Radiohead's album 'OK Computer' is the Greatest Album of the '90s according to Q Magazine readers.
The band's seminal 1997 chart-topping LP has been voted the most "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" LP of the 20th century, beating Oasis 'Definitely Maybe' and Nirvana's 'In Utero' to the title.
The third studio album from the British rockers - fronted by 'Fake Plastic Trees' crooner Thom Yorke - laid the groundwork for the experimental sound they later followed, which spouted hits 'Paranoid Android', 'Karma Police' and 'Lucky' and is credited for signalling the end of the Britpop era.
It narrowly beat solo artist Tricky's 'Maxinquaye' to first place.
Commenting on the results, Q's Senior Editor Matt Mason said: "The 90s was such an inventive time for music and it's only now with a decade-and-a-half's distance that we can really appreciate how some of the bands and records of the decade shaped - and continue to shape - the musical and cultural landscape of today."
He added: "We're still learning about a lot of these albums: with the passage of time, bands have opened up more about the secrets and stories behind them and there are plenty of new insights and tales to be uncovered."
The full list of the 100 Greatest Albums of the '90s appears in this month's Q Magazine on sale from tomorrow (27.10.15).
The Top Ten '90s Albums:
1. Radiohead - 'OK Computer'

David Bowie's new single 'Blackstar' is to be released on November 20.
The 68-year-old music legend has confirmed the news via his official Facebook page, and he also revealed his much-anticipated new studio album - also titled 'Blackstar' - will go on sale on his birthday, January 8, 2016.
The statement read: "It can now be confirmed that 'Blackstar' is the forthcoming single and album from David Bowie."
What's more, Bowie revealed that the new single will be completely separate from his 'Lazarus' musical stage show, which features new songs specially composed for the production.
The statement added: "Contrary to inaccurate reporting on the sound and content of the album, only the following can be confirmed:
"The single will be released on November 20th and is not part of David's theatre piece 'Lazarus'.
"The album will be released on David's birthday, January 8th 2016."
News of Bowie's latest album comes shortly after it was revealed that the 'Space Oddity' singer is to write songs for the 'SpongeBob SquarePants' musical.
Bowie previously voiced a character on the cartoon in 2007 and he will be joined by a host of stars, including Cyndi Lauper, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and John Legend, in contributing music to the Broadway show.
The show will have an initial run in Chicago from June 7 to July 13, 2016, before heading to Broadway for 2016-17.

Kanye West is planning to duet with Kim Kardashian West.
The 'Bound 2' rapper and the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who are currently expecting their second child, a son, together - are reportedly planning to head into the studio to work on a collaboration, with the 35-year-old star learning the piano for her part.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kim is excited about the collaboration and has even been learning the piano. Kanye plans to release the song just after Kim has their second child."
It is not known whether Kim - who also has two-year-old daughter North with Kanye - will sing on the track but it is thought to be unlikely after the mother-of-one previously admitted she regrets trying her hand at music when she released 'Jam (Turn It Up)' in 2011.
She said: "It's definitely a memory and it was a fun experience. But if there's one thing in my life I wish I didn't do ... I don't like it when people kind of dabble into things they shouldn't. And that I don't think I should have.
"Like, what gave me the right to think I could be a singer? Like, I don't have a good voice."

Keith Richards says drugs "never did anything" for his creativity.
The 71-year-old Rolling Stones rocker - who has been open about his past drug use - insisted that the idea that illegal substances can provide inspiration is a myth and revealed he stopped using drugs because he didn't want them to become more important to him than the music.
Speaking to Kirsty Young on BBC Radio 4's 'Desert Island Discs', he said: "I have never felt it did anything for my creativity. It kept me up a lot at nights looking for the stuff.
"It was something that I had to stop because I realised there are experiments that go on too long. Some people can handle things and other people can't. If the drugs become more important than the music then you've lost the battle."
Keith also opened up about going on stage just two hours after his 10 month old son Tara died in 1976.
He said:""It was such a shock at the time especially... I'm getting a phone call in Paris and this happened in Geneva, and I thought, I'm going to go mad... unless I do this show tonight."
"If I just sit here with this idea, I don't know what I'll do. Maybe it was just a sense of self-preservation... it was a rough, rough thing. I had a feeling this is a show and I must go on stage. I'll worry and grieve and think about this all after the show."

