Naya Rivera: ‘I completely let myself go during pregnancy’

Naya Rivera says she completely let herself go during her pregnancy.
The 29-year-old actress and her husband Ryan Dorsey welcomed their son, Josey Hollis, in September and Naya says she didn’t worry about her weight while she was pregnant.
She said: "I completely let myself go when I was pregnant. Weight wasn’t something I wanted to focus on, so I ate anything and everything and had a blast."
However, once Josey was born, Naya was determined to get back into shape and lose the 60lbs she gained while pregnant.
She told the May issue of Fit Pregnancy and Baby: "Afterward, I was, like, ‘Let’s get back to business.’
"I’m not really self-motivated. And I don’t know what to do at the gym. I always feel lost. [Without a trainer] I’d probably just end up not working out, and then go to the steam room.
"I did a lot of weight training, which I had never done before. I was wearing maternity gear while working my butt off."
Meanwhile, Naya admitted to moments of self-doubt about her abilities as a parent but revealed she has never been happier.
She said: "You’re always going to wonder if you’re doing things wrong, but that’s what it means to be a mom, to care so much about someone else that you just want to be as perfect as possible."
