Nick Jonas: My mom does my laundry

Nick Jonas still gets his mother to do his laundry.
The 25-year-old singer might have moved out of his family home some time ago, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely grown up, as he admits that when he does take a trip home, he never forgets to take a bag of dirty clothes for his mother Denise to wash.
When asked what’s the first thing he does upon greeting his parents after being away from home for a while, the ‘Jealous’ hitmaker said: "Laundry – I ask my mom to do my laundry. She does it every time with a big smile!"
But Nick doesn’t think Denise minds having to wash his clothes, as after all her sons – including Joe and Kevin Jonas, with whom Nick formed the Jonas Brothers, as well as youngest son Frankie – moved out, she misses being a mother.
He added: "Now that her four sons are out of the house and have their own lives, any chance she gets to be mom again I think it’s a really nice thing for her."
It isn’t just the free laundry service that the ‘Close’ singer makes use of when he visits home either, as he’s also a fan of his mother’s "incredible" casseroles.
Speaking to E! News, he said: "My mom makes a sweet potato casserole, which is incredible, and an egg casserole. The casserole thing with her is on lock."
Meanwhile, Nick recently revealed he can’t wait to settle down and start a family of his own, as he loves being an uncle to his older brother Kevin’s two daughters, three-year-old Alena and 12-month-old Valentina.
He said: "Absolutely [I want to be a father]. I mean I have two beautiful nieces. I’m the godfather to one of them. I held my nieces and it all kind of made sense. My brother Kevin is the happiest man in the world and he loves his wife and his beautiful girls.
"It’s an amazing marriage and he’s a great father. And I think that it’s one of those things where he got married young and had kids fairly young in today’s world. But he said to me, ‘I think it’s the best choice I’ve ever made. I think this is an amazing thing for me.’ I think it’s not right now for me. But at some point in the future, I’d love to be a father."
