Haim, Nelly and Taylor Swift on stage

Haim and Nelly joined Taylor Swift on stage in St. Louis last night (29.09.15).
The 'Days Are Gone' singers duetted with the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker at the Scottrade Center for her '1989' world tour and followed in the footsteps of a long list of celebrity pals to sing with the pop star.
Inviting the sisters up after she sang 'The Fix' with Nelly, Taylor announced: "Are you ready for what's about to happen, will you please welcome Haim onto the stage!"
The trio - including Este, Danielle and Alana Haim - wore white dresses that matched the pop star's skimpy play suit and the quartet performed as backing singers to Nelly as he belted out fan favourite 'Hot In Herre'.
After the rapper exited the stage the girls sang hits 'Forever' and 'Let Me Go' to the 22,000 strong crowd.
Haim - who are good friends with the 'Bad Blood' singer - took to social media afterwards to thank the star.
They wrote: "The highlight of our friendship thus far @HAIMtheband PS WE LOVE YOU @Nelly_Mo
#1989TourStLouis (sic)"
Meanwhile, 'Riptide' crooner Vance Joy - known for performing with his ukelele - also joined Taylor on stage.
The Australian's 25 minute set included a cover of Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' and his own track 'Georgia'.

Lady Gaga named ‘Woman of the Year’

Lady Gaga has been named Woman Of The Year by Billboard.
The 'Born This Way' hitmaker has been recognised for her music achievements and contribution to the industry by the news and charts retailer and said she is "so grateful" to be honoured with the gong.
The singer took to social media site Twitter and said: "I can't believe @billboard named me Woman of the year thank you so much. I am so so so so grateful. My gosh good morning! (sic)"
The 'Bad Romance' crooner has sold 28 million albums and won six Grammy Awards but spent most of 2015 working as an actress in series 'American Horror Story: Hotel'.
Liz Gateley from female-focused cable network Lifetime - who will televise the Billboard awards in December - said: "Lady Gaga is an extraordinary artist, emblematic of the strength, courage and fortitude that Lifetime celebrates, and we are thrilled to offer our platform to recognise her in every way she deserves."
The star's other projects this year include the release of 'Anything Goes', a duet with Tony Bennett, and the pair just completed a 36-show tour in North America and Europe singing tracks from their 2014 album 'Cheek to Cheek'.
Lady Gaga is also expected to release her fifth studio album next year.
Meanwhile, other winners of the Woman of the Year Award have included Taylor Swift - who picked up the accolade at last year's event - and Pink, Katy Perry and Beyoncé.
The award was created in 2007 and given away to Reba McEntire who was recognised as one of the 50 most powerful female music executives.

Camila Cabello says Fifth Harmony will split

Camila Cabello says Fifth Harmony will eventually split up.
The 18-year-old singer, who landed a place in the band via 'The X Factor' USA in 2012, thinks "it's harder" for manufactured groups to remain together because they rarely share the same long-term vision.
Asked whether she expects the group to break up in the future, she said: "Honestly, I think we all do. We'd be lying if we all said this is a picture-perfect thing, like we all completely agreed on the album track list and what the sound and the music video treatment would be like, which usually happens in bands who grew up together. But for manufactured bands, it's harder."
But the brunette beauty insists she still gets along well with her bandmates, Dinah Jane Hansen, 18, Lauren Jauregui, 19, Normani Kordei, 19, and Ally Brooke Hernandez, 22, and they have no plans to part ways soon.
She told Latina magazine: "The cool part is that we allow one another to do our own thing within this thing. I think it's healthy because if not, personally, I would go insane."
Meanwhile, the 'Worth It' hitmaker, who previously dated Austin Mahone, admits she is "really, really, really close" to Shawn Mendes, but claims they're not in a relationship.
She said: "I'm never the type of person that uses work as an excuse not to fall in love. I mean, I'm 18, c'mon! I'm at a point now where I just need to take a break. But if something happens, then something happens."

RATM sorry for inspiring Limp Bizkit

Rage Against The Machine are sorry for inspiring Limp Bizkit.
While Fred Durst's band have repeatedly praised the 'Killing in the Name' band for paving the way in the music industry, bassist Tim Commerford is horrified that the two groups have any association at all.
He told Rolling Stone: "I do apologise for Limp Bizkit. I really do. I feel really bad that we inspired such bulls**t."
Mistakenly believing Limp Bizkit have split, he added: ""They're gone, though. That's the beautiful thing. There's only one left, and that's Rage, and as far as I'm concerned, we're the only one that matters."
The snub will not please Durst, who has repeatedly spoken of his love for RATM and insisted they inspired his own band.
Limp Bizkit regularly plays 'Killing In The Name' during their concerts and at a 2014 gig in New York, he even dedicated a song to Rage, "the rap-rock band that started this s**t."
Commerford has previously shown his disdain for Limp Bizkit, crashing the stage and climbing the backdrop during the MTV VMAs in 2000, when his band were beaten by their rivals in the Best Rock Video category.
He said: "It's aged like wine. I get more people that come up to me now. Back in 2000, it was like, 'Dude, I saw you do that. What was that all about?' Now, it's like, 'Dude, I saw you do that. That was so f**kin' awesome! I love that.' It feels more comfortable now to talk about.
"I wish I would've swung on that thing and brought it to the ground and just destroyed it. If I could do it all over again, I would've ripped that thing to the ground and shredded it."

