Noel Gallagher is still friends with his former Oasis bandmates.
The songwriter insists they are no hard feelings with the musicians he used to work with following his decision to quit the super-group in 2009 after a backstage bust-up with his brother, singer Liam Gallagher.
In the aftermath Noel launched a solo career while Liam formed new group Beady Eye with the other members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock.
However, the High Flying Birds frontman insists they all get along well now and spent a recent night together drinking.
Refusing to reveal whether Liam was involved in the meet-up, Noel said: "I was with some of Beady Eye the other night and they are still plugging away. They're good lads. We all got completely s**t-faced and we talked nonsense for hours. It was good."
Quickly stopping speculation they may have discussed an Oasis reunion, he added: "Though not about a reunion, for anyone trying to seize on that."
The 47-year-old musician was speaking at a Q&A session at Facebook HQ to announce his new album 'Chasing Yesterday' - out March 2 2015 - and one cheeky fan couldn't resist asking about the possibility of an Oasis reunion.
When quizzed if he'd play solo material when the band reforms, Noel laughed: "What reunion? You tell me, you seem to know."
The 'Don't Look Back In Anger' singer also scoffed at his brother Liam's criticism of the recent anniversary re-issue of Oasis' debut LP 'Definitely Maybe', insisting he wouldn't be complaining about the money earned from it
Noel said: "What did Liam say, (rehashing?) Really? I bet he didn't say that when he was putting the cheque in the bank."
As well as his new album Noel also announced his next single, 'In the Heat of the Moment', will be released digitally and on limited-edition vinyl on November 17 and he will be heading out on a UK arena tour next March.

Lorde has sung a parody of herself from 'South Park'.
The 17-year-old 'Royals' singer proved that she has a good sense of humour after she sang an excerpt of a song from the cartoon series 'South Park' - which claimed that Lorde was actually a middle aged man.
Talking to New Zealand's TV3, she joked: "I was thinking, 'Yeah he has a moustache ... I mean I have a moustache, but is it that prominent?' But it was someone's dad pretending to be me.
"We actually, in my hotel room, went, 'Ya ya ya ya I am Lorde! Ya ya ya!' for like an hour, because that's what they do on the episode."
At the time the episode of 'South Park' went live (09.10.14) she tweeted: "i have officially been the subject of 2 south park episodes and that is weird and cool (sic)"
The pop star also admitted to TV3 that Twitter has played a big role in finding the artists for 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack because it meant that she able to contact them directly.
She said: "I have been putting together 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack and probably half the artists on there, I sent them a DM [Direct Message]. Or a selfie on Instagram on private, saying, 'Can you email me?'
"It really is easy to reduce the steps in talking to someone and people appreciate it if you talk to people one-on-one. And I do it with fans too, send them a DM. They appreciate it and it's cool."

Noel Gallagher wishes his new album had a different title.
The 'Everybody's on the Run' singer has announced the release of 'Chasing Yesterday' in March 2015 and admits he struggled to come up with a name for the record as all his ideas were "f***ing s**t".
He said: "Effectively it doesn't really have a title, I couldn't really come up with a title for it and every time I did somebody would say to me that's f****ing s**t. I literally came up with it last week but it'll have to do for now, if I could change it I would change it."
And the former Oasis rocker admits he always hates coming up with album titles and would rather fans made their own names up for his records.
Speaking during a Q and A session streamed live on Facebook, he said: "If I could stick an album out with a plain white sticker on it and say "Call it what you want" I would."
Noel - who will release new single, 'In the Heat of the Moment' next month - admits working titles for the album paid tribute to Pink Floyd and The Smiths' classic albums 'Dark Side of the Moon' and 'Meat is Murder'.
Asked about the record's working titles, he said: "'Dark Side of The Room', 'Wheat is Murder'. Look a title is a title it's really about the tunes at the end of the day."
Meanwhile, the singer also admitted one track on the album, 'Lock All the Doors' has taken 23 years to complete.
He said: "I always meant to finish it off, I kept the chorus but I could never find a way of getting the verses and chorus to tie up. One day I was coming out of Tesco Metro in Maida Vale, where I live, and it just came to me. The song is from 1993 but the chorus was so f***ing brilliant I never forgot it."

