, sometimes I just say it for effect."
Though Nick – who is dating former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo – insists he is able to watch his language at home, he can’t control himself when he is on the golf course.
He said: "I can contain it at home I’m not really a big swearer.
"I’m a big golfer and when I have a couple of bad shot in a row, that’s when I’ll really let loose on the swearing. But I’ve never broken any golf clubs, thankfully."
And the ‘Chains’ singer even has a favourite "simple" curse word.
He explained in an interview with Heat magazine: "I like damn, because it can go in so many different contexts. You can say ‘damn’ like it’s a good thing or like it’s a bad thing. It’s quite a simple curse word."
