Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx has got married.
The legendary rocker tied the knot with Courtney Bingham after three years with the model in a ceremony in front of their family and friends yesterday (15.03.14).
Taking to Twitter after the ceremony, he wrote: "Hot damn. I’m a married man…. @how2girl looked absolutely beautiful. Now it’s time to PARTY. (sic)"
A representative for the couple also confirmed the news to People magazine, and the pair were wed at Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles.
The ceremony – which was attended by 130 guests – is said to have had a Gothic rock and French countryside theme.
Those who celebrated the happy day with the newlyweds were greeted by peacocks, while they later enjoyed a triple berry dessert from Sweet Lady Jane – a favourite of Courtney’s.
While the bride wore a custom ivory gown, the groom went with a black suit with a black bandana tied around his head.
The iconic bassist’s proposal was announced back in November 2012, and he said they were "beyond happy".
He tweeted: "When Courtney and I were in St Bart’s I popped the question and she said YES….We would like to thank everybody who has been tweeting and posting online us congratulations….Both of us and our families are beyond happy."
