Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton were the big winners at the CMA Awards.
The annual County Music Association Awards saw Little Big Town's 'Girl Crush' win in the best single and best song categories with the group also winning in the vocal group title, while Chris was named best male vocalist, best new artist, and best album for 'Traveller'.
On winning the album award, Chris said: "This is unbelievable. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to think. Thank you so much for the love."
Elsewhere, Luke Bryan picked up the coveted entertainer award for the second time and Miranda Lambert secured her sixth consecutive female vocalist win.
On her win, Miranda said: "Hi guys thank you so much I needed a bright spot this year."
And fans were treated to plenty of performances during the 49th awards - held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (04.11.15) - with Justin Timberlake collaborating with Chris Stapleton on 'Tennessee Whiskey' and 'Drink You Away'.
There were plenty of awkward moments during the ceremony though as hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley kicked off the biggest night in country music with an opening skit which joked about the split of country stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert earlier in the year.
Carrie said: "This year there have been so many big changes."
Brad then added: "You know what else is 'cray cray?' How many couples broke up this year - from Ben Affleck to Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry and what's his name?"

Krept & Konan believe Rita Ora could be "bigger than Madonna".
The hip hop duo are pals with the singer and have gushed about her talent, insisting she's got enough star quality to surpass the 'Material Girl' hitmaker as the queen of pop.
They said: "If she carries on doing what she is doing she can be bigger than Madonna if she wants to.
"I feel like with her the sky is the limit - it depends how hard you work.
"She's on her way there man - she has put out a lot of songs and a lot of hits.
"She does well on the fashion stuff too - big up Rita man."
The 'Freak of the Week' singers released their debut album 'The Long Way Home' in July but teased they've been back in the studio with Rita to work on their respective records, having previously rapped on a remix of her single 'Poison'.
Speaking backstage at the MOBO awards where they won the best album and best hip hop act accolades, they told the Daily Star Online: "Rita, she's fun man - she's got a vibe, she's so bubbly.
"Sometimes we are in the studio with writers block but with her it just flows."

Noel Gallagher thinks "fame is wasted on c***s" nowadays.
The 48-year-old rock icon believes popularity isn't judged by talent any more and, instead, is achieved by stars like One Direction's Harry Styles, 21, who, he says, lacks "spirit."
Speaking to Esquire magazine, he said: "I'll tell you what's wrong. Fame's wasted on these c***s today.
"Harry Styles has got nothing to say for himself - nothing. 'You alright, mate?' "Uhhh." That's it. The gig will never die because you can't download it. You can't download spirit."
The former Oasis frontman's attacks didn't stop there as he also hit out at Harry's former bandmate Zayn Malik for leaving the boy band in favour of a normal life.
He added: "For the likes of me who persevered from an early age to play the f**king guitar and write songs and practice and practice and practice, I'll be fine. God help Zayn Malik."
However, not everyone was in the firing line as Noel, who has previously started a feud with Eminem and Alex Turner, had nothing by kind words for rapper Kanye West, 38.
He said of the star: "You watch him on the MTV Awards and you think, 'You can f**king stay, you're alright.' "

Phil Collins would "love" to have a Genesis reunion.
The 64-year-old musician recently revealed he is coming out of retirement to return to music and has now admitted he is keen to get Genesis back together, but with Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks instead of the original line-up.
He said: "I'd love to do it but it puts a bit of a kibosh on it if I can't play the drums. There is no reason why the three of us can't get back together, though.
"We still get along, always have done."
However the singer and drummer has suffered nerve damage in his arm, limiting his drumming ability which could impact their live shows.
He explained: "The voice is alright, it hasn't broken yet. That's the main thing, considering a lot of people don't even know I play drums, I could get away with it. It would p**s me off because it's the reason I started doing this in the first place but I'm not sure anyone else would care."
The 'In The Air Tonight' hitmaker is also working on a new solo album but confessed he's nervous about the return.
He opened up saying: "Being away from it for a while, I'm not saying you get scared but you get used to not doing it.
"I've got little ideas on my phone. Every time I think of something I write it down. It's making that first move. It always has been, when you walk into a studio with a blank sheet, you think 'What am I going to do now?' But I want to do this. Why not?"
He also opened up about his songwriting session with Adele back in 2013 admitting he had no idea who she was when she reached out to him, even though she's won 10 Grammy Awards and sold more than 30 million copies of her second album '21'.
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I'd never heard of her. Apparently I'm the only person in the world who can say that."

5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin thinks Taylor Swift seems "destructive".
The 21-year-old rocker has admitted he isn't keen on dating the 'Bad Blood' singer as he believes she would be a bad influence.
He said: "[Taylor] feels a little destructive to me. I think it's interesting, I think it's cool - she's a deep thinker."
The 'She's Kinda Hot' hitmaker explained his comments by saying her poor history with relationships and habit of subsequently writing songs about them would likely mean some great songs would be created if they dated.
He said: "She has a lot of songs about some messed up relationships. I think some good songs would come out of it."
Taylor, 25, has been seeing Scottish DJ Calvin Harris for almost 10 months but has previously dated stars including Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Harry Styles.
But that didn't stop Ashton's bandmate Michael Clifford flirting with her at a party earlier this year.
During an interview with Howard Stern, he confessed he tried to hit on her while "drunk" but was unsuccessful.
The band recently released their second studio album 'Sounds Good Feels Good' which has topped the charts in 10 countries including the UK, US and Australia.

James Franco's band has signed a record deal.
The '127 Hours' actor's band Daddy - which also features multi-instrumentalist Tim O'Keefe - has been snapped up by Kobalt and will release a The Smiths-inspired album and film in 2016.
James and Tim said of the news: "We are really excited to partner with Kobalt on our upcoming Daddy album and film.
"Kobalt has the right forward-thinking approach to work with a project as unique as ours, where we see our work not only existing within the music realm, but extending into the film, art space and beyond on an independent basis."
The album will be titled 'Let Me Get What I Want' in reference to The Smiths' 1984 song 'Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want' and will feature the band's bassist Andy Rourke on every track.
The 37-year-old star has previously penned numerous poems influenced by the Salford-based band's songs which will form the basis for the new music.
And the accompanying movie will be created by each track's video being put together to form an hour-long art film.
James has previously praised frontman Morrissey for inspiring his own creativity.
He said: "The Smiths' songs provided inspiration for the poems, lending tone and situation.
"I originally wrote this sequence as a way to use one medium (music) to influence another one (poetry)... [But] once I had the sequence, Tim and I took the material one step further and turned the poems inspired by songs back into songs of their own."

Good Charlotte are making a comeback.
The 'Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous' hitmakers - who have been on hiatus since 2011 - announced on Twitter yesterday (03.11.15) that they have got back together, prompting the hashtag #WelcomeBackGC to trend worldwide.
And the group also teased a new song, 'Makeshift Love' on website Alternative Press, marking their first new music since 2010 album 'Cardiology'.
Speaking about the decision to reform, Benji Madden admitted he and his bandmates - bassist Paul Thomas, guitarist and keyboardist Billy Martin, and drummer Dean Butterworth - agreed with his twin brother, frontman Joel Madden, to wait until they "genuinely" had something to say.
He told Spill magazine: "Good Charlotte was incredibly special to us. Five years ago, we shut down the website, the merch store, the entire band ... That was our way of taking it back and making it ours again.
"We all decided we would wait until we felt genuine about saying something to the world again.
"Joel wasn't feeling like he could come back until he meant it, and we all agreed, we couldn't do anything our hearts were not in."
The group released five albums before going on hiatus.
Last year, Joel and Benji released an album, 'Greetings from California', as The Madden Brothers.
