Nick Cannon mourns grandfather

Nick Cannon is mourning the passing of his grandfather.
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ presenter announced on Sunday (22.05.16) that James Cannon Sr. had passed away, and shared a number of his favourite photos of himself and his beloved relative on Instagram.
In the first picture, he simply wrote: "Rest in Power My Guy!"
He then shared a collage of pictures of the two of them at various red carpet events but stressed he wanted his grandfather’s death to be a "celebration".
He wrote: "And they ask where I get it from! LOL Love you Pops! I feel you already! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. It’s a celebration! #Universe #Vibrations #UndyingSpirit "Job Well Done My Son (sic)"
In another post, the 35-year-old star – who has twins Moroccan and Monroe, five, with ex-wife Mariah Carey – shared a picture of himself, James and his own son.
He captioned it: "Will forever cherish this moment!"
A fourth image was of Nick and his grandfather in their formal Sunday clothes and was captioned: "Man I’m gonna miss these Sundays…"
Meanwhile, Nick recently insisted he is healthier now than he’s ever been after being diagnosed with Lupus in 2012 led to him doing thorough research into the autoimmune disease.
He said: "I’m healthier now than I’ve ever been before, because of the research, because of the education that I’ve received on the proper things to eat and the proper things to put into my body – what can cause flare ups and what can’t, and preventative measures and all of these things. And when you can share that information and share knowledge and research, I think that helps more than anything.
"You learn that this is something that you can live with and actually overcome with the proper research and with the proper support system."
