Nev Schulman has got engaged to Laura Perlongo.
The ‘Catfish’ star revealed two weeks ago he and his girlfriend of seven months are expecting their first child together, and now he has announced they have even more to celebrate as they are planning to get married.
Nev posted a selfie of himself and Lauren – whose diamond engagement band could clearly be seen – on Instagram, with them both making fake-upset faces, and captioned it: "we’re enraged!!! (sic)"
Laura also showed off her new ring in a picture in which she was feeding the 31-year-old star, who had his eyes closed.
She wrote alongside the image: "It’s all v serious now (sic)"
Nev recently spoke about how excited he is about becoming a father.
He wrote on Instagram: "Words [can’t] capture the excitement and joy I feel about becoming a father. I am so in love with you Laura and thank you for giving me this incredible gift. You inspire and excite me every day."
Laura recently admitted she found out she was "pregnant accidentally on purpose" and was shocked with some of the negative opinions expressed by her co-workers.
She shared: "After the initial shock/weed wore off I knew right away I wanted this baby. I was strong. I was smart. I was full of love. I COULD DO THIS! I was confident I’d be great. Nev was confident he would be great. HE COULD DO THIS! Sure we’d only been dating long-distance 7 months (with a break in August) but we were optimistic and in love. It felt as good a time as ever. (And who knows if/when there would ever be a ‘better’ time.) We were excited …
"I’m a career-driven girl who did all the things to suggest not ‘settling down’ until my late thirties. I’m a kidult for lack of a less obnoxious term. I don’t even have curtains.
