New Kids On The Block announce Las Vegas residency

New Kids On The Block are heading to Las Vegas to play their first ever residency.

The pop group will head to Sin City next summer to kick off a series of shows at the Dolby Live at Park MGM with ‘The Right Stuff’ concerts scheduled to take place in two blocks from June 20 until July 5 and again from November 1 until November 15.

Bandmember Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement: “We cherish every opportunity that we get to perform for our fans, but a Las Vegas residency gives us an opportunity to take our performance, and interaction with our fans, to the next level …

“We plan on maximising everything that the amazing Dolby Live at Park MGM has to offer, to create the most incredible NKOTB concert ever.

“As well as everything that Las Vegas has to offer – to create multiple events to directly engage with our fans. Las Vegas will never be the same after the New Kids and the Blockheads take over the town.”

The band announced the news at a fan event in Las Vegas on Thursday (19.09.24) ahead of a planned performance at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday (21.09.24).

Tickets for the Las Vegas shows go on sale on September 27.

The residency news comes after a busy summer for the group – they released their first studio album in 11 years ‘Still Kids’ in May and the wrapped their ‘Magic Summer Tour’ in August after playing dates across the US in cities such as Dallas, Texas, Tampa, Florida and Inglewood, California as well as a pair of shows in Canada.

Wahlberg previously said of the album: “It’s the most mature album we’ve ever made. Yet it’s the most fun and most comfortable album we’ve ever made.

“This album, more than any other, is bringing the New Kids and the fans full circle. It’s about hope and possibilities and being ourselves.”
