Tom Fletcher is working on new music for 2016

Tom Fletcher has teased he's working on "new music" that's "not band-related".
The 30-year-old McFly guitarist has had most of 2015 off since super-group McBusted - a combination of his group and Busted - wrapped their tour in April.
But Tom has been busy writing more books and a raft of songs that are not connected to either group.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I am doing a lot of book writing stuff at the moment. I've got some really exciting things planned for next year that I can't talk about yet. And some music stuff that is not band-related. Lots of different projects really. I try and fill my time with lots of stuff."
Tom - who is expecting a second child with Giovanna Falcone, with whom he already has 20-month-old son Buzz - has been busy with bandmate Dougie Poynter creating new stories for their 'The Dinosaur That Pooped' series.
The musician - who was speaking to launch Amazon.co.uk's Kids Love Books campaign - added: "Me and Dougie have loads of plans for new books in the series it's just finding time. We've got too many ideas and not enough time to do them all. But there are definitely going to be some new 'The Dinosaur That Pooped' stuff next year."

Kacey Musgraves wants to write a Britney Spears inspired album

Kacey Musgraves wants to write songs that "sound like 'Toxic' by Britney Spears".
The 27-year-old country singer is keen to record music of all different styles and would love to lay down an album of tracks that all had a pop vibe like Britney's smash hit.
Speaking at a special Royal Albert Hall workshop with aspiring young musicians ahead of her concert at the iconic London venue on Wednesday night (18.11.15), she said: "I'd like to do a whole record that sounds like 'Toxic' by Britney Spears, that kind of Western-style pop."
Kacey is also interested in writing and recording reggae songs because she's always loved the laid back genre.
She said: "I really love reggae music and I've always wanted to do a reggae project but in my own way: how I sing and with my words."
Kacey took part in the workshop as part of the Royal Albert Hall's Albert Sessions which is part of the venue's ground-breaking Education & Outreach programme - which brings music to more than 100,000 people each year, such as storytelling sessions aimed at infants to concerts in care homes.
During the event the 'Follow Your Arrow' hitmaker talked about her inspirations, her career and her craft, interspersed with performances of many of her best-loved and most acclaimed songs, explaining the sentiments and the techniques behind them. She finished with a performance of her debut single 'Merry Go 'Round'.
Kacey admitted getting to perform at the Royal Albert Hall
He said: "Tonight's show is just as much on the bucket list, a crazy moment, as it was opening for Kate Perry or duetting with Willie (Nelson). If the only thing I got to do in my career was play a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall, I would be totally floored. There are so many things happening like that, though, that you can't feel them all - sometimes it can be kind of numb."

Adele regrets lyrical hurt

Adele regrets "hurting people's feelings" with her lyrics.
The 'Hello' singer doesn't want to explain too much about the meaning behind the songs on her new album '25' because she thinks she was to "open" about the material on her previous efforts '19' and '21'
She said: "Last time no one was waiting to try and work out what my songs meant and I was so open about what they were about, I hurt people's feelings with that, a little bit, being so honest.
"Being a bit more immature then than I am now, you know, 'I don't care, you broke my heart' and I felt quite bad about that."
And the 27-year-old singer also wants to be more private for the sake of her partner Simon Konecki and their three-year-old son Angelo.
Speaking to Graham Norton for her upcoming TV special 'Adele at the BBC' - which airs in the UK on Friday (20.11.15) evening - she said: "I've got different things going on now, I have a family and I'm a lioness and I want to protect them, and I also want people to interpret these songs how they want to, rather than me shoving it down people's throats, 'This one is about the time I punched him and then went running off down Oxford Street...' "
During 'Adele at the BBC', the chart-topping singer performed a number of her classic tracks and some new material, as well as chatting with Graham and even showing her comedic skills in a hilarious yet touching sketch.

Adele vows to return to US for a tour

Adele has promised to perform in America.
The British singing superstar is gearing up to release her highly-anticipated third LP '25' on Friday (20.11.15) and has vowed to perform "at least" as much as she did last time she performed in the US in 2012.
She said: "I will do as many US shows at least as I did last time, which wasn't that many, so don't get too excited."
The 27-year-old star was joking about her last American tour, which was cancelled when she suffered a vocal cord haemorrhage.
Meanwhile, Adele also revealed the inspiration behind her new single, 'When We Were Young', which is about past relationships.
In an interview on SiriusXM Radio: "It's about being at a party and seeing everyone you've fallen out with.
"Everyone you have ever loved and never loved, where you can't find the time to be in each other's lives and you are all thrown together at this party when you are 50."
The 'Rolling In The Deep' hitmaker made a surprise comeback less than a month ago when she debuted her new song 'Hello'.
Adele's '25' will be released on Friday 20 November via XL Recordings.

