Neil Young announces new LP Peace Trail

Neil Young is to release new LP ‘Peace Trail’ in December.
The 70-year-old music legend shows no signs of slowing down as he has unveiled his 38th studio album containing 10 brand new songs made at iconic producer Rick Rubin’s Shangri-la studios in Malibu.
The record, which will be released on Reprise Records on December 2, was produced by Young and co-producer John Hanlon and is said to be a "primarily acoustic" record.
Young dropped a music video for the single ‘Indian Givers’, which is about the Dakota Access Pipeline, in September.
The former Crosby, Stills and Nash star started working on the record in 2015 after he released live album ‘Earth’, which was made while he was tour with Promise of the Real.
The album announcement comes after the ‘Heart of Gold’ hitmaker performed at Desert Trip at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California earlier this month, where he joined Sir Paul McCartney on stage to perform ‘A Day in the Life’, which was combined with the late John Lennon’s ‘Give Peace A Chance’ and The Beatles’ ‘Why Don’t We Do It in the Road?’
He also joined heavy metal titans Metallica on stage at the Bridge School Benefit Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California this month for a rendition of Buffalo Springfield’s ‘Mr. Soul’ and he did a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ with Roger Waters.

Neil Young’s ‘Peace Trail’ tracklist is as follows:

1. ‘Peace Trail’
2. ‘Can’t Stop Workin’
3. ‘Indian Givers’
4. ‘Show Me’
5. ‘Texas Rangers’
6. ‘Terrorist Suicide Hang Gliders’
7. ‘John Oaks’
8. ‘My Pledge’
9. ‘Glass Accident’
10. ‘My New Robot’
