Niall Horan working with Don Was

Niall Horan has been working with Rolling Stones producer Don Was.
The 23-year-old singer was introduced to the 64-year-old star through his pal Ronnie Wood and has gone on to record an acoustic version of his first solo single ‘This Town’ at Capitol Records with the record executive’s help.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Niall got in contact with Don through Ronnie Wood who has been friendly with 1D a while.
"Niall loves his classic rock and Don is ideal to help Niall develop."
Don first worked as a producer for the Stones on their 1994 album ‘Voodoo Lounge’ and has gone on to help out on their 1995 effort ‘Stripped’, 2004’s ‘Live Licks’ and 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bang’.
As well as the British rockers, Don produced Iggy Pop’s 1990 album ‘Brick By Brick’ and in the same year worked with Sir Elton John on ‘To Be Continued’ and Bob Dylan on ‘Under the Red Sky’.
Don has also teamed up with the likes of Neil Diamond, John Mayer, Van Morrison, Barenaked Ladies and Brian Wilson.
Niall is set to release his debut album next year after going solo following One Direction’s self-inflicted hiatus, and he recently admitted he cannot wait to go on tour.
He tweeted: "Just laying here watching and TV and thinking . Really looking forward to going to cities and maybe seeing them this time . Hahaha .
"Instead of being stuck in the hotel room and playing PlayStation (sic)."
However, Niall also insisted that just because him and his fellow 1D stars Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have forged solo careers, it doesn’t mean the end of One Direction.
Niall said: "There’s going to be plenty more One Direction shows, that’s a guarantee so it’s not a case of one more show. There’s definitely more than one more 1D show coming up, that’s a fact."