Zayn Malik wants to work with Liam Payne

Zayn Malik wants to work with Liam Payne.
The 22-year-old singer recently reached out to his former One Direction bandmate for the first time since he quit the group and has admitted they laid their differences aside and are hoping to collaborate in the near future.
Speaking to Fader magazine, he said: "I spoke to Liam about two weeks ago. It was the first time I'd spoken to him since I left the band, and I rung him, and he wanted to talk.
"He said that he didn't understand it at the time, but he now fully gets why I had to do what I did.
"He understands that it's my thing, that I had to do that, and that basically he wants to meet up and sit down and have a good chat in person and he wants to do some music and work on some stuff aside from being in the band, which we always wanted to do anyway."
Since leaving the 'Little Things' hitmakers in March, Zayn has been busy carving out a solo career in the industry and is proud that he's created music that's deemed "cool."
He explained: "I'm working every day now, but I'm working on music that I enjoy. That's [One Direction is] not music that I would listen to. Would you listen to One Direction, sat at a party with your girl? I wouldn't ... If I was sat at a dinner date with a girl, I would play some cool s**t, you know what I mean? I want to make music that I think is cool s**t."
One Direction - made up of Liam, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Payne - are now on an extended hiatus from the group.

Last Shadow Puppets announce new LP

Last Shadow Puppets will release a new album in 2016.
The duo - consisting of Arctic Monkey's frontman Alex Turner, singer/songwriter Miles Kane and Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford - have completed their second record, the follow-up to 2008's 'The Age of the Understatement'.
Producer James told NME.com: "This year, I've just done a Last Shadow Puppets record, which is the guy from Arctic Monkeys and Miles. So we did the follow-up album to that. That's the last thing I did."
The super-group also confirmed the new LP will be released early next year.
James added: "It will be out next year sometime."
Alex and Miles became firm friends when Mile's previous band The Little Flames supported Arctic Monkeys on their 2005 UK tour and joined them again on the road in 2007.
After cementing their friendship the pair decided to write songs together for a collaborative project which became The Last Shadow Puppets.

Adele album leaked online

Adele's new album has been leaked online.
The 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker's highly anticipated comeback album '25' is set for release in just three days but is now believed to have been leaked on the Internet.
Short clips of each track from the record began appearing online yesterday (17.11.15) ahead of its official release date on Friday (20.11.15).
And while it was initially rumoured on Twitter that 25 CDs were mistakenly released early by the US retailer Target, a spokesperson for Adele has since rubbished the claim as "not true".
Prior to the leak, a legally-released version of the track 'When We Were Young' from Adele's upcoming third album appeared online.
Adele made her surprise comeback less than a month ago when she debuted her new single 'Hello' and confirmed the release date for her latest album.
And until now the 27-year-old star had managed to avoid having her beloved music leaked.
Meanwhile, Adele is set to appear on a TV special with UK chat show host Graham Norton to celebrate the album's release on Friday (20.11.15) before travelling to the US to perform on 'Saturday Night Live'.

Conor Mason: Nothing But Thieves write better songs hungover

Nothing But Thieves frontman Conor Mason writes better songs when he's hungover.
The 'Trip Switch' singer admitted he finds it easier to work on new music when he is recovering from a night of drinking, because he's not in his own "mindset" in that state.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Conor explained: "I don't know why. I think it's because you're not in your mindset so you come up with a load of crap and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't."
The 22-year-old singer and his bandmates - Joe Langridge-Brown, Dom Craik, Philip Blake and James Price - have been making a name for themselves with their self-titled debut LP and Conor thinks their sudden success is down to coming along at the "right time".
He said: "Bands like Royal Blood, Slaves, Mortality and even James Bay opened up that kind of guitar band thing, so I think we're gonna add to it as much as we can.
"I love the fact that we're doing our own thing. It opens up another theme in that rock area.
"We are just on the right wave at the minute. We're very lucky in that sense. We are riding it and enjoying it and writing good songs."
The band are gearing up for their March/April 2016 headline UK tour.
