Adele’s new album called 25

Adele's new album will be called '25', according to official Twitter account of the World Music Awards.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer has been busy working on her third LP for the past several months and now a tweet posted on the @WORLDMUSICAWARD account has claimed the title will be the much-rumoured '25'.
According to the post, Adele will also be heading out on tour in 2015.
The post read: "#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album '25'! (sic)"
Adele previously hinted the LP would be called '25' after she turned 26 years old in May.
She made a post on her Twitter account which read: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x (sic)"
The title '25' follows on from the age-related names of her last two records, '19' and '21'.
Since the phenomenal success of '21', which was originally released in 2011, Adele's only other release has been single 'Skyfall' - the theme song of the James Bond film of the same name.

Pharrell Williams curates game soundtrack

Pharrell Williams says compiling a video game soundtrack was a "cool experience".
The 'Happy' hitmaker has selected a series of tracks for 'NBA 2K15' and hopes his choice of tunes proves to be "motivational" for players of the forthcoming sports title.
He said: "It was a cool experience. I tried to curate songs that were diverse but yet still proved to be motivational to gamers.
"It was important to me that the music complemented the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15. I hope everyone enjoys it."
Though Pharrell's selections haven't yet been unveiled, game creators 2K have promised an "eclectic" mix that players will enjoy.
The company's vice president of marketing Alfie Brody said: "Pharrell's passion and reputation as a visionary producer and expertise from working with the NBA will be evident in the largest and most eclectic NBA 2K soundtrack ever.
"We really listened to our fans' feedback on how we could improve their experience from a music standpoint, and we're confident Pharrell's collaboration in NBA 2K15 will impress players as much as it's impressed us."
'NBA 2K15' will be released in October for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Kanye West forbidden from writing Bond theme by Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner has forbid Kanye West from writing a James Bond theme song.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - whose daughter Kim Kardashian-West is married to the rapper and has a 13-month-old daughter, North, with him - is said to be furious with the 'Stronger' hitmaker after he secretly expressed interest in pitching a track to be used for the next instalment in the spy franchise.
The 58-year-old showbiz matriarch still holds a grudge against current 007, Daniel Craig, after he referred to her family as "f**king idiots" in an interview back in 2011 and has forbidden Kanye from having any involvement with the actor or the much-anticipated 23rd Bond movie unless Daniel, 46, apologises for his comments first.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kris isn't budging but Kanye is still desperate to do it.
"Kim isn't taking sides but is privately hoping he doesn't end up recording the theme."
Luckily for Kris, Bond bosses are said to be eyeing up Adele to record a follow-up to the Oscar-winning theme 'Skyfall' which she penned for the 2012 picture of the same name.
Although bosses will consider Kanye and several other artists if she declines the offer.
The source explained: "Kanye would do an amazing job but if Adele wants the gig its hers."

Fatboy Slim: Dance music ‘too commercial’

Fatboy Slim claims dance music has become "too commercial",
The veteran DJ - whose real name is Norman Cook - has confessed he feels as though the current popularity of dance music has resulted in pop stars trying to make money by putting a dance spin on their songs.
He explained: "It's got way too commercial and a lot of that electronic dance stuff really just sounds like pop music with squelchy noises.
"Before the internet it only happened after midnight in nightclubs and no-one really knew what went on."
The 50-year-old star - who is set to perform at a number of festivals throughout the summer - is also amazed by the new "rock-star" status of DJs.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "We've been put on a pedestal that possibly we don't deserve and it might have gone too absurdly in the other direction now.
"When I started doing this thirty years ago, a DJs status was just above that of a glass collector."
Fatboy also admitted that seeing DJs such as Calvin Harris become such big stars makes him feel proud.
The 'Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat' hitmaker added: "People like Calvin Harris come up to me and say, 'When I was a kid you were my inspiration', and that means a lot. I'm really chuffed that I'm still around and invited to the party.
"I kind of feel like a proud uncle when I see people like Calvin."

Amelia Lily: I’m a fresher version of Katy Perry

Amelia Lily believes she is a "younger and fresher" version of Katy Perry.
The 19-year-old singer - who came third on the 2011 series of the 'X Factor' UK - says the 'Roar' hitmaker and Pink are her two biggest music idols and she hopes to emulate their impressive pop careers.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've got musical idols - my top two would be Pink and Katy Perry and I feel like I'm kind of a younger, fresher version of them. Their music inspires me to write my own. They're my top two."
The 'You Bring Me Joy' singer was discovered on the same series of 'The X Factor' as winning act Little Mix, who have since gone on to achieve success across the world.
Amelia admits their success drives her on to do the same and top the charts in other countries as well as her native Britain.
When asked if Little Mix's achievements are an inspiration to her, she said: "It definitely inspires me. I'd love to go on to be an international success. I always said I'd like to start in the UK and then hopefully build across the globe but you know, take one step at a time.
"At the end of the day, it's all about the songs in my opinion. If you've got great songs, you can do what you wanna do - that's the way I look at it. But absolutely, I'd love to be an international success."
Amelia releases new single 'California' in August and she is confident the single will give fans a "great taste" of what she has to offer on her next album.
She said: "The song for me is just amazing because I feel like it represents where I am now in my career. It represents my brand new sound.
"For me, I think it's a great taste of what's to come on the album. And I've had a great reaction from it so I'm really pleased."
'California' comes out on August 24.

