Nadia Sawalha regrets going on Celebrity Big Brother

Nadia Sawalha regrets going one ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ "1000 million per cent".

The ‘Loose Women’ star has been subjected to a backlash since she left the house last week because of her behaviour on the reality show and her friendship with fellow housemate Perez Hilton.

Nadia has always been an avid watcher of ‘CBB’ but she wishes she hadn’t crossed the line from viewer to contestant.

When asked on ‘Lorraine’ whether she had any regrets about going into the house, she said: "Yeah, 1000 million per cent. I have always been a huge fan of the show and always will be and have always watched it and been judgemental of people and I’ve taken the cheque so now it’s my turn to be very harshly judged and I accept that."

The 50-year-old presenter-and-actress admits it’s been tough coping with the criticism that has come her way and she has been relying on the support of her husband, TV producer Mark Adderley, and her daughters to get back to normality.

She explained: "I am decompressing. Mark, has been amazing, my husband, I’ve literally laid in bed for the whole weekend while my family and lovely friends have just brought me back to reality."

Nadia – who appears in sitcom ‘Benidorm’ this week – frequently clashed with Katie Hopkins in the ‘CBB’ house but she is adamant it won’t upset her if the outspoken newspaper columnist wins.

She said: "If she wins I wish her well, I wish her well. I think she will have worked very hard to win so you know I hope for her sake she does."
