Rod Stewart claims he once almost died in a plane crash.
The 70-year-old rocker has admitted he feared for his life after a goose flew into the engine of his private jet.
Recalling the ordeal, he said: "My manager and I nearly lost our lives when a goose flew into our plane engine after takeoff from Switzerland. We landed safely amidst the non-pleasant aroma of a roast goose Christmas dinner."
Rod rarely gets stage fright, but admits he freaked out before performing in front of Queen Elizabeth.
He said: "One of my most nerve-racking concerts was for Queen Elizabeth II. I looked in her eyes as I sang my 'Great American Songbook' standards."
Meanwhile, the 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' hitmaker has admitted he feels most relaxed at home with his family.
He told UsWeekly magazine: "The most important holiday for me is Father's Day - above Christmas. I have eight children. I'm happiest when I have a loud, bustling house."
Despite living in Los Angeles, Rod enjoys "a Sunday roast every week with five couples" there.
The British musician has also insisted he's "not tight" with his money "despite what Ronnie Wood says."
But he added: "In fact, when I moved, I bought my wife [Penny Lancaster] a teapot."

Selena Gomez is ready to quit the limelight.
The 23-year-old singer recently released her new album 'Revival' and is seems it may be her last studio collection for a while as she is now reportedly eager to lead a normal life.
A source told the US' OK! magazine: "Selena's life is always under a magnifying glass. She doesn't want to deal with it anymore. This isn't a phase she'll get over. Underneath her spirited façade, Selena is a mess.
"She cries all the time thinking about the hypocrisy and backstabbing that comes with the entertainment industry.
"This album will be her last - she only did it because she was under contract - and she's told her agent that she's done with acting too."
The brunette beauty is planning to go on tour next summer and is starring in 'Neighbours 2,' but doesn't want to take on any more projects after that.
The insider said: "Just because she made a lot of money in Hollywood doesn't mean she has to stay."
Meanwhile, the 'Good For You' hitmaker, who had a four-year on/off relationship with troubled pop star Justin Bieber, recently admitted she doesn't trust anyone.
She said: "I don't trust anyone...It's something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn't good for me.
"I feel like I can say I have a sense of judgement, but I think it will always be there, you know. There will always be that question mark of, 'Who is this person and do I trust them?' That always happens."

Gary Numan doesn't care about current electronic music.
The 'Cars' hitmaker admitted he takes no interest in popular EDM and doesn't consider him to be waving a flag for the genre.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I don't really care [about Electronic music] to be honest. I just look after myself. I do my own thing and make sure I am doing what I want to do and the rest of it does what it likes. I'm not a flag waving champion for electronic music."
Asked what inspires him to make music nowadays, he said: "Same as always really the life you lead the things that happen. Electronic music is technology driven. We are being fed constantly new equipment and new software, so in a way it's easy because you are given these amazing things that you couldn't do a year ago and I find that exciting because I'm anarchy and geeky."
He added: "As I say I find it easy to be inspired. I don't have to look around too much for something to do it, it's right there in front of me."

Janis Winehouse thinks a posthumous Amy Winehouse release would tarnish her reputation.
The late star's mother has opened up about the possibility of another album created from the singer's demos, insisting she is not keen on the idea as she believes Amy, who tragically passed away in 2011, would have hated it.
She told BANG Showbiz: "Amy was very fussy about what she did. Oh so precious. If she did something, she'd say 'No, that is not right.' You would say 'That is OK.' And she would say 'No, it's not.' And that was Amy."
Janis' partner Richard Collins also slammed the idea of another album following the release of 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' released four months after Amy's death.
Asked about whether there's one in the works, he explained: "We don't know. As far as we know there is nothing. But the record company may know more than we do."
Questioned on whether he'd support such a release, he said: "If it was good enough. There are bits and pieces but they are rubbish and it is an insult to her and an insult to the fans. I know they would want it but it would still be an insult to them to buy a bit of tat."