R. Kelly announces new house album

R. Kelly is working on an electronic dance album.
The singer is known as an R&B star but has revealed he is going to experiment with his sound and make a house record.
While on stage at the Chosen Few DJs Picnic event in Chicago, the 47-year-old musician told the crowd: "I want y'all to know a secret, I'm working on a house album right now, and I want y'all to know, it's coming."
As the audience cheered, the 'Bump 'n' Grind' singer added: "And y'all know, I love music and I feel like I can do anything when it comes to music because I am music just like y'all."
Kelly is yet to reveal any other details of the LP, but could be set to bring in the biggest names in dance after previously collaborating with pop legends such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Jay Z and P. Diddy.
To date, R. Kelly has released 12 albums, with his most recent record being 'Black Panties'. The album was a commercial success selling 133,000 copies in the United States within the first week and debuted at number four on the 'Billboard 200' chart.
As well as his house project the singer is working on a follow-up to his last album which will be called 'White Panties' and is set to feature Justin Bieber.
He also has plans for a festive album entitled 'The 12 Nights Of Christmas'.

Lily Allen wants kids to meet Miley Cyrus

Lily Allen is excited about her children meeting Miley Cyrus.
The 'Hard Out Here' singer will be performing in Australia later this month before joining Miley for her 'Bangerz' US tour on August 1 and she plans to introduce daughters Ethel, two, and 18-month-old Marnie, to the 'Wrecking Ball' singer when her kids join her in the States.
During an interview on BBC Radio 1 today (15.07.14), Lily - who is married to Sam Cooper - said: "I'm not going to take them to Australia.
"I'm only there for seven days and they're both under three so that would be a bit mean.
"But they are going to meet me in New York and then come on the bus with me and Miley.
"Although I don't think Miley will be on my bus, she's probably got other plans!"
Lily - who recently released her third album 'Sheezus' following a five-year break from recording - has had to get used to being a working mother since she made her pop return, but appreciates the fact she has a "bit of money" makes her life easier than it is for other working parents.
When asked by presenter Fearne Cotton how she balances her work and family life, Lily said: "Probably in the same way all other working mums manage it.
"It's probably a lot easier for me because I've got a bit of money and nannies and my job's really fun. I'm very happy, very lucky."
Lily will join Miley for seven shows starting in Uniondale, New York, and ending in St Louis, Missouri.

Ryan Tedder: Cowell’s label is aggressive

One Republic singer Ryan Tedder says he is always under pressure when working with Simon Cowell's record label Syco because it is "flat out aggressive".
The songwriter penned former 'X Factor' UK winner Leona Lewis' hit 'Bleeding Love' and has worked with many other Syco acts, including Alexandra Burke when she was with the company, One Direction and Ella Henderson, and although he enjoys it he admits the label make him work hard.
Talking to the upcoming issue of Fault magazine, Ryan explained: "His label is aggressive, flat-out aggressive. They have an objective, they have a goal, a single-minded goal and everyone at that label is dead on in their approach. They're like, 'Here's when it's coming out, here's when it's due.'
"Their calendar is their Bible. They cannot change dates of when something is going to be broadcast and so they have a more militant approach."
But the 32-year-old musician respects the tough approach of Simon and Syco and insists the music mogul's work ethic is one of the main reasons for his incredible chart success.
He added: "Simon didn't get to where he's got by sitting back in the passenger seat and just assuming or hoping that things will just take care of themselves."

Blink-182 start work on new album

Blink-182 have started work on a new album.
The American pop/punk band are back in the studio and have begun early sessions and rehearsals for their long-awaited seventh studio album.
Guitarist-and-vocalist Tom DeLonge made a post on his personal Instagram account of a photo of him and his two bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker as teenagers along with the news work on the new LP has started.
The caption read: "Rehearsals start today ... And yes there will be a new album #SorryForTheWait #Blink (sic)"
The album will be the group's first since 2011 release 'Neighborhoods', which was their comeback LP following their eight-year recording hiatus.
Now work has started on the record it could be completed quickly as bassist-and-vocalist Hoppus previously revealed the band work fast once they get started.
He previously told MTV News: "Once we start, it moves. It's like painting, you know? You've just got to start with that first brushstroke, and get your clothes off, and get the other person's clothes off, get a little bit of faeces, smear it around. Just get going."
