Nick Grimshaw is "going to be in a relationship soon" with Michael Mayren.
The 30-year-old ‘The X Factor’ judge has been spending a lot of time with the photographer and friends think the pair are close to confirming they have become romantically involved.
A source close to Grimmy told The Sun newspaper: "Nick and Michael started off as mates but things have been developing lately.
"They have loads in common and have been hanging out a lot. After spending much of Glastonbury in each other’s company they celebrated Michael’s birthday with a trip to the nearby Babington House hotel. It’s not official yet but all their pals think they’re going to be in a relationship soon."
The BBC Radio 1 DJ’s best friend Collette Cooper has already given the pair her seal of approval in a gushing post on Instagram.
Alongside a picture of Nick and Michael with model Daisy Lowe, she wrote: "Awww 🙂 So happy for u both #Love Wins (sic)".
However, while friends seem to think there’s something more than friendship with Grimmy and Michael’s relationship, Nick’s spokesman has denied the boys are together.
The spokesman said: "They are just friends."
Grimmy was secretly dating Italian fashion stylist Nicco Torelli two years ago, but their romance soon fizzled out.