Adele has ruled out doing Glastonbury 2016.
The 27-year-old singer - who released the first single 'Hello' from her second album '25' today - has responded to rumours she will be playing the prestigious British music festival next year.
She told Capital London's Breakfast Show: "I think I have made myself pretty clear on Glastonbury. The crowds are too big - I don't know if I could do it."
The singer/songwriter then then joked of how people take their personal hygiene for granted at the infamous mud-fest and admitted she once had an accident waiting in the front row at a festival.
She added: "Well, the front row - they always do a poo and a pee so they don't lose their spot. They do - I have seen it happen! I nearly did it myself years ago. It's true, that is why it stinks down the front."
Earlier this morning BBC Radio 1 debuted 'Hello' and Adele admitted she was reduced to tears listening to it and seeing how fans reacted so positively on social media.
After it was aired, she said: "I obviously want people to like it.
"When I wrote it I knew this would be the first thing everyone heard from me. I thought no-one's going to know it's me. It'll backfire. When I looked there were three tweets.
"I thought I'd missed my window. But then my boyfriend told me there were loads."

Duran Duran will be honoured with the first ever MTV Video Visionary Award at the MTV EMAs on Sunday (25.10.15).
The 'Rio' hitmakers will receive the honour for their unique sound and strong visual sense, and for influencing a generation of musicians with some of the greatest pioneering music videos of all time.
In a statement, the band - fronted by Simon Le Bon - said: "It is no coincidence that our rise was paralleled by the growth and ultimate world domination of MTV. The birth of music videos as a way to simultaneously bring our music to a global audience revolutionised the business."
As well as thanking MTV, the band also took the opportunity to extend their gratitude to the various directors they've worked with over the years.
They said: "We took this new short form of film making and tried to make it our own. We have had some incredible experiences over the years making our videos.
"We have worked with some of the most talented directors in the world - without whom we would not be honored here today. We are really proud to be the recipients of this new award. Thank you MTV."
The 2015 MTV EMA premieres live on MTV, Sunday October 25 at 9pm.

Dionne Bromfield feels her "life is made" after meeting Beyoncé.
The 19-year-old singer-songwriter met Beyoncé after her husband Jay Z performed at the Wireless festival and Dionne has fond memories of the encounter with the Grammy-winning star.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Dionne said: "I remember Beyoncé told me, 'Come and sit down next to me', and then she said to me, 'I know all your music'. And I thought, she is just saying this.
"She knew 'Mama Said', and I was like, Beyoncé knows my stuff! Life is perfect now!"
Dionne - who recently starred in 'Friday Download The Movie (Up All Night)' - also revealed she's currently preparing to release new music later this year, having enjoyed an extended break from the business.
Dionne confessed: "I've had two albums out by the age of sixteen, to me that was a big thing, but that is not normal for an average person, but it was normal to me.
"You will definitely be hearing music from me at least by the end of this year, and more of my own stuff will be the beginning of next year."
And the London-born singer revealed her new music will be noticeably different to her previous tunes.
Dionne said: "It's a little bit different to what I usually do. You can definitely see the progression and that I have grown.
"This is me - this is the new stamp that I needed."

Plan B is reportedly working on a comeback album.
The 'Stay Too Long' hitmaker - whose real name is Ben Drew - disappeared from the spotlight in 2012, after the release of 'Ill Manors' and his film of the same name, but is seemingly set to make a much-anticipated return.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Ben became a dad and took his time to get back in the studio. The album sounds soulful with no rapping at the moment."
The news comes as a surprise because after becoming a dad, Ben was in limbo about his career and even considered giving it all up for his daughter.
The 32-year-old star previously said: "I'm completely in love with her, she's the most important thing in my life. More important than music or film or anything.
"It makes the next album very difficult because I know how long I'm going to have to be away from her in order to make the next album successful and that scares me a bit.
"So I'm at a crossroads in terms of what I want to talk about and whether or not I even want that in my life anymore."
Plan B's third album is expected to be released in 2016.

Tori Kelly wants to duet with Justin Timberlake.
The American songstress - who's already collaborated with Ed Sheeran on her track 'I Was Made for Loving You' - is keen to work with the former N' Sync star as she's been a fan of his since she was a little girl.
She said: "It would be cool to do a song with Justin Timberlake, I've been a fan of his since I was 6 years old."
And the blonde beauty - who will perform on Sunday (25.10.15) at the MTV European Music Awards in Milan, Italy - also aired her interest in writing songs with James Bay after she recently met the singer, who she's a "massive fan" of.
She told Digital Spy: "I just recently got to meet James Bay, who I'm a massive fan of. It would be cool to write with him."
Meanwhile, Tori recently revealed how much she enjoyed working with Ed Sheeran, saying he's a laid-back character in both a personal and professional context.
She shared: "He's so laid back in the studio and super chill. He's just like that as a person too."
