Nick Jonas inundated with film scripts following his Goat performance

Nick Jonas has been sent "a lot" of scripts following the release of his latest film ‘Goat’.
The 23-year-old singer, who started out his career on Broadway aged seven before being discovered by Disney, received rave reviews for his latest role playing Brett in the new independent film and he thinks it’s boosted his chances in Hollywood.
Jonas teased: "After ‘Goat’ got the reception it did a lot of great scripts came in, so I’ve got a couple of projects that I really, really want to do. It’s just finding the timing: the biggest thing I have to tell myself is that ‘I’m building a career and it takes time’."
However, the hunk – who formed pop band The Jonas brothers aged 14 with his siblings Kevin and Joe – hinted he’ll be picky when it comes to choosing his next project.
He added: "There are scripts that come in that are straight offers and that’s great, but I’m drawn to things that I really have to fight for. The reaction at Sundance and Berlin film festivals was incredible."
Jonas stars alongside James Franco in the film and it premiered at Sundance London on Friday (03.06.16).
Directed by Andrew Neil, ‘Goat’ is an adaptation of Brad Land’s disturbing memoir from his teenage years, when he was abducted and beaten by thugs after a frat party, and abused again during what’s known as "Hell Week" when he starts college.
Speaking about the role, Jonas told the i newspaper: "The guys in this culture go to this level where they don’t realise there are consequences."
Meanwhile, the star is also busy with his forthcoming role on the US TV series ‘Scream Queens’ and ‘Kingdom’ .
