Duran Duran want to win the Q Emoticon Award in 2016.
The British band were named the Q Icon award winners at the event at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London earlier today (19.10.15), and have revealed they've set their sights even higher for 12 months' time.
Nick Rhodes, who founded the group in 1978, told BANG Showbiz: "I thought icons were things on computers, like small symbols."
To which band-mate Simon Le Bon shot back, jokingly: "No that's emoticons! We're going to come back and win the emoticon award next year, you get presented with a small smiley face."
Meanwhile, the band members also revealed they keep their accolades in some rather unusual places.
Asked where he keeps his awards, Nick said: "In a cardboard box in a garden shed. So no one will steal them of course."
By contrast, Simon said he keeps his prizes with family members, revealing: "My mum has got some [and] my dad has got some."
What's more, Nick revealed he was surprised to have been handed the Icon Award, having previously won a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 53-year-old star said: "You know the funny thing is the last time we won a Q Award, I think it was a Lifetime Achievement Award, we sort of thought they were trying to tell us something at the time. At least the Icon Award shows that there's life after a Lifetime Achievement Award.
"It's a good awards ceremony it's lunchtime, there was a great crowd in I saw Gary Numan, Jean Michelle Jarre, Tony Iommi - who is from Birmingham like me - and of course New Order."

Katy Perry's 151-show Prismatic World Tour ended in Costa Rica last night (18.10.15).
The 30-year-old pop-star blazed a trail across Europe, Australia, Asia and North and South America during her third ever tour, which saw her perform hits from her fourth studio album 'Prism'.
The 'Roar' hitmaker closed with a sell-out show in San Jose, Costa Rica, and took to social media to show her excitement.
She wrote: "ONE. LAST. TIME. #ThePrismaticWorldTour #151 (sic)"
However, Katy added afterward that she felt it was time to take a break and rejuvenate.
She wrote: "151 shows later it is only By The Grace Of God that I made each & every one of them. Thank you, time to grow now... (sic)"
The star - who was named the third highest paid celebrity in the world by Forbes this year after earning $135 million, largely thanks to the success of the tour - thrilled fans with a futuristic concept and mixed Amazonian tribal costume with outfits inspired by outer space.
The 'Dark Horse' singer's fascination with cats also featured as she dressed backing dancers in full tiger costumes, while she adorned a pink hot catsuit with ears and a tail.
However, Katy also posted a cryptic tweet that suggested she won't be slowing down for long.
She wrote: "The higher you get up the mountain, the stronger the wind blows."

Grateful Dead's bassist Phil Lesh is battling bladder cancer.
The 75-year-old musician has revealed he was diagnosed earlier this month, but is "fortunate" that the tumours are "non-aggressive".
Phil - who's cancelled two Phil & Friends gigs - wrote on the website for his restaurant, Terrapin Crossroads: "Dear Friends, I am sorry to let you know that I will need to cancel the October 24th and 25th Phil & Friends shows with Chris Robinson.
"I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in early October, and have spent the last few weeks at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale doing tests and eventually surgery to remove the tumors.
"I am very fortunate to have the pathology reports show that the tumors are all non aggressive, and that there is no indication that they have spread."
The 'Sugar Magnolia' star told fans he will be able to perform two weeks after undergoing surgery and promised to return with a free live show soon.
He continued: "So thanks to my local doctor Cliff Sewell, and the incredible team at the Mayo Clinic, all is well and I can return to normal activities in two weeks from my surgery. Unfortunately, that means I will have to cancel the PLF shows scheduled for Oct 24/25.
"We will reschedule these shows as soon as we can, but in the meantime, keep a lookout for a free Grate Room show before I leave for the East Coast shows. I also plan to pop in and jam in the bar before we leave, so I hope to see you there at Terrapin. Love Will See You Through.... -Phil (sic)"

Black Sabbath's legendary guitarist Tony Iommi will receive the Gibson Les Paul Award at the 2015 Q Awards.
The heavy metal pioneer - who's played a Gibson guitar for the duration of his career - is receiving the award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to music, pop culture and as part of the 100th-anniversary celebrations of the birth of Les Paul guitars.
In a statement, Tony said: "I'm very honoured to receive the Les Paul Award, so many thanks to Q magazine and Gibson - I have a long history with the guitar-maker."
Meanwhile, Q magazine's editor Matt Mason hailed Tony's impact on the genre.
He said: "Tony is one of those rare guitar players in that he truly defines a genre and a sound.
"His influence is huge but, equally, there is a real finesse in his playing that often gets overlooked. It harks back to his early love of Django Reinhardt - the legendary gypsy-jazz guitarist - who was a formative influence on Tony.
"As with all great musicians, Tony hears the world in a totally unique way, and that is what the Gibson Les Paul celebrates."
Tony follows in the footsteps of last year's winner Johnny Marr.