Noel Gallagher wants to headline Glastonbury.
The 47-year-old rocker would love to top the bill at the iconic music festival - which takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England - because he will be attending as a spectator anyway.
Asked if he is eyeing up a headline slot at the event during a Q&A with fans streamed live from Facebook's London headquarters, he said: "Am I eyeing it up? If I was asked if do it yeah - I'd headline the spoken word tent...
"If Michael Eavis is watching, yeah I'll do it ... I'm up for doing it and I'm going to be going anyway."
Despite Noel's former band Oasis headlining Glastonbury in both 1995 and 2004, the rocker doesn't think they ever performed as well as they should have on the famous Pyramid Stage.
He said: "We never really got on with it. I couldn't tell you why. Lord knows we had the tunes.
"The time we did it and it should have been great was the first year we headlined and we got side-tracked cause we just finished [second album] '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' and, it was suicide, we decided to play six tracks off 'Morning Glory' that no one had heard, with one of those being 'Champagne Supernova' which goes on for half an hour.
"I remember I played 'Don't Look Back In Anger' for the first time to total silence and it's the only time it's ever happened. It never really got going and maybe the second time we headlined it our moment had passed."
Noel - who famously slammed the festival for choosing Jay Z as a headliner in 2008 - admitted he "didn't watch a single band" at the 2014 Glastonbury, but still had a brilliant time.
He said: "I was there this year. I was there all three days and I didn't watch a single band and watched it all when I got home. It was brilliant this year but I didn't see a band. I clapped Lars Ulrich on stage but as much as I love him and I've known him for 20 years it dawned on me after 30 seconds, 'F**k this is heavy metal.' So I went off to some acid house tent to re-live my youth."

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will release their new album in March.
The former Oasis guitarist and songwriter announced 'Chasing Yesterday' will be released on March 2 2015 during a live Q&A session streamed on Facebook earlier today (13.10.14).
The record marks Noel's first foray into producing and he admits he didn't enjoy the process.
Speaking during the interview in London, he said: "I didn't like it. I enjoyed the freedom of it but I didn't enjoy managing the sessions. I'm used to sitting in a studio and saying, 'So what we doing today?' whereas with this I had people in the studio sat in devil chairs asking me, 'What we doing today?'
"The end product is great but it was a pain in the a**e."
Former The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr plays on one track on the album, 'Ballad of the Mighty I' and though Noel has known him for a long time, he was still stunned by the quality of his musicianship.
He said: "Johnny plays on the closing track. Which is going to be my next single and he's f***ing brilliant. He was coming to the studio with two guitars and nobody noticed him.
"I put this track together and knew he would be perfect for it I called him and asked if I could send him the rough mix. He said, 'No.' I was like, 'Can I give you anything?' He was like, 'No.'
"I got him in the studio and played it to him and he was like, 'F***ing hell I wasn't expecting that.' He is a truly great guitarist and one if my oldest friends but he's got something in his guitar playing that not a lot of people have got. Maybe only him and Nile Rodgers can do what he does. He's amazing and a top man."
Ahead of the release of the album, a new single, 'In the Heat of the Moment' will be released digitally and on limited-edition vinyl on November 17.
And Noel has also announced he and his band will embark on an arena tour in March, beginning at Belfast's Odyssey Arena and calling at Nottingham, Glasgow and Manchester before finishing at London's O2 Arena.
The album is available to pre-order now and tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday (17.10.14).

Madonna gave MNEK a bag of lemons and some throat-soothing tea bags to help him keep his voice in tip-top shape.
The 19-year-old singer/songwriter has teamed up with the music legend on a song for her upcoming new album and admits the 56-year-old star gave him plenty of advice about how to look after his vocal chords.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "She's really cool. So lovely and very motherly. She gave me a bag full of lemons and Throat Coat tea bags. They're pretty amazing."
MNEK is set to perform at a new music initiative, MUSIC CUBE, at shopping centre Westfield London, west London, alongside Neon Jungle later this month, and the star insists it is important for new platforms to be created to promote live music for up-and-coming talent.
He added: "I'm really excited by the MUSIC CUBE concept. I love performing live and it's great to see that Westfield has created a new way for people to experience and interact with live music.
"MUSIC CUBE is also about supporting up-and-coming independent talent so I'm looking forward to seeing the other new acts over the two weekends."
MNEK and Neon Jungle will take to the stage in a bespoke soundproof glass cube at MUSIC CUBE, which is exclusive to Westfield London (October 24-26) and Westfield Stratford City (October 31-November 2).
Free tickets are available now at: http://uk.westfield.com/london/musiccube for Westfield London