Rita Ora used to sing in pubs at the age of 14.
The 24-year-old singer has admitted she was so keen to carve out a career for herself in the music industry that she would break the law in order to get big name producers in London to notice her.
She told the Independent magazine: "I'd just set up camp wherever they'd take me. Once I went to a funfair and my mother put my name down for open-mic night because in the crowd was a Grammy-Award-winning producer called Martin Terefe, who signed me to a production deal for two years. I was 14. It was illegal to sing in pubs at that age."
The 'Body on Me' hitmaker was determined to follow in the footsteps of famous pop stars like the late Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey but the pub-goers had other ideas.
She explained: "I loved American divas like Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, and I'd try to sing like them. But the requests from the crowd were very varied - anything from the Rolling Stones to Nirvana to Fleetwood Mac."
She added: "I had no f**king shame man. I was like, 'Here we go.' I really enjoyed it. I really loved singing."

Rod Stewart claims he once almost died in a plane crash.
The 70-year-old rocker has admitted he feared for his life after a goose flew into the engine of his private jet.
Recalling the ordeal, he said: "My manager and I nearly lost our lives when a goose flew into our plane engine after takeoff from Switzerland. We landed safely amidst the non-pleasant aroma of a roast goose Christmas dinner."
Rod rarely gets stage fright, but admits he freaked out before performing in front of Queen Elizabeth.
He said: "One of my most nerve-racking concerts was for Queen Elizabeth II. I looked in her eyes as I sang my 'Great American Songbook' standards."
Meanwhile, the 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' hitmaker has admitted he feels most relaxed at home with his family.
He told UsWeekly magazine: "The most important holiday for me is Father's Day - above Christmas. I have eight children. I'm happiest when I have a loud, bustling house."
Despite living in Los Angeles, Rod enjoys "a Sunday roast every week with five couples" there.
The British musician has also insisted he's "not tight" with his money "despite what Ronnie Wood says."
But he added: "In fact, when I moved, I bought my wife [Penny Lancaster] a teapot."

Selena Gomez is ready to quit the limelight.
The 23-year-old singer recently released her new album 'Revival' and is seems it may be her last studio collection for a while as she is now reportedly eager to lead a normal life.
A source told the US' OK! magazine: "Selena's life is always under a magnifying glass. She doesn't want to deal with it anymore. This isn't a phase she'll get over. Underneath her spirited façade, Selena is a mess.
"She cries all the time thinking about the hypocrisy and backstabbing that comes with the entertainment industry.
"This album will be her last - she only did it because she was under contract - and she's told her agent that she's done with acting too."
The brunette beauty is planning to go on tour next summer and is starring in 'Neighbours 2,' but doesn't want to take on any more projects after that.
The insider said: "Just because she made a lot of money in Hollywood doesn't mean she has to stay."
Meanwhile, the 'Good For You' hitmaker, who had a four-year on/off relationship with troubled pop star Justin Bieber, recently admitted she doesn't trust anyone.
She said: "I don't trust anyone...It's something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn't good for me.
"I feel like I can say I have a sense of judgement, but I think it will always be there, you know. There will always be that question mark of, 'Who is this person and do I trust them?' That always happens."

Gary Numan doesn't care about current electronic music.
The 'Cars' hitmaker admitted he takes no interest in popular EDM and doesn't consider him to be waving a flag for the genre.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I don't really care [about Electronic music] to be honest. I just look after myself. I do my own thing and make sure I am doing what I want to do and the rest of it does what it likes. I'm not a flag waving champion for electronic music."
Asked what inspires him to make music nowadays, he said: "Same as always really the life you lead the things that happen. Electronic music is technology driven. We are being fed constantly new equipment and new software, so in a way it's easy because you are given these amazing things that you couldn't do a year ago and I find that exciting because I'm anarchy and geeky."
He added: "As I say I find it easy to be inspired. I don't have to look around too much for something to do it, it's right there in front of me."

Janis Winehouse thinks a posthumous Amy Winehouse release would tarnish her reputation.
The late star's mother has opened up about the possibility of another album created from the singer's demos, insisting she is not keen on the idea as she believes Amy, who tragically passed away in 2011, would have hated it.
She told BANG Showbiz: "Amy was very fussy about what she did. Oh so precious. If she did something, she'd say 'No, that is not right.' You would say 'That is OK.' And she would say 'No, it's not.' And that was Amy."
Janis' partner Richard Collins also slammed the idea of another album following the release of 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' released four months after Amy's death.
Asked about whether there's one in the works, he explained: "We don't know. As far as we know there is nothing. But the record company may know more than we do."
Questioned on whether he'd support such a release, he said: "If it was good enough. There are bits and pieces but they are rubbish and it is an insult to her and an insult to the fans. I know they would want it but it would still be an insult to them to buy a bit of tat."