Sir Elton John: Lady Gaga’s new music will be ‘fantastic’

Sir Elton John has teased Lady Gaga's fans can expect "fantastic" new music.
The 68-year-old musician - who named Gaga the godmother of his two sons Zachary and Elijah - has heard new tracks from the star's as-yet untitled fourth solo studio album and told fans they can expect great things from the collection.
He said: "She's in the throes of writing her new album and I've heard some of it and it's absolutely fabulous.
"She's been doing lots of different things but I can tell you I've heard a couple of things from her new album and it's really, really fantastic."
The Candle In The Wind hitmaker - who can now be listened to on Amazon Prime Music along with other Universal Music Group artists including Kanye West, The Rolling Stones and Katy Perry - previously performed with Lady Gaga at the Grammy Awards in 2010.
And they sang separately at the Rock for the Rainforest concert in the same year, when Elton claims music legend Bruce Springsteen said he wished he had recorded Gaga's chart-topping hit 'Bad Romance'.
Speaking on his Beats 1 show, he recalled: "We were all on stage together at the Rainforest [Fund] Concert in New York, with Bruce Springsteen, Sting and James Taylor. And Springsteen was saying, 'God I wish I'd have written that song', you could hear Bruce actually singing 'Bad Romance', it's a real Springsteen type song."

Carly Rae Jepsen grateful to Justin Bieber

Carly Rae Jepsen is "so grateful" to Justin Bieber.
The 29-year-old singer found fame with her song 'Call Me Maybe' which became a huge hit after the 21-year-old popstar tweeted about it and both Justin and his former girlfriend Selena Gomez appeared in the music video.
Carly told Huff Post Live: "If I had known he was going to tweet about it, I would have been hiding under a rock. It was life-changing. It all of a sudden got all of this attention.
"I'm so grateful to him and to Selena and everybody for that. It's one of those things you don't really know how to ever pay back."
And Carly also revealed she is a huge fan of Justin's new music, including comeback singles 'What Do You Mean', and 'Where Are You Now'.
She said: "I love his music, it's probably the best stuff I've heard from him so far. As a young musician you're constantly changing and I love what he is doing."

Kendrick Lamar to perform with orchestra

Kendrick Lamar will perform with a full orchestra next month.
The rapper will perform songs from his 'To Pimp a Butterfly' album at the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington DC on October 20.
An announcement on the venue's website reads: "Kendrick Lamar brings his unique brand of jazz-infused hip-hop to the NSO Pops for a one-night-only performance featuring some of Lamar's biggest hits and cuts from his lyrical masterpiece 'To Pimp a Butterfly'."
Steven Reineke, who is in his fifth year as Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, will conduct the performance.
Kendrick released his third studio album 'To Pimp a Butterfly' to critical acclaim earlier this year and revealed he inspired to make an album void of "catchiness" following the success of his second record.
He explained: "I wasn't in the space creatively to make any other type of record. I didn't have the urge to. You've got three singles on 'good kid, m.A.A.d City': 'Swimming Pools (Drank)', 'Poetic Justice', and 'Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe'. This time, I said to myself: 'I don't want the catchiness.' I want people to live with [the album] and dissect it for a long time."

Zayn Malik’s solo material sounding ‘really good’

Zane Lowe thinks Zayn Malik's solo material is "really good".
The Beats 1 DJ has heard a sneak peak of the former One Direction singer's forthcoming music and thinks people will be impressed when they hear it.
Speaking in the new issue of Heat magazine, he said: "I heard something by Zayn and it was really good. I don't know what people expect but he sounds great."
And Lowe suggested the songs will be very different to the 22-year-old star's work with his former band.
He added: "People will be drawn to his music in a different way."
It was recently claimed Zayn is planning to move to America.
The singer is currently Stateside working on solo material and doesn't look set to move back to the UK any time soon as he was reportedly heard chanting "f**k London" at a party recently.
A source said: "He definitely seems happier over there and doesn't act as though he wants to come back to the UK any time soon.
"It's the lazy Californian lifestyle he loves. What he said at the party sums up his attitude. He's done with Britain."

Olly Murs gutted he passed ‘Want To Want Me’ to Jason Derulo

Olly Murs is "gutted" he missed out on a number one with Jason Derulo's 'Want To Want Me'.
The 'X Factor' host originally recorded the song but after he struggled to hit the high notes, he passed it on to the 'Talk Dirty' hitmaker and is now regretting not trying to make the pop track work for his voice.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Olly was a bit gutted to see it go on and become the song of the summer. But he has no hard feelings.
"He still likes listening to it. Although he has admittedly had a few doubts about whether he should have tried harder to make it work for him rather than letting another artist have it."
The single has been one of the biggest-selling songs of the summer and has been top of the charts around the world, including reaching number one in the UK and going multi-platinum in the US.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old pop star recently split up from his girlfriend property manager Francesca Thomas, 26, and reportedly had concerns about their relationship because he puts his music first.
A source previously said: "The split has just happened and it is very raw for Olly, he still feels numb.
"He always worried that his relationship would struggle because he'd always put his career first."