Miguel was a "late bloomer."
The Grammy-award winning singer, 29, has admitted he had a delayed early adult life because his mother was determined to keep him away from any bad influences due to her to strong religious background.
He told the Guardian: "My mother was really into her religion and I was, too, to be honest with you. But at the same time I was torn because as a kid you want to do things.
"And my mum was very keen on keeping me away from temptation. I was not part of the social scene in high school. I wasn't going to parties, I wasn't drinking, I wasn't smoking, I definitely wasn't smoking weed, I wasn't having sex."
He added: "I was a late bloomer, really late bloomer."
The 'Sure Thing' hitmaker - whose real name is Miguel Jontel Pimentel - started to go against his mother's strong views and opinions when he reached college.
He explained: "It was like living a double life. I was doing a lot of things I'm not supposed to be doing, that are viewed by the Bible as immoral. So I decided, if I was going to that, I wasn't going to pretend to be something I'm not."
He added: "I'm still very much in touch with my spirituality, I never gave up on God. I just found my own way."

Geri Horner is making a folk album.
The former Spice Girl climbed to the top of the charts as part of the girl group with a number of pop tracks in the 90s but is ready to release "mature" music.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's going to be a new, much more mature sound for Geri.
"A few songs sound very folky, but there are other styles as well. It tells a story of her life."
And next year may give the 43-year-old singer even more to celebrate as it was previously revealed the 'Wannabe' hitmakers were considering a reunion tour.
She said previously: "I think it's really faltering that people are still supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively, that's beautiful, it's really nice. It almost feels you know that it (the Spice Girls) belongs to everyone, like a generation. So I think it's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it."
And Geri - who was known under alias Ginger Spice whilst in the band - also admitted her break from music gave her more time to be a mother to daughter Bluebell, nine.
She shared: "I wanted to be a mum first and foremost, that's more important I think. But then I thought maybe I could write songs that we can all relate to, I love the creative process, but it's just taken me ages to go through that transition of being that pop star that wears hot pants to grow up a little bit and find that material that really reflects who I am, so I've been working on it for ages."

Adele previewed a new song on Sunday (18.10.15).
The 27-year-old singer - whose last release was 2012's 'Skyfall' - surprised fans by teasing a new track during a commercial break for TV show 'The X Factor'.
The advert contained just white text on a black background and Adele's voice could be heard singing the words.
She sang: "Hello, it's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet to go over everything. They say that time's supposed to heal you, but I ain't done much healing."
No further information was given.
Adele's last album was the 2011 record '21'.
Meanwhile, Adele reportedly turned down millions to record the 'Spectre' theme song.
The Grammy Award-winning artist - who co-wrote and sang the title track for 'Skyfall' in 2012 - didn't reprise her singing duties for the forthcoming James Bond movie because it would be too hard to beat her global smash.
A source said: "Adele was James Bond himself's first choice. Daniel Craig was really keen and (director) Sam Mendes was 50/50 over whether to use her or a fresh voice.
"Filmmakers were prepared to offer millions but Adele was never up for it.
"How do you top a worldwide hit like 'Skyfall' any way? It was too big a risk."
The 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker is currently focused on the launch of her much-anticipated third studio album and recently met up with One Direction's tunesmith Jamie Scott to get some advice.
A source added: "She has a mass of material but can't settle on what. She spent a day with 1D songwriter Jamie Scott but that probably won't see the light of day either."

Selena Gomez's parents don't want her to go on tour.
The 23-year-old singer, who recently revealed she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus three years ago, is planning to hit the road to promote her new album, 'Revival', but her mother, Mandy, and stepfather Brian Teefey have urged her to focus on her health.
A source said: "Her parents are terribly upset she's planning a new concert tour and are begging her to reconsider. They don't think her body can handle that."
But the 'Same Old Love' hitmaker, who fired her parents as her managers in April 2014, doesn't care what anyone thinks.
The insider told Life & Style Weekly: "She has a new sense of empowerment and freedom. Nobody can really tell her anything right now."
Selena recently insisted she is feeling good, but admitted she has to take care of herself.
She said: "You'll have it forever. It's kind of one of those situations. You just have to take care of yourself."

Kwabs performed a sold-out homecoming show in London on Saturday (17.10.15).
The 'Walk' hitmaker wowed London's Roundhouse with his first show in the capital since the release of his debut album 'Love + War' last month, following a UK tour and dates around Europe.
Two tracks into his set, he explained to the audience: "Now that I've got your attention, I'd like to say it's nice to see you all again! You see we've been all over the place. We've been in what feels like a different country every day, week and month so it feels good to be home.
"Thank you all for being here. It means a whole lot and that's from the bottom of my heart."
The critically lauded singer, 25, opened the show with the tension-building title track from the record before showcasing other songs from the LP including 'Layback' and 'Look Over Your Shoulder', during which he introduced his band and flaunted his dancefloor talents with a flurry of choreographed moves.
The MTV EMA and MOBO nominee - whose full name is Kwabena Adjepong - showed off his versatile voice for over an hour at the venue, where he stripped back his sound to sing 'Forgiven' and his cover of James Blake's 'The Wilhelm Scream' before raising the roof with a rendition of Major Lazer's 'Lean On'.
Later, he brought out rising star Zak Abel - who opened for him earlier in the evening - for a duet of emotional ballad 'Cheating On Me' which proved to be another of the show's many highlights, as well as encore tracks 'Walk' and 'Perfect Ruin'.
With over two years of touring experience, Kwabs' stage show is better than ever and by the sound of his debut release, his is a name we'll be hearing far more about in the future.
