Naughty Boy collaborates with Ellie Goulding on new single

Naughty Boy has collaborated with Ellie Goulding on his next single.
The 31-year-old producer has revealed the "summery" track is called ‘Should’ve Been Me’ and it will be released next week.
Speaking at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Thursday (20.05.16), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "My next single is with Ellie Goulding – that’s an exclusive! It’s called ‘Should’ve Been Me’ – I have not told this to anyone before."
Naughty Boy – who has previously worked with the likes of Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé and Beyoncé – has teased his and Ellie’s song has a Jamaican "dancehall" feel with a touch of "reggae" and is sure it will "surprise" everyone.
He said: "Ellie is perfect for what’s next. I wanted to make something summery she is such a lovely person. The song has got a dancehall feel to it, it’s a bit reggae almost. I think people will be surprised."
Naughty Boy – whose real name is Shahid Khan – recorded the song with Ellie, 29, at the famous Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, London, where the likes of The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse and Sir Paul McCartney have all laid down tracks.
The pair were inspired after watching a film on ‘Hold Up’ hitmaker Beyoncé and Naughty Boy says the song is nothing like what the blonde beauty’s fans will have heard before.
On recording the track, he said: "We went to Metropolis to record it last week and we watched the Beyoncé documentary together and it was more than a session.
"Ellie’s on a world tour at the moment she is so busy so to take the time out to work with me was great. She has haunting vocals and I don’t think you are ever going to hear her on a song like this."
